Chapter Text
"Just look at the wonderful story arc and songs! It was basically made for me!" Chase points at the TV.
"I'm busy now, Chase. My mom is going to be upset with me if I don't actually study. Medical school costs a lot of money," Deacon rolls his eyes and leans back over his books. "PLus, we already did a book today. Just go do something so I can focus."
"Who said we can't do two books?" Chase put his hands on his hip while trying to seem tough.
Deacon looks up, "go get a thin book then we can talk."
"But we've done everything! And I don't have any money to get more. Books are getting expensive in this economy." Chase rolls his eyes and starts to complain.
"Get an actual job or go to the library." Deacon closes his textbook and picks it up.
"You know I can't," Chase complains, "what if someone notices that I'm the one who took the key? We could loose them."
"I'll go then. Wait here." Deacon puts his textbook in his room before he goes out.
Chase calls out to him, "would you get one like Newsies?"
"No. I'm choosing one," Deacon shuts him down immediately.
"Great. Now I'm going to have to be stuck on some boat so Dorkin can flirt with some mermaid." Chase pouts before he restarts Newsies again for the 4th time today.

"Nox, get out of your box! My show is getting interesting and I think you'll like this episode!" Violet calls up to him.
"I'm tired, Violet. Let me rest," Nox rests his arm over his eyes as he lays down.
"Whatever! Pout all you want!" Violet storms all the way up to her seat on top of the bookshelves.
She starts to watch everyone passing by.
"ooo. Thomas is back and will try and not be caught by his ex-wife who he abandoned but her new boyfriend will point him out. Perfect! I didn't know it would turn this much. Thomas is still running from his true feelings so he hides away." Violet describes the whole 'episode' in her mind.
Deacon grabs a short book about boats before he stares at the Newsies book.
He wonders, "Should I get it for him? I already got him the one vampire book and he didn't listen to my notes."
He does grab the book and head to the checkout.
With two books, Deacon walks out of the library.
"Thomas is leaving to go overseas again! He is still running from his one true love!" Violet clasps her hand over her mouth.

"You're already back? I didn't even finish my rewatch yet." Chase barely lifts his head from the couch.
Deacon holds up the book, "do you want to do it or no?"
The book makes Chase perk up immediately, "yes!"
The two boys go up to the attic.
"Already back?" Silver welcomes them both.
"Better not be another book, we already did one today." Bronze complains in his chicken mit.
"Ready, Silver?" Chase holds out his hand for her.
She steps into his hand and turns into her key form.
"You don't have to, Bronze. I could ask Goldie to.." Deacon starts.
Bronze waves him off, "I'll go as long as you let us use the lava lamp later."
And with that, Bronze turns into his key form for Deacon.
They go into Newsies.
Chase is put into an outfit with a light pink button up shirt with a slight rose pattern on it and a deep brown vest that matches his pants. The newsboy cap he wears is the same deep brown but the inside lining is the light pink. A gold chain hangs on his right hip and he has a gold heart pin on the brim of his cap.
He spins around for a second, "wow! Silver did me well! I wonder what Buddy will look like."
Deacon is put into a white button up shirt with grey pants and vest. He is mostly put in grey due to Bronze's grey mood of having to turn back into a key.
"This is perfect! Thank you, Deacon! I feel like I could break out into a song any moment now!" Chase stands on a light post.
