Andy came into the living room and found Joe had thrown stuff all over the place.
Joe: "Oh, hi, Andy. Are you already done showering?"
Andy: "Yep, and you better clean up this mess because I am not doing it for you."
Andy turned around.
Joe: "Uhm, Andy?"
Andy looked over her shoulder at Joe, who looked really guilty about something.
Joe: "Hypothetical. What would happen to the person if he had forgotten your Labrys in the wood?"
Andy: "Hypothetical, that person would have..."
Andy looked at her clock.
Andy: "Nineteen minutes to jog the ten miles back to the woods and back home again before we leave. Or else the person will be in more trouble than he was back in Barcelona."
Joe: "Damn it."
Joe got up and ran out of the safe house.
Nicky: "I have packed your Labrys and the other weapons."
Andy: "Thanks."
Nicky: "Where is Joe?"
Andy: "I taught him a hypothetical lesson."
Nicky: "I don't follow."
Andy: "The hypothetical lesson is about what happens when you give me a very good reason to tease you."
Nicky giggled.
Nicky: "One day, I have to do something about Joe forgetting stuff. Should we pick him up on the way?"
Andy: "And ruin my fun? No way in hell."
Nicky: "You do know that Joe will search the entire woods for something he can not find?"
Andy nodded.
Nicky: "And if he stays in the woods, it means we can't leave and go to the bar you have talked about for weeks?"
Andy groaned.
Andy: "Fine, you can call him in an hour."
Nicky: "Very kind of you."
Andy: "But in return for getting your boyfriend back again, I expect at least four trays of baklava."
Nicky: "Fair enough."
What happened when Joe joined Andy and Nicky is a story for another day.
