Work Text:
This is a tale of a dark-haired man with eye bags riddled with desperation. A kind-eyed doctor and a slash to his throat.
Life, healing, energy, power flowing down the dark-haired man’s pale limbs, roots sinking in and a glint in the dark-haired man’s eyes.
Blood dirtied the dark-haired mans hands. Crimson seeped through the gaps between his fingers as this man took life after life, smile after smile, love after love.
This man- no, not man, monster took enough lives to create an army large enough to defend the entire world.
But this was also the tale of a little giant and a blade as red as an ember. A flash light, a sight so terrifying it was like looking directly at the sun. A hunter who tried to strangle the beast. The beast got away, whimpering and limping.
Yet the beast was fruitful and he multiplied. A claw at the throat, a splatter of blood, screaming – another monster.
Yet the beasts were not allowed to roam freely. Another strike to the throat, but this time from colorful blades. Fire, water, thunder, wind, and earth.
The world kept on spinning and spinning. A promise, a pink blade, pale petals turning crimson, the rising sun, a broken promise.
Another promise was made. But this promise was for revenge.
But the kind-eyed doctor also swore an oath
At present, there was pure white snow on a mountain. Air so cold it nipped the skin. A boy with bright orange hair carrying his lifeless-looking sister on his back.
As the boy ran, the pure white snow got tainted with crimson.
“Please, God. Please, please, please, let it make it in time. Don’t take my sister away from me”
Lucky for him, God was merciful and the orange-haired boy’s sister opened her eyes. But her eyes were bloodshot and her pupils were like slits.
There was also a boy with sleek black hair and eyes like the ocean who left just as suddenly as he came.
Another promise was made, and I pray this one stays unbroken.
