If you’ve ever met Mary Jane Watson, you’d probably think of a couple words to describe her. Desperate, persistent? Perhaps a lost cause? Because, well, she’s still thinking about Peter despite having been broken up for months now.
He’s had more flings since then than friends she’s ever made.
She wasn’t sure if he’s gotten over her, but she can only assume. It’s hard to try and get that to her head, their relationship has lasted years. Did she do anything wrong? Was it her fault?
Poor Mary Jane. She really is a lost cause.
The fact she’s on the floor desperately collecting scraps of him, trying to build an image of whatever they would’ve been on a canvas.
Something she’s also been thinking about, yearning to get back as much as she did for him..
Color.
A couple years ago, when they were still together, Peter introduced the idea of color to their world. A cube adorned with squares of different colors. He called it the six-faced rotating combination puzzle. One of the cubes read “Rubik’s” though.
It may have been the most beautiful thing she’s ever seen. While Peter saw it as an opportunity to educate, Mary Jane took it as an opportunity to create. Desperately trying to recreate the feelings she’d felt seeing all the different colors turn around in this cube, everything came out as a shade of gray.
So… why doesn’t she try and build a portal to get even more colors from different dimensions…?
