Project Brandon stood in the corner of Ozolog's messy room, an exact five foot four inches. Just a few inches shorter than Ozolog himself.
His face-plates were a smooth beige. Eyes and mouth were painted to appear as though they were closed. His synthetic blonde hair covered his face anyway, in that bob Ozolog wasn't sure how to cut. The original Roblox avatar didn't have hair, but he remembered Brandon saying he wanted to buy blonde hair if he ever got robux.
His clothes matched his Roblox ones—the ones he wore in the past, not those static, unnerving black robes his avatar wears now. He wore a black and yellow hoodie with that unidentifiable chain logo. Ozolog had personally commissioned it for a hundred fifty bucks. Was it kind of embarrassing to ask for a hoodie using a Roblox reference? Yes. Worth it? Only naturally.
Brandon also wore black jeans, some Ozolog ordered online. Two belts overlapped, revealing his square hip. The doll was thin to save plastic.
And finally, the most true-to-character addition, was the green cross along Brandon's neck. A combination of whatever Brandon had with the color green and his religion. Ozolog reached over to hold it over his fingers. He'd sculpted it out of clay and painted it himself.
The shell was created. Project Brandon, his magnum opus, had been in the making for a year now. And if you count how long Ozolog had been daydreaming about this, a little over five. He'd gone so long without Brandon. And soon, Brandon would come back to him and answer. Even if it was taking hell of a long time. He had to, surely.
Ozolog looked to his clothes on the floor, the blue prints and the screws and the copper bits.
What was he even doing with his life?

Yes, a lot of people have gotten that impression. The Sundowners cult (link) is very real and has gotten its rightful police attention. If only they had acted sooner and saved my friend.

Anyway, I'm doing a lot better. Still miss Brandon since most of my childhood was spent with him. I'm currently in college, majoring in computer science. I intend to specialize in robotics. Let's see how it goes. :)

All of Brandon's family left him when he needed them most. His father especially hurt him, and if that fucker's alive he should be scared of me. They're pretty irrelevant.
It seems you askers don't know what friends do for each other, and you know, I understand that as a lonely person myself. But I'm doing what's right, for me and Brandon. So I'll be ignoring my ask box for now. Brandon was shy to criticism so I don't want this scaring him off.

Title: The Makings of Brandon

I've been thinking about making this since around fourteen, as I've always been interesting in coding and such. The first seeds of this idea weren't always fully fledged robotics. Inspired by the game Brandon left us with, I indulged in making Roblox games where Brandon could talk to me. I'd leave those games behind till I forgot the dialogue I coded into them, then I'd play it and feel like I was talking to him again, except we'd be having different conversations. I think the saddest thing about dead people is that they can't surprise you anymore.

He has arm joints, no leg joints because I couldn't figure out how to make him stand or walk. It's a real problem. Also, admittedly, he doesn't have much capabilities outside of waving hands. If Brandon requests any appendages, I'll figure it out. Just a matter of time

My life sucks because I have no friends, no love life, and waking up in the morning to a shit ass world is Quite Painful. To be truthful, nothing about him is special. He's just a normal guy. All of us are, so that's not a bad thing.
It's the memories, how I felt around him. How is it possible someone you've known as a kid can just die like that? How is it any fair? Am I supposed to remember him longer than I've known him?
And that got me thinking deeper than I ever should've as a kid. Now everything seems bleak. It's only fair Brandon answers or just comes back so I can feel normal again. I've said this before, haven't I? I just keep circling back to it…
