Soft rhythmic taps against fake marble countertops was the only sound coming from GDs restroom
Everfree was coming over for the night, which means his defenses must be up.
Don’t get GD wrong, he doesn’t fears Everfree would hurt him, they don’t seem strong enough to even leave a scratch, GD was scared of hurting Everfree
The cryptid lets out a groan as the back of his head hits the wall behind him
He’s been examining himself for hours, trying to figure out what could be done..
GD was.. how could one describe it.. a monster? He had the claws, he had sharp canines, and he could -sometimes- make animalistic noises. That basically fits the entire idea of a monster, no?
Claws weren’t ideal to have if you wish to have a love one, GD learned, thanks to Evils constant complains Every time he tried to embrace the demon. To say it hurt GDs heart would be an understatement
“okay, it’s fine, you can go one night from not touching him… even though you need it”
GD let out a low hum as he cringed from speaking out loud. He really need to stop doing that
When GD opens his eyes again, he starts to stare into the mirror again, going down a mental check list of how to avoid hurting, or scaring, Everfree
-Teeth? Easy, he’d smile with his mouth clothes if needed
-His.. weird head wings? there’s not much he can do to hide them, so he’ll just.. try and not draw attention to them (A/N: jst trust me. It’s canon he has head wings. Don’t ask the gd mod jst TRUST)
-The noises? he’ll just be extra cautious!
Now the only thing his own solution for his claws is to just.. never touch Everfree.. which isn’t ideal. He should really file his claws (tf you mean it’s called stropping for cats ???)
GD let out a low growl. His surroundings seemed to turn darker, before a load banging noise could be heard, which caused GD to flinch
The cryptid took in a sharp inhale before slowly exhaling before he left his restroom,

GD moved around the room in an almost trance like state, amusing Everfree greatly
He was moving in and out of the room, his claws tapping on any surface they could reach
Everfree let out a sigh, as they shook his head slowly “GD, Darling,” GDs head snapped over to Everfree “You should sit, rest for a moment..”
GD is quiet for a moment before shaking his head “I gotta.. I need to make sure you’re.. you’re comfortable! Y’know? You’re my guest-“ GD was cut off by Everfree pointing their cane at him
“Sit.” GD sighs but he does sit down near Everfree. Not close, but not far either
Everfree smiles softly, as they moved closer to GD to rest his head on the cryptids shoulder
GD tenses for a moment before slowly relaxing,
“Do you, wanna watch TV-?”
“I am fine like this” Everfrees voice was soft, almost sounding comfortable
GD stares down at Everfree.. not a lot of people are.. willingly choosing to relax near him.
For years all he’s ever seen was how he was scary, a freak.. hell, there’s an entire organization dedicated to killing his own kind!
That organization, what’s it called? Rcam? Whatever it’s called, Evil worked for them. Does he still work for him? GD doesn’t know, and honestly? He’d rather never find out.
The two of them didn’t end on.. good terms, so to speak. A very loud, and very long argument happened, some things were said, some things are better off forgotten.
“GD?” Everfrees voice snapped GD out of his thoughts “You’re scratching at your arm”
GDs eye widened as he quickly looked down at his arm, which indeed was bleeding due to his claws. He lets out a quiet curse as he stands up
“I’ll- I’ll be right back- fuck” GD mutters as he hurries to the restroom
Everfrees gaze follows GD, after a moment, he sighs as he reaches for his cane as he stands up

GD grumbled as he -attempted- cleaning his cuts
Though thanks to his gods forsaken claws, that was incredibly difficult. It seems as though he just keeps giving himself more cuts!
GD growls as he grips his forearm tightly, which just made he let out a yelp of pain.
The cryptid puts down the rag with a huff as he looks up at the ceiling.. he grips the sinks edge tightly, trying his best not to cry, not to tear up.
He feels like a monster, no, he is a monster. That’s clear, from the way robloxians stare at him to the way the fucking government won’t stop the rcam.. unless they’re part of the government too,
Sometimes it’s best for GD to not think of that, to ignore what’s going on outside.. being oblivious is better than knowing the horrors.
“GD?” The man lets out a yelp at the sudden voice quickly turning to his guest
“Everfree-! I- uh.. what’re.. why’re you… um- hi, hello..” GD tried his best to ignore the tears falling down his cheeks,
Everfree is quiet for a moment before taking a step closer to GD, reaching up to wipe away the tears “What’s wrong, honey?”
Everfrees soft voice -for some reason- causes GD to break down as he wraps his arms around Everfree, trying his best not to sob
Everfree stills for a moment before letting out a sigh, “How about we bandage your arm before you start to cuddle me, yeah?”
GD nods slowly as he hesitantly lets go of his love so his arm can be properly cleaned and bandaged.

GD rubs his head into Everfrees neck, his arm was now bandaged, and they returned to the living room.
Some sort of rerun was playing on the tv, neither of the creatures were listening or watching, as the were too busy focusing on each other
“Do you feel better now?” Everfree said softly, their eyes were half lidded as he looked at GD, who simply nods
Everfree smiles softly as he presses a soft kiss to GDs forehead
“Can you explain why you started crying now, pretty?” Everfree gently touched the wings on GDs head, which made them twitch under their touch
“It’s.. nothing” GD closed his eyes as he focused on Everfrees touch
Everfree frowns at that “You cried, hon, that’s not nothing..”
The cryptids eyes fluttered open as he stared at Everfree before sighing
“It’s just… yknow.. claws n stuff, kinda uh.. freaked out about it” GD shrugs
Everfree lets out a low hum, their hand moving to mess with GDs hair
“Freaked out?”
GD nods slowly. “Yknow, they’re creepy..” that caused Everfree to sigh
The deer grabbed one of GDs hands to press a gentle kiss to the knuckles
“I may not know what type of things go through your head, darling,” Everfree looks up at GD “And you may not know what’s going on in mine.. but trust me when I say your claws are not.. creepy”
GD stays quiet as he looks down at Everfree, his claws twitching in Everfrees hold,
“Infact, I find your claws unique.. intresting” Everfree pressed another kiss to GDs knuckles
“Everfree, please-“ GD blushed. Whether that was from Everfrees words or from the embarrassment that he need to be comforted on his claws shall be remained unnamed. “You don’t need to say all that-“
Everfree hums as they let go of GDs claws “I won’t need too if you just accept the truth,”
GD lets out a quiet huff before he gently kissed Everfrees cheek
“I’m not made of glass GD, no need to be so gentle..” The deer wrapped an arm around GDs neck, pulling him closer
“I just don’t wanna scare you away,” like evil was left unsaid..
“You won’t scare me, I can promise you that much.. okay?” Everfree chuckles softly
GD sighs as he nods once.
The two stares into each others eyes for a while before they both started to lean in for a kiss
Though before their lips could touch, a crash could be heard from a room upstairs- before a distant yet loud ‘sorry!’ was heard..
GDs entire face flushed as he lets out a sigh, while Everfree let out a breathy laugh
“I forgot 7331 was here.. I should.. ah.. check up on them,” GD mutters as he moves to get up from ther position
“Yes, I suppose so,” Everfree smiles as they watch GD move to go check up on 7332
They shake their head slowly as he stares up at the stealing..
Everfree will have to remind themselves later to try and comfort GD better over his monstrous features…
