Chapter Text

JUNE-JULY

The elevator dinged, obviously the elevator opened. STAT was still disliked the elevator, even if she had been there for a year+

She was sick of being there, yet she didn't...exactly have a place to go. All she could exactly go was the elevator, ever since the players destroyed her Sam.

She stopped paying attention, not noticing until the glass creature waved at her, it was faceless besides  a smile with sharp teeth...also made out of glass. They seem like an ABSOLUTE OUTCAST to STAT, since they had one-two many pins on their messagner bag, headphones, spiked collar and spiked bracelets, band shirt she didn't know, and baggy jeans.

Definitely an outcast and a nerd due to the pins.

STAT ignored the new npc, she genuinely was tired of new people, and almost everything. It seemed like the glass thing had got the cue. Good.

A few minutes passed by, players were around the thing, messing around with it. obviously it happened to all of them once they got there. It seemed the creature's name was 'Water Bottle' and it fitted her.

Soon players left again to do the floors, and yet, no other joined the elevator.  Quiet music played, still it was quiet between the two of them.

"Hi! I'm uh...Water Bottle"

STAT glaced at her, long enough to notice she didn't have eyes or a nose. "Please don't talk to me unless you have stuff for survival-!" She said bluntly yet with a fake nice voice and a hint of sarcasm.

Unfortunately Water Bottle didn't know STAT wasn't exactly serious. She pulled out some money, a cup of shin ramen, Dr Pepper, and a little cat trinket that was missing a piece, handing it to STAT.

STAT was slightly shocked, yet she hid it, and took the food and money. She looked at stuff for a moment, she looked back at Water Bottle who was now leaving her alone.

"I'm STAT..." She said quietly.

DECEMBER  29th

There was no sound besides rain, obviously due to the fact Water Bottle lived in a place that rained 24/7

Water Bottle hugged STAT, while she was still shocked, STAT hugged her back, pulling on the shorter glass girl's shirt. She expected some npcs to leave at some point, but out of all people she didn't expect Water Bottle to leave. especially since they were dating, and Water Bottle had a decent place to live. She already argued with her about it, she regretted so, knowing it could be a while until she sees her again.

Water Bottle let go of STAT, and took a step back. "I'm sorry, I couldn't stay," Water Bottle mumbled, "but we can still stay intact  by texting each other!"

Water Bottle grabbed STAT's hands, putting something in it, then she let go, walking off into a bus carrying her bags.

They entered a long distance relationship.

STAT looked in her hands, it was other half of the missing trinket.

Rain poured harder on her, she looked at the treehouse Water Bottle lived in that was more like a big house on a tree. She sighed and walked back into the elevator.

>***<

STAT had walked off the bus, soon to a new hidden home, Water Bottle's home. She wanted to surprise her, despite the fact her texts were unread for a while.

She tried to knock on the door, but it opened. STAT was confused, looking inside, lights were off and it was cold, she walked inside the house. She saw a room with lights in it, likely her bedroom, STAT chuckled remembering how Water Bottle had LED lights in her room.

She trotted to the room, opening the door.

The room was similar to Water Bottle's old room, but more empty. On the floor was a pile of broken glass and water, headphones were ob the ground. The window was broken but it wasn't the same glass. STAT fell to her knees and looked at the broken glass, it was...

Tears fell onto the glass, and once again she had lost someone so dear to her.  She saw nothing on the glass but her sad reflection. A reflection of something she couldn't stop.
