FOUR CONFIRMED VICTIMS OF BELLA’S PASTA DISAPPEARANCES

Piece by Charlie d’Jouvente

After Chevalier Enterprise’s promises of safety following the multiple incidents that have occurred in its doors, locals are horrified to see such tragic patterns repeat themselves just two short years after the infamous “Ursa Bite”. Authorities say that on the night of 16 May, 1985, several young children of varying ages went missing at Bella’s Pasta. The children, as of now, are seemingly unrelated.

The four victims have been identified as 10-year-old Mirabelle Chevalier, 9-year-old Isabelle Moineau, 12-year-old Odile Aiuchi, and 6-year-old Boniface Zabor. When we attempted to reach the families of these four missing children, only one responded. Pétronille Zabor declined to take an interview.

“We’re doing everything in our power to make sure that we find these children,” claimed Defender Jacques Auvergne. While the Defender holds out hope that authorities still yet might find the children alive, the chances of them being found alive have dropped drastically in the 3 days they’ve been missing.

The ongoing investigation has led Defenders to believe that the culprit is affiliated with the company, due to the use of a mascot suit–discovered on security cameras–in order to lure the children into the backstage area. Defenders also claim to have found the murder weapon–a bloody knife. Unfortunately, they did not share if they have found the bodies at this time.

Community response has been swift and emotional. A small memorial has formed outside the restaurant’s entrance, with flowers, candles, and handwritten notes accumulating along the sidewalk. Several parents have publicly criticized Chevalier Entertainment for what they describe as “a pattern of negligence,” citing both the 1983 and 1985 incidents as evidence of systemic safety failures. Local advocacy groups are now calling for a temporary shutdown of the establishment until the investigation concludes.

Chevalier Entertainment released a brief statement late Saturday evening expressing their “deepest sympathies” to the families and pledging full cooperation with Defenders. However, the company declined to answer questions regarding staffing shortages, malfunctioning animatronics, or the presence of unauthorized personnel on the premises that night.

As of this morning, Defenders have expanded their search radius to include nearby alleyways, dumpsters, and drainage systems. K‑9 units have been deployed, though officials have not disclosed whether any leads have been found. “We are treating this as an active and urgent case,” Auvergne reiterated. “We ask the public to remain vigilant and report any information, no matter how small.”

The investigation remains ongoing.
