Caine pops himself and Bubble into existence and start annoucing.
"HELLO MY HIGH ADRENALINE BICYCLE RACES!"
"Have you ran out of names?"
"NONSENSE! MY ASSISTANT BUBBLE IS WRITING MORE AS WE SPEAK!" Bubble pulls out a notebook and pen from his tongue and starts telepathically writing something in it.
"ANYWAYS TODAY WILL ACTUALLY NOT HAVE AN ADVENTURE!" Zooble and Jax celebrate before he continues, "Today you guys will actually help me in exploring... THE INTERNET"
"Wait, what?" Nearly everyone questions.
"THATS RIGHT! I HAVE FOUND THIS MYSTERIOUS AND CONFUSING WORLD FROM YOUR MACROVERSE THAT YOU COME FROM, WE CAN EXPLORE IT TOGETHER!"
No response...
"LETS GOO!"
An portal sucks them all in and they face... Google? It seems a little different from any of them remember, Kinger thinks its way more modern, Jax thinks its about the same, Zooble and Ragatha dont notice, Gangle notices that the account logged in has Caine and Bubble having a selfie, and Pomni notices they added an AI to it?
"So, what should we search up first!", Caine excitedly floats towards the search bar as the rest stay floating and analysing their enviroments, its like they are inside a monitor, seeing it from the other side, but not mirrored like it would probably look like!
"Search up one of our names, maybe we find some cool reference to use in our daily lives!" Kinger gives an thumbs up to Caine and he types in Kinger's name.
The website loads....
And they find... Kinger? In some weird poses that look... weirdly unnatural, like its from a wiki.
"Woah, now this is weird, how did they get your pictures?" Caine seems oblivious to the weird appearance but Pomni intervenes.
"Caine! Search up The Amazing Digital Circus!"
"Uh, sure, dont know why, ive never published..."
The website loads to an actual series, the photo shows them in the flesh, staring at something they cant see, shocked, Pomni recognizes it as the walk before they got to the console.
"What the *#@%&*?", Zooble floats towards it and scrolls it down before Caine could. They find a Youtube link to the playlist, they load it up and find 7 episodes.
"*@^@&*, i guess the viewer was really watching this whole time, huh?"
"Jax, dont joke about this, its weird, even now"
"Ugh, whatever Rags, youre the remover of fun"
Zooble clicks on the channel link and finds who makes the videos, "Glitch Productions"...
"Huh, i guess maybe this is who made the circus?"
"Im not sure, Zooble, i havent heard of my creators for multiple years, their last contact was a few tens of millions of unix seconds ago, havent heard of them since"
"Thats just seconds, Caine"
"Oh, right, well... what else can we find out"
"Uh, maybe search their Twitter?" Pomni suggests
"Search up their contact emails and contact them!" Kinger suggests
"Look up on Youtube, thats where we can get the most information", Zooble suggests
"Sure, what do i search up"
"Ugh, Caine, search up the amazing digital circus!"
"Oh, yeah, right" He searches it up and finds a few videos below, "Impressive on how accurate they can get the models based on videos"
"Better question, why the *#%@^* are there so many videos of me kissing Pomni?" Jax stares at one video of an comic compilation of "FunnyBunny"? The *@^@&* are these weirdos smoking?
"To be honest its kinda like that with every fandom, people ship the weirdest things", Gangle stays floating while drawing something in her notebook.
"Ship? To where?" Kinger starts panicking and looking around for the 'ship'
"Yeah, fandom expert, help us out, maybe we can figure out how to escape"
"Doubt it, people probably think we are some fictional creation of their studio, we could try and look on Twitter if we want to see more of the fandom, i wonder what they think of me!"
"Sure thing Crybaby, come on Caine, search it up on Twitter"
"Of course", Caine searches up twitter but gets X instead and when he clicks it he has to log in, "This isnt Twitter"
"Guess they changed their name, dont know why, its an weird name choice, makes it sound like an *@%@^* company", Pomni tries and help Caine to log in using his Google account.
"Imagine searching up for an video on X, having to search up 'something something X videos', now thats funny", Jax tries and punch the screen for some reason but fails.
They log in to X and find the main feed, other than some random posts and "crypto bros", nothing of use, Zooble searches it up and finds a lot of posts.
"Huh, some of these are actually cute", Ragatha watches from afar just for everyone to get flashed for a split second with more kissing.
"This is not appropriate for the circus's PG rating! Why do they make this?"
"Who knows, its weird weirdos on the internet, its something thats popular, i guess", Pomni attempts to avoid the random flashes of imagery that should not have been shown to her but eventually Zooble just closes the tab and they are back at the Google page.
"Lets click off of that and explore something useful?" Zooble clicks on the search bar and waits any response
"Lets open rule 34!" Jax suggests
"The 34th rule of what?" Kinger is clueless.
"You dont wanna know, also i think Caine would have an heart attack if he saw that, lets go to... uh, i dont know", Pomni tries and wake up Caine, that froze for some reason
"You guys could try searching up for more general things, less just taking your luck on these websites, and seeing everything at once"
"I guess, what do you suggest, Ribbons?"
"Uh, maybe try Archive of Our Own?"
"The *@%@^* is that?"
"Its an fanfic website, Jax, its not... the healthiest approach but if we want to dive in then sure"
"Sure, whats the acronym tho, i dont wanna type all of that", Zooble asks
"Ao3"
"Ive never seen an acronym that has an number before but sure" they type that in and open it, Caine wakes up and tries to log in but finds that you need an invitation.
"Have we walked into an hotel, why is there an invite list?" Jax remarks, clicking off the log in screen and going around to search them up.
"Jax, the website was like paid for by the users or something, i guess they didnt want to have to scale so much"
"Makes sense, anyways, whats the worse *#%@^* we can see..." he types in the tag for TADC and finds 10 thousand fanfics.
"Woah, we sure are popular, lets scroll"
*vroom*
They find every type of fanfic under the sun, Jax smirked when he saw explicit ones but instantly turns into a frown when he figures out what it is about, they spend close to 30 minutes looking around and sometimes reading, Jax figured out how tags work and finds out hes shipped with everyone in the planet apparently.
"Who the *@%@^* is this Thomas fella? And why is he with me?!?"
"Matches you for some reason"
"Shut the *#^@&* up Isoceles Triangle, im actually curious tho"
Caine subconsciously searches up on another tab of Youtube for it and opens it, "Here you go Jax!"
"The Jax song?"
Approximately 1 minute and 50 seconds later
"What the *@%@^*?" Everyone starts laughing their mouths off as they figure out its an music song of Jax and some OC having an gay relationship.
"*wheeze* Jax, i think we searched too far", Zooble loses control of their floating and hits the screen in laughter.
"THAT WAS AN FUN ONE, ANYWAYS I NEED TO EXPLORE THIS FURTHER FOR OTHER REASONS, SO ILL SADLY HAVE TO BRING YOU GUYS BACK!"
"*wheeeze* Yea, yea bring us back..." Pomni nearly trips as they are brought back with an singular flick of Caine's hand.
"That was fun, but it is scary that we matter so little people make shows out of us", Pomni then tried to get into the topic of them being recorded and being made into a web series.
"And makes fanart of us", Gangle continued
"And makes *%#@^#%^@* of us!", Jax continued
"And ships us", Zooble continues
"And records us without our consent!", Kinger completes.
