Thursday Evening, Kusuo walking in the Busy mall, looking around to see families walking together, couples chatting holding hands together, Kusuo blinked, as he wore his ring today, slowly getting use to the ring that blocks his Telepathy.. it was quiet but still looking around..
“Great one time of the year, the holiday, Christmas, my least favorite Holiday for many reasons, too many bright lights, people being loud, many places being crowded trying to find the perfect gifts, and not even going to talk about the Christmas Caroling.. this kind of holiday is usually either couples or children that enjoys such a time of year, even my Parents who dedicated to decorate the house with full Christmas decorations and went overboard with the big santa air balloon in front of our house and the Christmas lights that blinds nearby neighbors anytime they walk near our house...”
Kusuo stepped inside the Mall cafe, he looked around walking near the dessert aisle, he grabbed 3 packs of coffee jelly for 50% off, a great deal for Kusuo, he went to the check out to pay when the lady saw the coffee jelly and she smiled..
“Buying that for a special someone.. the holiday is the wonderful time of year even for romance” the lady giggles as she puts the coffee jelly in a bag..
Kusuo blinked, expression deadpan, “of course not I'm just buying my coffee jelly, but I don't normally go to this place since the cafe nearby was already closed for the holidays, I'm just going to buy the coffee jelly and go home, simple as that..” Kusuo thought to himself.
Kusuo says Nothing, grabbing the bag full of coffee jelly he paid for, he turns around to leave the cafe, Kusuo opens the cafe door, he walks out, Kusuo walking in the busy crowded area at the mall he was in deep thought..
“Yare..yare.. gifts, hmm.. I Guess I could get something for them.. Kokomi has been eyeing that new mirror all year.. Shun has been thinking about that new post bored cut out of his favorite anime and Touma has been waiting for that new Manga about murder mystery to come out, I could get them something if I can even afford it..” He thought..
Kusuo checks his wallet to see he doesn't even have enough yen to afford anything of the gifts for his partners, The worst part of the year is how expensive most of the gifts are, Kusuo could use his Apport ability but it must be with something of exactly equal value or within a 10% difference, and Kusuo can cause trouble if he isn't careful He looked around the Mall,
“It's too crowded to do this ability without drawing too much attention..”, he thought to himself..
he could go to the restroom but using his Clairvoyance the men's restroom is also crowded, “what a pain..” Kusuo mumbled under his breath, rubbing his temples..
Kusuo signs..”I shouldn't even care about giving them gifts but I would be a dick if i didn't, only doing it for their stake..” He looks around trying to find nearby gifts that are cheap, seeing different post boards and brands that came out when he saw a post board of a new ice rink that just opened, which he paused, brows raised, “a new ice rink..” Kusuo mumbled, he thought about it.. he could bring them to an ice rink it wouldn't be too bad plus it's much cheaper much to his liking and could be the best gift for them..
Kusuo simply grabs his phone with his left hand while his right hand still holding the bag of coffee jelly, he continues to walk in the mall, he click on the rink's official website for timed entry on his phone which was recommended, he quickly brought Four tickets, for Kokomi, Shun, Touma and for Himself..
“yare..yare..” Kusuo mumbled..
“an ice rink would be a perfect gift for all of us. After all, neither of us had ever used ice skates before so it would be our first time ever doing this but I might just need to use my abilities just in case so they don't fall inside the ice rink once we get there…” Kusuo inner thoughts, He walks out from the mall, he then begins to text them..

KUSUO: "Meet me near the park at 7:09.., I'm taking you three for a walk don't ask why just meet me.."
KOKOMI: "A Walk?.. like a Christmas date!!, AWW KU~ you didn't have too.."
TOUMA: "A walk is great, also considering how cold it is during winter, we could get frostbite, or the fact if one of us, dedicated to stick their tongue on a random pole.. talking about you Shun.."
SHUN: "HEY!.. That was last year plus Kusuo still protected me.. well after Aren panicked, this secret mission of service where dark reunion would not catch on thus catching them off guard I shall come to the Park… JK..Jk.. let me get my coat real quick.."
KUSUO: "Just meet me.."

Kusuo logs off from the group chat, Kusuo blinks, putting his phone in his pocket Kusuo dedicates, to buy small gifts that are meaningful for each of his partners.. he went to a nearby jewelry shop to buy a gift, he picked out a beautiful heart necklace for Kokomi, picked out a red bracelet for Shun and picked out a blackish purple watch for Touma, simple and pretty, Kusuo deeply looked at each of them..
"They might like this..” Kusuo inner thoughts from a psychic that claims to hate Christmas his heart slowly admits Christmas isn't too bad, he almost smiled softly, waiting in line he softly touches the gifts.., his mind imagining what their reactions to the gifts he brought them, would they be happy, shocked, impressed or worst.. but he quickly snapped from his thoughts once the line started moving.., , He walks towards the paycheck counter After Kusuo paid for the small gifts, he puts them gently in the bag with his 3 pack coffee jelly.. Kusuo knows it's not much but it's thoughtful enough for each of them.. he doesn't expect any gifts since he doesn't really like gifts that much nor surprises so it didn't matter much for him anyways.. He walked out of the nearby jewelry shop, Kusuo walking on the busy streets He checked the time on his phone and it was 7:06, so Kusuo dedicated to get coffee from a nearby cafe.. he stepped inside the cafe, he wanted to order coffee with extra sugar since Kusuo secretly likes sugary things but didn't want to say add extra sugar so Kusuo dedicated to ordered coffee with no sugar....
He later secretly added the amount of sugar he wanted very much, pleased with the coffee taste. The line took about 30 minutes when it was 7:09.. Kusuo headed to the park..

Kusuo was walking still holding his bag, drinking his warm coffee, when he saw three familiar heads, he quickly blinked and walking towards them, he sees Shun's light blue hair softly shines in the snow, with his long blue scarf far too long for him, still wearing his red bandages to defend against dark reunion while secretly Shun just wanted to look cool out in public, his black coat slightly big on Him, wearing his white ear muffs, waiting along with Kokomi and Touma..
Kokomi had her hair neatly curled, glowing brightly, her freshly warm soft brown trench coat, wearing white gloves, wearing her ear muffs softly pink, her pink scarf wrapped around her neck, drawing nearby attention from other people walking in the park mid evening in awe of her beauty..
Touma wears his dark purple scarf, wearing a grayish jacket, he has on his black gloves, his ear muffs are purple, he looks towards the sky seeing the beauty of the blue sky, snowflakes falling onto the ground, as one snowflake softly fall onto Touma's Nose, He felt the freezing cold touch from the snowflake, his blonde hair glows brighter near a lamp post during the snow..
“Are you three ready…” a voice came, Shun, Kokomi, Touma looked towards the sound to see Kusuo holding his bag and a cup of coffee. The wind snatched strands from his bangs smoothly, Kusuo wearing his simple muted greenish jacket, wearing his black ear muffins, wearing his dark green scarf, wearing gray gloves..
The snowflakes swirling in the sky, the snow on the ground, “Yep we're ready, so exactly where are we going.. is it just a simple walk or is there more to it.. maybe the movies, shopping or maybe..” Touma raised his brow..
“You'll see..” Kusuo walked ahead of them.. “Kusuo wait, I forgot to tie my shoes damn it!..” Shun quickly bends down to tie his shoes, before running towards Kusuo, Touma and Kokomi..
“Kusuo, it's so lovely you dedicated to walk, with us this evening. Is it a special date~.. maybe we could go to the karaoke that is 5 blocks away..” Kokomi response..
"I have something better than that… you'll see..” Kusuo added.. which made Shun, Touma and Kokomi curious, they wondered where Kusuo is taking them and if it's just a simple walk in the park..

When they eventually made it to the ice rink, Shun was in awe, grinning happily, Kokomi was surprised, Touma softly smiled looking at the open area seeing many people having fun in the ice stakes..
“Is this an ice rink… you brought us here..” Shun eyes sparkled enjoying the lights, “Yes.. it's a gift for you guys.. I thought-..” Kusuo mumbled nervously when Touma kissed him deeply his hand touching Kusuo hips, before pulling away grinning, Kokomi softly kissed Kusuo on the lip, tongue intertwined between breaths as she pulled her face away blushing red, Shun being dramatic pulled Kusuo collar deeply kissing Kusuo passionately, leaning deeply, tongue intertwined in Kusuo mouth, hands touching Kusuo cheeks, as Shun pulled his face away.. grinning like an idiot..
Kusuo blinked, stunned, Face flushed.. “You three.. don't do that in public-..” Kusuo turns his face away pretending it's not a big deal, his heart flutters..
“Kusuo this is a beautiful place.. I love it.. it's perfect” Kokomi claps her hands together, jumping excitedly glowing brightly, few people noticed Kokomi beauty in awe of her looks..
“We should get ice stakes but there is a 50% chance of one of us falling during the rink, I theorized all of us.. probably since we never actually skated before but we should've brought an ice pack just in case we hit our heads maybe-..” Touma rubs his chin… “Yeah yeah captain obvious, let's get our ice skates” Shun quickly went to get each of them ice skates.. luckily each of them got the right size to wear, Kusuo already finished his coffee and put the cup in a trash can..
They eventually entered the ice rink, since they are beginners they entered the barrier, stepping onto the ice sideways with their skates in a V shape, knees bent, taking small shuffling penguin steps while using the wall for support until they were balanced…
Shun quickly fell onto the ice rink floor while Kusuo leaned his hand helping Shun up, Kusuo dedicated to use his abilities secretly just for them to enjoy the moment, making sure they wouldn't fall..
Kokomi slowly gliding. The crisp scrape sound came from the ice rink floors, she smiles happily already getting the “hang” of ice skating.. Touma spins as he wanted to test that one trick he sees online from actual performers who were actually professionals.. he was impressed but already quickly noticed how he didn't fall or how oddly balanced he is..
“Kusuo did you use your abilities to balance us on the rink if so im surprised normally you usually just let accidents happen like that one time with Nendo falling into the river or the time Metori brought the wrong mansion im impressed you dedicated to use your powers to help us.. how sweet is it because you secretly care..” Touma smirks.. when his words get cut off from his Boyfriend gently with his usual monotone..
"Touma, just enjoy the moment.. your welcome..” Kusuo softly signs, eyes soften slightly than he heard a shush of the blade on the ice from Shun flowing on the ice, Kusuo looks at Shun.. his hair waving messily, Shun laughing loudly thinking he has mastered a skill.. “HAH! TAKE THAT DARK REUNION!” Shun points at the sky randomly getting a few stares as shun is being delusional again as always.. grinning like he was a master mind not realizing Kusuo is secretly using his abilities to make Him balance without falling, simply protecting his boyfriend from embarrassment..
Kokomi, dedicated to make an angel on the ice floors after she looked at her phone following the directions, her hair beautifully shining flowing naturally, Her natural glowing made everyone in the rink say “Oh wow..”, drawing much attention as She moved with an effortless grace,..
Kusuo didn't mind the attention after mouths of dating Kokomi he gotten used to the attention but he still prefer being in low profile, as Kusuo starts gliding on the ice enjoying the moment himself feeling the cold breeze from his body, he took a slow breath, “Maybe it was worth it this Christmas..” Kusuo thought, as he saw Touma doing swizzles then began a Two-Foot Spin his hair Wafted, Touma was talking mid skating..
“what's so fascinating is how Ice skating is ancient, starting with animal bone skates in Finland 4,000+ years ago for transport, evolving with steel blades for speed and artistry, which became an Olympic sport like jumps, spins, and speed, with modern skates using toe picks and blades I must say the development is impressive..” Touma was already talking to a random person who blinked in confusion and awkwardness…
Kusuo did a few spins on the ice floor, calmly gliding in the ice rink when Shun, Touma and Kokomi dedicated to skate along aside him, they began to do silly challenges which was Kokomi and Touma's idea.. Shun was interested while Kusuo simply allowed it..

Touma counted to 3.. as the four of them ice skates around the ice rink, Shun was behind Kusuo, Kokomi was second next to Touma who was easily ahead of them.. Kusuo quickly came ahead of Touma, Touma grins “Oh so thats how it is..” Touma chuckles.. not paying attention behind him with Shun and Kokomi secretly working together, as Kokomi made a deal to give Shun 50 yen if he helps her win which Shun quickly agreed…
While Kusuo was busy focusing on Touma when Kokomi suddenly glides passed Touma and Kusuo faster than them, happily giggling as she spins softly doing a blow kiss before smirking already ahead of them, while Shun quickly catched up to Touma, while Kusuo slightly stunned was secretly impressed, Kusuo thinking Kokomi would win..
Even suddenly Shun leans downward touching the ice floor as he pushed himself hard, gliding fast as he started gliding faster than Touma and Kusuo, quickly passing Kokomi which she blinked in surprised as Shun won and… he bumped into a wall.. which Touma almost laughed, Kokomi gasp.. Kusuo facepalm, he signs..
Shun on the floor rubs his head while waving, “HAH! I WIN.. BUT OW!..” Shun chuckled rubbing his forehead
"Of course you would do something as idiotic as that..” Touma teases Shun.. “wow Shun i didn't expect you to do that but are you alright” Kokomi asked.. “congrats on being an idiot but not bad..” Kusuo replied..
“Hey it was impressive wasnt it right?..” Shun replied, “eh.. that's debable..” Kusuo responded back earning a couple of giggles from Touma and Kokomi..
Eventually they all went to sit down to take a small break before leaving.. They quickly took off their ice skates after enjoying their time at the ice rink, Kusuo placed the bag on the floor, and Kusuo calmly pulled out small gifts which caught his partner's attention..
“I also brought you guys small gifts..” Kusuo took out 3 small boxes, he gave one to Kokomi, one to touma and one to Shun.. they were in awe..
“KU~.. that is so sweet” Kokomi softly blushes..”Thank you Kusuo but you didn't have too..” Touma added..
” I really appreciate this..” Shun responded already happily, Kusuo raised a brow “you haven't even opened it..” Kusuo chuckled softly and quietly..
When they opened it they were stunned and shocked.. “You brought me a heart necklace~.. KU that's so thoughtful I love it” Kokomi brightly smiles..
“A watch, I like it.. thank you Kusuo I'll always wear it everywhere i go..” Touma replied, his heart flutters
“A red bracelet.. this is awsome, I love it.. I'll keep it for the rest of my life until I die” Shun says dramatically, hand on his chest..
“They're just gifts…” Kusuo added..
“But it was from you.. and we appreciate it, even today it was a good Date..” Kokomi added..
“especially this ice rink, I think this day i will always remember and appreciate” Touma happily replied..
“thank you Kusuo, it shows that you love and even thinking about us shows us that you deeply care and I love it and you even picked my second favorite color.. red..” Shun grins..
Kusuo paused, eyes slightly widened before turning around blushing, Yare..yare the holidays but im glad you like it, his partners giggled softly each wearing the jewelry he brought them..
“But we also brought you a gift as well..” Shun added, which caught Kusuo's attention.. “you did?..” Kusuo was stunned.. “Yep but it's in your room you just have to find out when you get home” Touma winks, grinning..
“Hm.. I didn't expect them to buy me a gift..” Kusuo thought.. “We brought it with all of our savings.. we thought you might like it..” Shun softly smiles..
“After you said you needed a new one since it was old so we thought to buy you a gift to replace your old item we won't say but you just have to find out” Kokomi gently fixes Kusuo hair..
Eventually they were hungry, and Kusuo dedicated to share his coffee jelly he brought from the cafe at the mall earlier with his partners, each gave a small cheers before eating enjoying the sweetness of the coffee jelly, looking outside the snow this Christmas was perfect.. and Kusuo thinks its wasn't too bad..
Kusuo eventually walked his partners home, each talking mid walk their footsteps appear in the snow.. Kusuo kisses each of them good night as he gently waves at them, eventually when he finally comes home his parents greet Kusuo happily, hugging him..
“KU~ Welcome home, how has your day been.. did you have fun, did you get the coffee jelly you wanted?..” Kurumi softly asked..
“Actually yes.. it wasn't too bad..,” Kusuo simply nods, while his father Kuniharu rubs his hair, “Glad to hear that son.. dinner is almost ready..” Kuniharu added before going back to the kitchen to help his wife with cooking..
Kusuo slowly opens his room door after walking up the stairs, when he enters he sees a new TV that wasn't there before, He paused as he blinked.., “a TV..?, they bought me a new one after my old one broke and had to continue using my rewind ability to avoid wasting Yen..”
Kusuo slowly touched it and he realized it was a new TV.. ”heh.. I guess they really do give the best gifts every year..” Kusuo smiles.. he liked the gift..
Kusuo quickly grabbed his pajamas, took a long shower, went downstairs when dinner was finished, and calmly ate his dinner.. and for the first time Kusuo actually enjoyed the Holiday in years…
“I guess I should've never doubted this Christmas year….”
And Kusuo finally enjoyed today.. and maybe just maybe Kusuo could get used to surprises..
