Work Text:
She bleeds an excessive amount from her nose. She yelps in pain as she stepped back from him, a smile plastered on his face after such a cruel, violent, act. She huffs and sniffs, inhaling the scent of blood on her nose. “Lambda…?” she quietly wonders.
He pants in frustration, surprised by what he did as well… His eyes widened as he realized what he had done to his dear friend.
Both of them got into fights, but much more recently, they both had been in massive disagreements, and Lambda wasn’t particularly fond of Sayaka being persistent in her plans and ideas, and pushing him away in the process.
Sayaka on the other hand, becomes more and more annoyed by him as he becomes more dependent and clinging on to her. She wondered multiple times to simply ignore him, but she never found the courage to do so. Because… Why would she? She still needs him. Who would take care of her if he was gone?
“Why can’t you pay attention to me?” He asks, lowering his fist down; silently contemplating what he had done. Simultaneously, Sayaka let out a sharp inhale, the pain seeping into her nose bridge, clutching near her eye where he had hit her. “I would have preferred you asking me that instead of punching… me— ugh!” She grunts from the pain.
Then, she let out a sniffle.
It was easy to forget Sayaka doesn’t have much of a pain tolerance.
She quietly squeals before starting to cry from the sharp pain, and Lambda instantly felt horrible. Seeing the sight of Sayaka crying, all while knowing it was his fault made a lump go to his throat, weighing it down.
“Why’d you… have to do that…?” She wipes her eye slowly, revealing a bruise starting to form around it. She winces in pain; a simple touch could already make it sting.
“I… I'm sorry…” He said, well— albeit quiet like a mutter. “I couldn’t…” He couldn’t say he couldn’t stop himself.
His words felt like it was at the tip of his tongue; that he wanted to admit that he had been longing to do that to her for a while.
He is not a violent person, especially to Sayaka. He has respect for everyone and himself to not hurt anyone at all. But… just for today, he let his thoughts win over, and hurt Sayaka. Hurt the person he loved the most. At most, he felt guilt and shame, but—
And he couldn’t have felt happier.
Lambda stepped closer to her, his hands making its way to her cheek as he held it by the thumb. He strokes it gently while wiping away the tears in her eyes.
She winces again, feeling a sharp pain enveloping the soft and warm feeling of Lambda’s hand. “I didn't mean to hurt you,” he calmly says as he held her face ever so gently—
“I truly didnt.” his tone reeks of regret, his warm hands still latched onto her face like a sharp, yet gentle vice.
He wipes away another tear from her eye, before feeling her lips against his. He kisses her in a soft, wholesome way; as if pretending what had just happened didn't happen at all.
Sayaka did not attempt to back away from him. She also craved his touch in a certain way, but she realises she longs for him differently than he does for her. Nevertheless, she closes her eyes and savours the kiss.
Yet she doesn't reciprocate back, as if to punish him from hurting her.
She knows how to be cruel; how to make a kiss feel bitter rather than sweet, how to make him frustrated.
She looks over at the distance over his shoulder instead of focusing on his lips against hers. Tasting the same bitterness she put in the kiss.
She held him behind, just right at his shoulder blades, rocking him slightly in a mild, forbearing way.
She hums in a teasingly cruel manner, fluttering her eyes closed as she continues with the motion.
He slowly pulls back, silently huffs as he realises she didn't reciprocate at all. His lips hovered right on hers, and that's when he saw—
She was still crying from pain.
