20XX, LOST TEMPLE, DURING THE SCORCH.
it was a scorching scene, everyone run for their live, some survived, some didn’t, one of them is a young inphernal, Dollmaker, she also tries to flee from the scorch, but it was too severe, every path got blocked, it felt like, there is no escape.
she forces herself to push through some blocked path, until it was impossible, it’s too heavy, too high, and too much tempature to keep up, she found a river, hoping that will find a new escape path.
she dives in, she swims as she find the exit, however, the scorch is not like most wildfire.
the fire king deity has such powerful fire power, so powerful the water boils and evaporates, so even a small touch, is painful a active volcano.
at first, the river was cold, but it gets warm, but unnaturally hot, it’s like, someone purposely.. boil the river…
it’s not even someone, the scorch is too powerful, her skin starts to feel the burn from boiling river, she panicked, tries to find the exit, but it become too much to handle, her skins starts to grow burn marks, her eyes become too swollen to open, and her lips stays shut as her teeth cracks, it was too painful, way too painful, she eventually able to get out despite all the odds, she suddenly unable to do anything, feeling weak, helpless, and unable to spawn her gear to save herself, she don’t want to create dolls for sacrifice, she want to save herself without a single sacrifice, it was too selfish, she could avoid it if she either only temporally stay inside or just give up and accept fate.
then, a msyterious guy with a staff comes in, he seems like he offer her for.. something…
”will you join our family for your help?”
dollmaker, unable to talk, tries to accept, but she feels weak, she only have 1 eye working, everything else isn’t, the father feels bad, so he gives her a hand, and carry her to the church, as she’s helpless, the cult member take her injured eye, replace with glass eye, then bandages to cover all her burn scars, including her glass eye, after that, she’s now recovered, at least that’s what she thought.
As a graditute, she create dolls for others as their future, she also create her own dolls for her needs, the dolls she made will tell if they will live, die, or others.. she may unable to talk, but she can communicate by her dolls, letting them to talk for her.
but even if she’s now helping others, she starts to wonder, what is her future?
