I’m in your shadow, brother
I was always there, right behind you, standing in your very shadow when it was your turn to shine.
Something I did freely, never wanting to steal your limelight despite all this fights of ours just because we disagreed on something, mostly stupid.
But I always trusted you, trusted in your work, your guidance, during the most darkest of hours, when it was just us, our team, stuck there without a good path to follow.
But it wasn’t just me, we both did that to each other. Letting the other shine. Switching places whenever it was needed. Be that on a mission or just in our private lives.
It worked well all that time, until something broke, between us, nothing fine.
Thankfully, we managed to get it all back again. The trust shared , the shadow and the limelight cared. And right now, no more fights, not really shadows to hide behind.
Just us two, in the limelight, in the sunshine.
