Mr. Forkle knew many things the council offten rejected or denied the very existence of, for example moonlarks were never born one at time it was even fundamental for their development due to the lack parental support. This was so that they grew with a partner that would be there no matter what, it was even theorized that the twin moonlarks had mental connection to one another
Yet the council ignored this, and due to that error so many moonlark went without their twin, so many died to the point that very few existed
But the ones that survived, the ones that challenged even changed their very genetics, came back stronger, resilient and even more independent. Of course though the moonlark is a very smart species they learned that without the need of dependencies, while yes be harder to survive they would come back stronger.
Which started the moonlarks evolutionary tract to be more solitary creatures going as far as to kill their partner that once was their greatest ally.
all due to the error of the council.
It was as the humans would say bitter irony, that in their attempts to save the moonlarks caused the near extinction.
Of course he could have changed this even revealed the admittedly small Black swan at the time, but he chose not to. Because that wasn't what they stood for. So he waited and he learned.
