Summary:
Shane Hollander just got crowned King at just the young age of 19. The bodyguard that got assigned to him, Ilya Rozanov, seems to get on his nerve. Especially because the council seems to love Ilya more than they could ever care about Shane.
But little does Shane know that he and Ilya are quite similar. Similar interests and similar grief... similar feelings. Their rivalry becomes heated when they realize that they both seem to care deeply about each other more than they can admit.
(Basically a King/Bodyguard AU of Heated Rivalry)
