It’s was late in the night, but most of demons weren’t sleeping, at least Odette and Velvette wasn’t. They were in the overlords of social media bedroom, cuddling on the big and comfy bed, after their ‘activities’ and cuz of that the only thing that covered their naked bodies was the warm blanket.
Odette was hugging her girlfriend from behind, nuzzling her nose into the other’s sinners fluffy pink hair, also feeling Velvettes expensive perfume.
Velvette was watching her phone, holding it with one hand and the other was gently squeezing the Carmines hand.
Both of them were quiet, it’s wasn’t an awkward one, more nice and even comfortable.
Then Odette pressed herself even more toward Velvette, putting her chin on the V’s shoulder.
She just stared right at Velvettes face for few seconds, not showing any emotions, but then she spoke up, breaking the silence.
“Hey, Vel?”
“Yeah?”
Velvette turned her head slightly to see Odettes face, from the side, raising an eyebrow and waiting for her girlfriend to continue.
Odette hesitated for a moment, like she was scared how Velvette would react, but she eventually asked:
“How did you die?” a pause them she quickly said, looking away.
“You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to,”
Velvette didn’t answer immediately, her expression being slightly confused, not expecting Odette to ask this type of question. She then eventually answered:
“Why asking?”
“Just curious, nothing serious.” replied the blonde haired sinner, leaving a small kiss on her girlfriend’s neck, leaving a black mark of her lipstick on her.
Velvette quietly giggled from her girlfriend’s kiss, forming a smile on her lips. She put her phone down on the nightstand, and turning her whole body around, facing her girlfriend, still holding her hand, gently squeezing it.
Odette also gently smiled, after seeing Velvette’s, and small sighed, relaxing of Velvettes body language and that she didn’t make her uncomfortable with the question.
“So.. How was it?” she asked, looking away for a second, her smile not fading any second, showing Velvette that she could trust her.
“Eh, not much. Just got killed by my stalker, who was obsessed with me… Almost like you.”
The last part she said teasingly, just wanting to see the Carmines reaction to that stupid joke.
And the reaction was just an annoyed expression and roll of the eyes.
“Wow, very funny, Velvette.” a pause “Was your death brutal? Like how did they even kill you?” she asked, looking right into the overlords eyes, she understands that it’s could be a sensitive topic, but she still couldn’t help but ask.
“No, not really. I mean, I wouldn’t call the gunshot into my head brutal. Is it?” she asked, not even sure by her own reply.
The Carmine blinked once and then spoke up after a moment, after thinking about the answer to Velvettes question.
“Well, I wouldn’t call it brutal. It’s quite normal, well in hell. So I guess not.” she answered, her voice unsure, she didn’t really have an answer to this question to be honest.
The comfortable silence came back, the two sinners just stared at each other right into each other’s eyes, their expressions relaxed.
Velvette let go of Odettes hand and gently touched her cheek instead, small rubbing it.
Odette slowly closed her eyes and leaned into the touch and gently grabbed the pink haired girls wrist, wanting her to keep going. Velvette softly chuckled, gently smiling and admiring her girlfriend.
Then she started talking.
“So how did *you* die? I told you mine death, now it’s yours turn.”
She raised one of her eyebrows teasingly, her gentle smile turning into a smirk, waiting for Odettes answer.
The Carmine opened her eyes and looked up at the V, not answering yet, she looked to away, trying to think about how to answer her girlfriend’s question.
“Well uh-.. People thought I was a witch and burnt me down.” She answered and looked up at Velvette, waiting for her reaction.
And Velvette reaction comes from teasing to surprised. She was quiet for a moment, not knowing how to reply. She knows that the whole Carmine family is from the late 1800s and that time was way different than now, but still. She didn’t expect her girlfriend’s death to be THIS. Then after a moment she finally opened her mouth and replied.
“And.. Why did they think you’re a witch?”
“Just cuz I was into scientists a little too much.” The blonde haired demon quickly answered, her voice was with a small hint of annoyance, she knows how absurd and stupid it’s sounds but it’s was true.
Velvette didn’t know what to say and even how to react so she just been quiet, looking away from Odette, not sure if she even should say something.
And the only good thing to do in her opinion was to kiss the others sinners forehead, without words saying that she feels bad for Odette. Being burnt alive is probably one of the most brutal and painful death.
Odette sighed softly and softly hugged her girlfriend, nuzzling her nose into Velvettes neck.
“I’m pretty sure that it’s time for sleep, hun.” she said that with her soft voice, feeling comfortable with her and Velvettes body being pressed to each other.
Velvette looked down at Odette and slowly smiled, wrapping her arms around the other’s sinners body, closing her eyes.
“Yeah, I guess you’re right.”
The rest of the night the two sinners were sleeping in each others arms, feeling safe and comfortable.
Tomorrow in the morning Velvette needs to drive Odette back home, cuz of Carmillas protectiveness and because she still doesn’t trust the overlord of social media.
Velvette is of course pissed about that but she tries to keep calm, just to make her girlfriend calm and not making her feel uncomfortable cuz of their fights.
But for now, they can enjoy each other’s company.
