SEVENFOLD DICES

Summary:

Seven lives roll into each other by accident, suspicion, and bloodshed. A crown prince bound by oath, a knight sworn to duty, a guard raised to distrust, a sailor chasing cursed seas, a healer clinging to faith, a druid born of the forest, and a demon-marked child who never chose his pact. What begins as a fragmented encounter becomes a party forged not by trust, but by necessity. Fate does not ask permission. It simply rolls.

Notes:

This is basically ENHYPEN but make it DnD. Well I'm quite a newbie in this game, I just inspired to get the character based on the class, species and the background, so like... why not. And here it is, enjoy fellas

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

1. Lee Heeseung as Heli Arcturus

Age: 22 years old

Class: Paladin (Oath of the crown),

Background: Noble

Species: Aasimar

Heli Arcturus was born when bells were ringing and banners were already raised. Not because he was loved, but because he was needed. An heir before a child. A promise before a person. His celestial blood does not shine the way people expect holiness to shine. It presses. When he swears an oath, the air tightens around him, as if the world itself is leaning closer to listen. Not blessing him. Testing him.

He was taught that the Crown is not something you wear. It is something you carry until your back bends, until your spine learns the shape of obedience. Law comes first. Realm comes second. Self comes last, if it comes at all. Whether the realm is just or rotten does not matter. An oath is an oath. In battle, Heli does not advance. He endures. His shield does not protect; it judges. He does not ask others to stand with him. He assumes they will. Outside combat, he speaks carefully. Too carefully. As if every word might be used as evidence later.

He will choose order even when it hollows him out.
And the voice that once guided him has gone silent.
He pretends silence is faith.

2. Park Jongseong as Jaan Claremont

Age: 20 years old

Class: barbarian

Background: Noble guards

Species: half-goliath

Jaan Claremont was built to last and raised to be used. A body meant to hold the line. A name meant to obey it. As a half-goliath born into noble guard blood, no one expected him to question anything. Only to stand. Only to take the hit. Only to remain when others fell. He learned endurance first. Thought came later, quietly, like a bruise blooming under armor. His rage is not chaos. It is permission. Permission granted only when restraint has failed, when command has rotted into cowardice. When Jaan fights, it feels less like anger and more like gravity correcting itself.

Jaan respects hierarchy because it gives shape to the world. He despises corruption because it wears authority’s face and lies with it. Loyalty, to him, is heavier than blood. Once given, it does not loosen. He does not know how to speak pain. So he lets his fists do it for him.

Once, he abandoned his post.
People died.
The world did not end.
That frightens him more than anything.

3. Sim Jaeyun | Jake as Jino Theodor

Age: 20 years old

Class: Rogue

Background: Sailor

Species: Half-Orc

Jino Theodor smells like salt, rust, and things that don’t stay where they belong. He grew up where the ground moves and nothing promises tomorrow. Ships taught him survival. Knives taught him honesty. The tide taught him that everything eventually takes something back. People see the tusks, the shoulders, the half-orc blood, and assume stupidity. Jino lets them. Underestimation is a currency, and he spends it well.

In a fight, he slips through gaps like water finding cracks. Armor means nothing to him. He knows where people forget to protect themselves. He smiles when he strikes, not because it’s funny, but because fear hates being seen. Outside combat, he laughs too loud, risks too much, and feeds stray animals like they might remember him later. He avoids responsibility because responsibility has a way of chaining you to the bottom of the sea.

Someone once trusted him.
That trust turned into a price on his head.
He keeps moving so it never catches up.

4. Park Sunghoon as Solon Orion

Age: 20 years old

Class: Fighter

Background: Noble Knight

Species: Human

Solon Orion is what happens when expectation succeeds. Everything about him is correct. His stance. His sword. His silence. He was trained until hesitation was beaten out of him, polished until doubt learned how to hide. His sword never wavers. His hands never shake. He does not waste movement, breath, or emotion. To Solon, feeling is something you control, like balance or footing.

But perfection is not freedom.
It is containment.

He has sealed his emotions so tightly that when they surface, they do not ask permission. They rupture. They ruin timing. They choose the worst possible moment. Sometimes, in the quiet between drills, he wonders if knighthood is faith or just a role he never questioned. He hates himself for wondering.

5. Kim Sunoo as Shion Lethian

Age: 17 years old (

Class: Cleric

Background: Hermit

Species: elf

Shion Lethian learned silence before speech. The forest and scripture were his only companions, and both demanded listening more than answering. His faith is real and raw that untempered by people. He prays the way someone grips a rope while falling. With everything he has. When he heals, his hands tremble. Not from doubt, but from care. His magic does not roar. It mends. It closes. It stays. He smiles easily because fear is easier to carry when shared. He believes suffering is something you accept, not something you fight.

His god speaks to him in dreams.
Not with comfort.
With warnings.

Something is coming apart.
And Shion already feels the strain.

6. Yang Jungwon as Jakah Fleamont

Age: 15 years old

Class: Druid

Background: Guide

Species: Halfling

Jakah Fleamont was raised by things that do not lie. Trees. Wind. Tracks in the dirt that tell the truth if you know how to read them. The forest taught him patience before people ever taught him language. It chose him early, quietly, without ceremony. He shifts shapes the way others change moods, instinctive and unquestioned. Despite his age, there is something old in him. Not wisdom. Acceptance. Cities make his skin itch. Stone stacked on stone feels wrong. Too loud. Too dead. He believes nature corrects itself. He has not yet learned how inventive humans can be.

The forest marked him for something. It has not explained what. That was his purpose to find.

7. Nishimura Riki as Noa Dantalion

Age: 12 years old

Class: Warlock

Background: Criminal

Species: Tiefling

Noa Dantalion learned early that mercy is selective and childhood is optional. A tiefling child in alleys that count survival as skill, he learned to steal before he learned to hope. Trust was a luxury he could not afford, so he never developed the habit.

His pact was not ambition.
It was terror.

The thing that answers him does not want worship. It wants progress. Growth measured in loss. Power earned through pressure until something breaks. Noa grins because it keeps people from asking questions. He lies because truth has never protected him. He watches everyone because things leave without warning.

He expects betrayal.
He plans for it.
What frightens him is how ready his patron is to reward that belief.

They are not balanced yet they are also not safe.

A paladin crushed under law, a sentinel taught to enjoy obedience, a thief running from memory, a knight locked inside perfection, a cleric who mistakes pain for virtue, a child chosen by a forest, and a boy being sharpened into something the world will regret.

They do not form a party.
They form a fault line.

Notes:

I wanted to consistently updated the story, at least once a week.
Pray for life to keep easy on me because I just left the hospital two days ago because of exhaustion and dehydration. So, rest well and keep hydrated y'all
