Work Text:

Jungkook was having a day. Not just any day, but a really bad day. Yoongi was out of town with some group he had been working with for a while, Jimin was taking care of a sick Hoseok and tiny, evil mastermind Taehyung. So Haeun’s designated babysitter was out, and because Hoseok was sick Jungkook had to go work his shifts at the studio.

“Hyung, please please please I need you to watch Haeun today.” Jungkook begged over the phone. He only had one person he could ask and he had to make sure Yoongi never knew. As his husband has said, “I do not give a fuck, our daughter is never ever being watched by him. He will set the house on fire, drop our child or she is gonna die. So no fucking way.”

“Ummm, Jungkook are you sure? Cause I know hyung has been super strict about me watching your kid.” It was Namjoon, he was sceptical too. He had been warned more than enough by Yoongi that he was never allowed to be with Haeun without someone else there.

“Hyung I literally have no one else. Yoongi is out of town. Jimin is taking care of Hoseok and his evil mastermind child and I have to go to work.” Jungkook continued to complain as he watched Haeun run around the apartment acting like a superhero.

“Okay, as long as hyung doesn’t know…”

“He never will! I swear he will never know! Thank you! See you soon!”

------

Twenty minutes later and there was Namjoon standing in the middle of the apartment staring at Haeun.

“Ahjussi. Can we make pizza?” She begged, bringing him the bag of premade pizza dough.

“Umm.. Why don’t we ask Jin ahjussi if he can come over and help us? How does that sound?”

Haeun jumped up and down before running over to grab the phone and hand it to Namjoon. “Appa says that Haeun only gets to see Jin ahjussi if it’s an emergency or fancy dinner. Are we having a fancy dinner?” She asked as he handed Namjoon the phone.

Namjoon chuckled, “It’s a little bit of both Haeun-ah. Hyung, can you come over to Yoongi and Jungkook’s I need your help. I think I set the kitchen on fire.”

There was a scream from Jin. “I will be there in five minutes, maybe even two. You better not let that precious angel of theirs get a single scratch, burn or a hair out of place!”

-----

Exactly two minutes later Jin was throwing open the door of the apartment in a panic.

“Where the fuck is the fire?!” He shouted as he scanned the apartment.

“I lied. Sorry, Haeun wants to make pizza. Thought I would get you over here before the place was actually on fire.” Namjoon said as he tossed the ball back to Haeun. “Also language, we do not want to teach her anything.”

“First, Kim Namjoon I was in the middle of a job. Second, Yoongi curses much worse than me. Third, you are so lucky that I love you.” Jin said as he walked in and grabbed the pizza dough off the counter. “Haeun-ah, go wash your hands. We can make pizza now.”

“Yay! Pizza! Ahjussi, Namjoon ahjussi said that you would be here because you love him. Does that mean you two are married?” Haeun asked as she washed her hands in the kitchen.

Namjoon laughed while Jin turned away, embarrassed. “Haeun-ah w-why are you asking that?”

“Aboji says that if people love each other they should get married and get the damn thing over with.” Haeun said with a wide smile as she moved to sit on the counter.

Both Namjoon and Jin looked at each other and looked back at the little girl.

“Haeun-ah, that’s a bad word, you shouldn’t say that.” Jin tried to tell her.

“But aboji says it all the time. So why aren’t you married?”

“Jin ahjussi won’t say yes when I propose, that is why we aren’t married. Also Haeun-ah, you shouldn’t copy what you aboji says.”

“Anyway, Haeun-ah let’s make pizza. What kind do you want?”

“Cheese!”

Jin started getting everything ready. He found the tomato sauce in the back of the refrigerator, picked out three different types of cheese for Haeun to pick from, and got the flour to prepare the dough. Jin took a small piece of dough, put it on Haeun’s cutting board and gave her instructions on what to do.

Namjoon was glad he called Jin over, but it got him thinking about what Haeun had said. “Hyung, thanks for coming over again. I’m sure I would have burned the place down.”

Jin hummed as he continued to help Haeun. “Yes Namjoon, I’m glad too. Do you know when Yoongi or Jungkook will be back?”
“Not sure.” He said as he went back to his notebook to write more music.

Thirty minutes later, two jars of spilled tomato sauce, small blobs of pizza dough stuck to the floor and cheese clumps scattered everywhere , the mini Haeun sized pizzas were done.

“Haeun-ah, the pizza is done. Go wash up again and we can send your appa and aboji pictures.” Jin suggested as he grabbed his phone.

Haeun stood with her pizza on her little Hello Kitty plate smiling. “Okay, ready? One, two, three, smile!” Jin counted down as he took the picture.

He sent it to Jungkook first saying that their Haeun was not alone with Namjoon, and then to Yoongi saying how his daughter was already starting to copy him.

“Jin ahjussi, will you ever get married to Namjoon ahjussi?” Haeun asked as she ate.

“Well Haeun-ah, maybe if Namjoon ever seriously proposes,” Jin explained, “and maybe if Kim Namjoon was serious about marriage I would say yes.”

Haeun continued to ask questions until both Yoongi and Jungkook burst through the door arguing.

“Hyung I am not the one who taught her that word!” Jungkook argued.

“Oh sure cause she fucking learned it from me!”

“See you just did it right there! You can’t even open your damn mouth without cursing! God damnit, you’ve started a monster!”

“Appa, aboji!” Haeun shouted as she ran over to them. “Namjoon ahjussi and Jin ahjussi are going to get married!”

This stopped all four adults in the apartment as they stared at the little girl.

“H-Haeun-ah, I said that if Namjoon proposed we would get married.” Jin tried to explain.

“Hyung I've proposed like eight times. What else do you want from me?” Namjoon complained as he continued to write.

“Haeun why do you think Namjoon and hyung are getting married?” Yoongi asked as he picked her up, giving her a kiss then handing her off to Jungkook.

“Because they love each other. That's why you and appa are married! And appa said yes when you proposed! Even though appa said you were really fucking moody!”

“Jungkook, I really love you, but you're so dead.” Yoongi hissed under his breath as he grabbed Haeun from his husband and kicked him in the shin.

“Soooo, Namjoon hyung and Jin hyung are getting married. Congratulations, so what do you guys want for dinner.” Jungkook asked as he moved towards the kitchen.

“Pizza!” Haeun shouted from Yoongi’s arm. “Jin ahjussi taught me how to make pizza today!”

“Looks like you're already husband material hyung.” Yoongi poked fun at the older as he went to join Jungkook in the kitchen.

“Okay fine! Yes Kim Namjoon I will marry you! I know you carry the ring with you everywhere you go since you propose to me almost every other day. Now where is it?” Jin finally snapped as he stared down at Namjoon.

Namjoon checked his pockets and went through his sweatshirt. “I don't have it on me today. I wasn't planning on seeing you today since I was going to be watching Haeun.”

“What?! Namjoon were you watching my daughter all alone? Jungkook what the fuck were you thinking?!” Yoongi shouted from the kitchen.

“Um, yes..?” He said as he gave a nervous laugh.

“Yoongi don't curse, Jungkook don't curse. Namjoon you're impossible, you know that right?” Jin said as he sat down next to the rapper and gave him a kiss. “But I guess you're my problem now.”
