“Pathetic. All of those years traipsing around after our last battle really have softened you up. Isn’t that right, Toshinori?” Taunted the notorious All For One as he towered over the symbol of peace who was knocked unconscious. Izuku’s breath caught in his throat as he sat petrified on the ruff sand that filled Dagobah beach, back strapped to the outrageously large pile of rubbish that he’d come to shift only moments ago. Why hadn’t he come sooner.
It was as though the villain could smell the scent of despair as his head cocked to the side and eyes bored into the scrawny fourteen year old’s head.
“Oh? Aren’t you going to even try to ‘save’ your mentor? Stay there any longer and you’ll get a back cramp.”
The thousand year old warned, chuckling as he did so.
An ember began to burn, why was he so useless, he had to do something. Lifting off of the ground, he began to sprint, his mind only had one objective, ‘buy some time!’
Barreling into All For One’s side hurt more than anticipated as the young boy felt something as hard as steel lodge into his side, the villain didn’t move an inch.
Chuckling heartily, the man clutched the high schooler by the neck and grasping tightly, enough to choke him but not snap his neck off completely.
“My, my, not using your quirk? Oh wait, you would need a quirk to be able to use it, Midoriya Izuku. I did do my homework you know. Believe it or not, not many go to such a polluted beach at five o’clock every morning ?” Something snapped in Midoriya.
His vision went black as immense anger and a thirst of justice for his mentor bubbled within him.
Clawing at the devil’s hand broke his hold, not due to pain, but instead amusement. Crashing into a pile of waste, the aspiring hero’s oesophagus stung. Just as Midoriya moved to lunge towards the villain, he felt a agonising stabbing pain shoot from the back of his thigh, it coursed through his body.
Fear followed by curiosity flooded the boys mind as he turned to see something dislodge itself from his thigh.
A rustic golden arrow, glistening in the early morning sun fell back into the rubbish behind him. The hero’s opponents footsteps crunching in the sand advanced toward him.

It was as though the teen was zoned, wind blew through his thick curls and his eyes stung as he tried to open them.
Before him stood a humanoid like being, its body a shade of gold and head shaped as though it was a crown. Its soulless crimson eyes peered knowingly at Izuku however it seemed like they were looking through him.
Before the boy could spout his inquiries the being spoke, voice clear and reverberating.
“Who should I dispose of, my user?”
The apprentice of All Might needed to hear no more as his head acted out of instinct, he cocked his head towards All for one walking less than two metres behind him.
In less than a second, a dominant aura surrounded Midoriya, the terrain turned menacing and sky was painted an amethyst hue. The villain didn’t seem to care, instead he outstretched a hand coursing with an oxblood residue encasing his palms.
“A late bloomer? No matter, I do love acquiring new abilities, it’s rather exhilarating. Maybe you have a strength meta-ability. You really do need it.”
‘Didn’t the number one villain see the unnerving entity stood before him?’
Izuku’s eyes squeezed shut, anticipating another blow. He hadn’t even thought of the being’s presence being a quirk, though he did feel a blazing warmth within him.
‘Remain calm.’ a voice in his brain commanded.
The blow never came. Instead the sinner’s lax demeanour shifted into a fascinated and frustrated one. The soul reached out and touched All for one’s palm, preventing him from touching Izuku.
“Why can’t I take-?”
It was like a badly recorded film, multiple All For Ones appeared behind him, moving as he did.
“What is this?!” The infamous criminal demanded, immense discomfort imminent in his tone as it echoed.
“This is Requiem.”
The supernatural thing began unleashing a relentless wave of blows at the opponent.
Izuku couldn’t help but feel a bit of joy at the sight- It’s not as though it wasn’t deserved.
After it was done, the miscreant seemed to disappear, confusion struck Izuku.
‘Worry not, justice has been delivered’ rung in his mind and the entity seemed to faze into him.
‘Wait-was that me?! Do I have a quirk? But All for one couldn’t take it?’ Perceived the hero as he charged towards Toshinori, he needed help asap. The sky began to return to its peachy colour and serenity flooded the beach once more.
Japan’s threat had been removed.

3 days later
Izuku had just returned from visiting his mentor in hospital. Greeting his mother, he starfished onto his bed, exhausted and worried.
Yagi’s broken ribs and fractured limbs had put the young Midoriya’s intensive training in hold however he didn’t mind. At least his mentor was out of harm’s way and, more or less, in one piece.
The teen’s attempts at staying overnight had been squashed after he was scolded by the medical staff, though, it did earn him an earnest laugh from All Might which caused the boy to feel a sense of fulfilment.
He told Yagi that All For One retreated instead of fighting him from fulfilment in what he did do. It was to give the man some peace of mind but he couldn’t help but feel guilt.
Lying was wrong but how could he explain such balderdash when he couldn’t even comprehend it himself.
What would the other villains of the world turn to, more violence, or would they finally give up villainy and become better individuals
Relaxing wasn’t an option as he couldn’t even sleep anymore.
Did he really do the right thing?
Each night he was greeted with a nightmare, although he couldn’t remember what it was about once he awoke, a pained shriek pricked his ears and the eerie feeling that surrounded him couldn’t be repressed no matter how hard he tried.
