To start over was useless, there was nothing to be done. Why was she stupid enough to think that maybe, she could ease the burden of Madoka, magical girl or not? Waste laid all around her, the city a flat wasteland of evened out rubble, and there in her hands was the grief seed of Madoka Kaname. “Are you going to turn back time again?” said Kyubey, Homura simply zoned it out, suddenly remembering something. Homura put Madoka’s grief seed against her soul gem. Instead of the usual purification of the soul gem, Madoka’s grief seed returned, her body reanimating.
