The tiny gestures given to Andre by Assimilation were always normal.
Since they began to stay in Collin's world (without permission), Assimilation would do something for Andre as much as he could. For example, he would find items for him from a village they went to, when Andre needed something he would bring it immediately, when they went to another place he would collect flowers for him and more..
Andre didn't think too much about it. He always thought Assimilation was just being helpful and nice. But it was until Collin started to talk about something called "gifts."
Collin was talking about a secret santa he joined and how he got one of the worst gift he got.
"YOU HAVE NO FRICKING IDEA. DUDE I SPENT TOO MUCH MONEY FOR THE GIFT AND THE MOTHERFUCKER-"

When Collin suddenly read the text, he stopped and then spoke again.
"What do you mean?"
< AndreW2002 >: What is gift
"You don't know what gift means dude?"
Well actually it was understandable to Andre doesn't know about gifts. Since that guy was made for speedrunning and not anything else.
"It's a thing... a thing given willingly to someone? Someone you care, who is special for you or for a special day you know"

"I mean it doesn't need to be a special day, you can just give a gift in a random Tuesday"

"Show them that you care about them? I don't really know how to explain but"
Andre nodded as he listened Collin.
But after that day Andre noticed something, Assimilation was always giving gifts to him.
As Collin said, Assimilation sometimes gave things for no reason at all. Not because Andre did something, not because it was an important day.. Because he cared about him?
Andre is still confused about a lot of emotions but thinking that Assimilation cared about him.. make him feel something.
He also wanted to show this to Assimilation.
"Andre"
Andre was pulled away from his thoughts by the red texts that suddenly appeared. He raised his head towards Assimilation.
"Hello Andre"

But the problem was, Andre didn't know how could somehow he can give his gift without Assimilation learning about it. Because he was always next to him.
Well most of time he was next to him. Of course, there were times when Assimilation could leave him alone whenever he wanted. But Assimilation could suspect it.
"It is getting late Andre"
Andre understood what Assimilation meant, nodded in agreement, and went to bed. They were sharing a bed together so Assimilation didn't want to go to the bed without Andre.
After the robot settled comfortably into bed, Assimilation also settled beside him and pulled the blanket over them. Neither of them needed sleep, but sleeping was still a good way to pass the time. And even though Andre was never quite sure of his feelings, he loved this warmth.
Andre decided to put the gift idea into action now because he couldn't find Assimilation around. When else was it better?
SIDIsquish: YAYAYAYAY WE ARE GOING TO GIVE A GIFT TO ASSIM (* ´ ▽ ` *)
Conzercheez: But do we have any gift idea?
xx_E-G-O_xx: I have no idea
SOUPBEGONE31: This is a waste of time we should just find anything we can
SIDIsquish: No we need to make it special!!
SOUPBEGONE31: And why?
SIDIsquish: Like Collin's said we are going to give this gift to someone special so we need to make it special
Andre wandered around aimlessly, lost in thought. He had really set his mind to this idea and wanted to make it happen.
SIDIsquish: GUYS WAIT HEAR ME OUT
SOUPBEGONE31: i'm scared
Conzercheez: I'm more scared

SIDIsquish: I'm not going to give an insane idea...
xx_E-G-O_xx: Go on sidi we are listening you
SIDIsquish: What if we ask Collin to add a mod so we can craft plushies?
SIDIsquish: I mean assim loves hugging Andre Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ
Conzercheez: This is actually a great idea
xx_E-G-O_xx: I'm not sure if it's going to work but why not
And luck must be on Andre's side today, because Collin is agreed to do that. However, he warned that it might take a while.
And Collin left the game a few minutes later. It seemed as if the continuous rain had stopped when Collin left the game.

Andre walked aimlessly out of Collin's house, waiting for Assimilation, and as he expected, he appeared before him in less than a minute.
"I'm here Andre"
"Did you call me Andre"

"Andre, did you miss me?"

Andre jumped up and down a few times in response to this answer.
"I was exploring the around, Andre"

"Everything you want Andre"
After saying this, Assimilation teleported the two of them home together. Andre listened as Assimilation talked about the things he had discovered while he was exploring.
Collin had added the mod exactly as Andre had requested. He didn't know why the robot wanted the mod, but he didn't really care.
And he left the game again, saying he had more important things to do that day.
Andre gathered the necessary items for his gift while working on something together with Assimilation. Assimilation would sometimes ask why he needed certain things, but Andre would shrug it off, and he always understood.
And they spend all day outside. As the sun was setting, Assimilation took Andre's hand and led him up a hill. Andre didn't quite understand what was happening, but he trusted Assimilation, he always will.
They kept walking until they reached the very top, where the view was most beautiful, and came across a picnic table made of cherry wood.
In Andre's opinion, the building was really beautiful! Assimilation, after escaping from the Admins, realized he loved exploring and building things.
"I was working on it for a while Andre."

"I'm glad that you loved it"
Assimilation seated Andre in a chair, then sat down himself. The view from here was truly beautiful, and it was nice that Collin wasn't in the world.
SIDIsquish: It's so cute...
SOUPBEGONE31: When are we going to give the gift?
xx_E-G-O_xx: Let's wait until the right time
SOUPBEGONE31: Alright
The two sat in silence for a while. Andre was thinking about when he should give the gift.

"Yes Andre?"
Andre, though not entirely sure, managed to give the gift to Assimilation. Assimilation, however, seemed a little confused.
"Andre?"

< AndreW2002 > Collin said, for someone special
"Andre.."
The robot was a little worried; what if Assimilation didn't like the gift?

But unexpectedly, he was suddenly embraced by the other. Andre suddenly froze at the hug but finally he buried his head in the other's shoulder.
"Thank you Andre"
Assimilation and Andre remained like that for a while. But then Assimilation lifted Andre's head from his shoulder.
"Andre, can i give you something as return Andre?"
Andre nodded in the sense of yes. Assimilation doubted for a while, but finally approached Andre and kissed him.
