Guardian Angel of Amity Park

Chapter 1: The Flare of Justice: The Keeper of Amity Park

Chapter Text

The pain hadn't been as cold as Danny had expected. When he pressed that button inside his parents' faulty portal, he wasn't just hit with ectoplasmic energy. The portal had opened to a different frequency, a pure vibration that didn't belong to the Phantom Zone.
As his atoms were torn apart, a blinding white light rewrote his DNA. Danny didn't die, but he didn't become a monster either. He became a celestial anomaly.
The Training in the Sky
Danny awoke on a solid cloud, surrounded by gold and marble architecture. Before him, a man with an LED mask and an electric guitar stared at him, while a winged woman with gray hair held the hilt of a sword.
"Well, look at this, Lute," the man croaked, his voice distorted by a synthesizer. "A little brat just fell in my yard. And he doesn't smell like a sinner."
"He's a hybrid, Adam," Lute replied, examining Danny with a cold gaze. "Half human, half... celestial. He's a one-of-a-kind."
Adam laughed, plucking a string on his guitar. "Half angel? Fantastic! And he's from that haunted dump called Amity Park. You know what, kid? I like you. You look like you need to learn how to kick dead people's asses."
The Mission: Protect the Threshold
Under Adam's brutal guidance and Lute's iron discipline, Danny learned that ghosts weren't just "troublesome spirits," but violations of the natural order. Adam taught him to channel his power not into simple green beams, but into celestial flames capable of purifying ectoplasm.
"Listen carefully, brat," Adam said during a training session, as Danny struggled to catch his breath. "Your city is a hole in the wall between worlds. Those green things coming out of the portal? They're garbage. Your job isn't to make conversation. It's to kick them back, or obliterate them if they get too annoying."
Lute handed him a weapon forged from angelic steel, adapted to his new nature: a spear that could transform into pure energy. "Show no mercy, Danny. If you fail, the border crumbles. Amity Park is under your protection... and under Heaven's judgment."

The portal shuddered, emitting a hum that was no longer acid green, but pure white. Danny slowly emerged. He was no longer wearing his parents' Kevlar suit; now he wore a sort of lightweight armor made of white and gold metal, with a blue scarf that looked like it was made of nebulae. Behind his back, two wings of solid light folded with a metallic rustle.
"Danny?" Sam murmured, taking a step forward, his eyes wide behind the lenses of his dark glasses. "What... what happened to you? You look like a living light bulb."
Danny landed, his feet barely touching the dirt basement floor. "It's complicated. The portal didn't turn me into a ghost. It sent me... Somewhere else. To Heaven. Or something."
Tucker approached, pulling out his PDA to scan his friend. The sensors went haywire, emitting an angelic sound instead of the usual beep. "Dude, your energy signature is off the charts! But wait... did you say Heaven? Like, the one with the clouds and the choirs?"
"Pretty much," Danny replied, scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment. "It's full of rules, but there's this guy Adam. He claims to be the 'First Man.' He's the one who sent me back as the official Keeper of Amity Park. He's training me along with his underling, Lute."
Tucker paused, holding up a finger. "Wait, wait. Adam? The First Man? The one from Eden?" Danny nodded. Tucker then narrowed his eyes, struck by existential doubt. "And tell me... is he black?"
Danny was silent for a moment, staring at the ceiling. "Honestly, Tuck? I have no idea. He always wears that LED mask with the horns. I've never seen his face. He spends the whole time playing electric guitar and telling me how cool he is."
"Typical of men in power," Sam commented, crossing his arms, but his gaze was fixed on the sword Danny wore at his hip. "And this Lute? What's she like? I hope she's not one of those blondes all smiles and harps."
"Not at all," Danny replied with a shiver. "She's... intense. She's got gray hair, gray wings, and a temper that makes Skulker look like a Golden Retriever puppy. She's a tough cookie, Sam. She made me run around for three hours under a hail of golden spears because I 'hesitated' to hit a target." Danny lowered his voice. "She's definitely out of her mind, but she knows her stuff. Adam calls her his 'ruthless right-hand woman.'"

Sam smiled for the first time, a glint of macabre admiration in his eyes. "Crazy and heartless? I like it already. Maybe Heaven isn't as boring as I thought."

Just then, Danny's halo—a ring of blue light floating above his head—emitted a pager-like sound. Adam's distorted voice rang through the air.

"Hey there, Snotlout! Get your ass moving! Lute says there's a ghost with a box or something busting balls downtown. Go over there and show him how shiny that angel iron is! And don't let him beat you, or I'll tell everyone you cry watching cartoons!"

Danny sighed, looking at his friends. "I have to go. Duty calls."

"Go, Guardian Angel," Tucker said, going back to fiddling with his PDA. "But if you see Adam without a mask, check out the skin thing! It's for science, Danny!"
