Yuuji is scrolling through Tiktok and Pinterest after they just got back from a pretty easy mission fighting a Grade 3 Curse. Yuuji wants to hangout with Nobara and Megumi and he finally decides on a place that Megumi might not like much but would still have fun. Yuuji knows for a fact that Nobara will enjoy the competitive games at the arcade. Yuuji hurries to throw on his clothes; a red hoodie with a black vest over it, with light blue color jeans (baggy of course), a black beanie on and his red converse. Yuuji leaves his dorm and walks down the hallway to Nobara’s room.
Yuuji knocks on the door.
“Yeah, come in.”
Yuuji busts in, “Get up Kugisaki. We’re going somewhere!!” Yuuji exclaimed with a grin spreading wide across his face.
“Yeahhh, no”
"Kugisaki, whyyy”
“Because last time we went somewhere you literally got sick and Megumi and I had to fight a hard a$$ curse while you were sick. Also, after that we had to come back and feed you so that made it worse.”
“But I promise this time it’ll be super funnnn!” Yuuji does his signature puppy dog face. Surprisingly, it worked on Nobara.
“Fine.”
“Yaayy!!” Yuuji waits outside Nobara’s room waiting for her to get dressed, bubbling with excitement.
Nobara steps out; a black skirt with three gold buttons, black classy shoes but not quite heels, white earmuffs, a long black sleeve and a tight white vest over.
“Is Fushiguro coming?”
“Yep!" I just asked you first so you can help me convince him.”
“Of course he is, I don’t know why I asked.”
“Hey! What’s that supposed to mean..?”
Nobara snickers. “Nothing Itadori, come on.”
They reach Megumi’s dorm room. Nobara starts knocking like she’s mad at the door.
“Yeah?”
“Fushiguro open the door, it’s me and Itadori!” Megumi walks over to the door, and Yuuji realizes that Megumi’s footsteps are very soft. Megumi opens the door wearing grey sweats with an oversized t-shirt.
“Why are you guys all dressed up?”
“The fact you think this is dressed up is concerning and we’re going somewhere so...”
“No.”
“Oh Fushiguro, come onnn.” Megumi turns his direction to Yuuji and Megumi looks at Yuuji and he’s whining and begging at Nobara’s side. All of sudden Megumi blinks and both Nobara and Yuuji are in his face doing puppy dog eyes. Megumi genuinely can’t say no to the sight of Yuuji especially when he looks this cute.
“Okay, fine. Gimmie a sec.” Megumi closes his door.
“YAYY” Nobara and Yuuji yell out.
“So Itadori where are we even going?”
“You’ll see. I promise it’s gonna be funn!" The door beside them opens and Megumi steps out.
Megumi has on a blue hoodie on and over that he has on a black puffer jacket, he has his black jeans on that are slightly baggy but not like Yuuji’s, and his low rise black converse. Nobara looks over at Yuuji who looks like he has just seen an angel come into view. Nobara can’t help but chuckle at the sight of Yuuji whose mouth is wide open, eyes are sparkling, and is blushing all over his face and ears. Both Megumi and Yuuji look over at Nobara and suddenly Yuuji’s expressions are gone.
“What’s funny, Kugisaki.” Megumi says.
"Oh nothing. Let’s go, Itadori will lead the way.” Nobara says after acting like she doesn’t have a giant smirk on her face.
They have to take two trains to get to the arcade that Yuuji chose. They start boarding the first train, it’s a little cold outside but not cold enough for them to decide to go home before anyone gets sick. When they boarded the train there weren’t a lot of people, just a few stragglers, they chose a spot near the back of the train. They sat in their ‘designated spots;’ Megumi in the middle, Nobara on the left side and Yuuji on the right side of Megumi. The ride was about half an hour before they had to get off to go to the next train, Megumi seemed a bit tense, of course Yuuji noticed.
“Fushiguro, are you okay?” Yuji asked with a concerned and worried look on his face.
“Huh? Oh yeah I’m fine. Just thinking.” Megumi was thinking not about something important but over the fact that Yuuji was so close he could feel the heat raiding off him, or if the inside of the train was this hot.
15 minutes later, Nobara fell asleep (as always). Yuuji looks over at Megumi, as the train goes under bridges the lights fade then fade back in. Yuuji is looking at how Megumi’s eyes look under the light and Yuuji thinks he looks so beautiful, like moonlight. Megumi sees Yuuji looking at him from the corner of his eye.
“What..?” Megumi says with his eyebrows furrowed.
“HUH? Oh.. uh.. Nothing.” Yuuji says, looking out the window as quickly as he can but Megumi can see that he’s flustered. Suddenly there’s a snicker, they both look over to where Nobara is and she’s been laughing trying to keep it in, they can see the tears forming in her eyes.
“Hey Kugisaki!!, how long have you been up and why are you laughing?” Yuuji asks, although there is still blush on his face.
“Since you’ve been staring at Fushiguro.” Nobara says, wiping tears from her eyes.
They finally get to Taito Station Shinjuku City in Tokyo, Japan. Megumi as always has a neutral look on his face but Nobara and Yuuji look so excited that they’re practically drooling in awe. Nobara wants to fill her stomach before she gets to kicking Yuuji and Megumi’s a$$ in all of the arcade games.She quickly notices a place that has both ramen and sushi called ICHIRAN Shinjuku Station Center.
“Itadori, Fushiguro. Follow me” Nobara grabs them both hand in hand.
They both look confused but follow her anyway, Megumi swears by it that he saw Yuuji blush; it's just cold, Megumi really thinks Yuuji's type is just tall girls. They walk into ICHIRAN Nobara and Yuuji are drooling; literally, Megumi has to tell them to get it together while looking around embarrassed. They get seated Megumi and Yuuji sit next to each other with Nobara sitting in front of Yuuji. It isn’t tense but Nobara can kind of feel the tension between Megumi and Yuuji but she won’t say anything, not yet anyways.
“Soo, Itadori, what are you going to get?” Nobara asks, already knowing his answer; ramen bowl, steak, carrots, edamame, chicken broth and real thick noodles.
“You already know!!” Yuuji says, holding a thumbs up with a big grin. Yuuji and Nobara share a look. Megumi still catches the look exchanged between them.
The air is so heavy that Yuuji and Nobara are practically struggling to breathe and Megumi's glare every time they speak or talk to the waiter is worse. Yuuji is looking around the restaurant awkwardly and Nobara is on her phone but isn’t doing anything on it, only trying to escape the horrible awkward silence. Yuuji picks up his phone as well and decides to text something to Nobara.
Itadori: kugisaki, what do we do? megumi seems so upset or sad. I DON’T KNOW, but i feel really bad and its AWKWARD..
Kugisaki: megumi?? and how do u think i feel, this is so awkward you guys are so in luv.
Itadori: WHAAAT?! anyways.. i have an idea soo.. i’ll go to the bathroom and YOU talk to him
Kugisaki: Itadori, no.
Yuuji stretches then looks at Nobara.
“Im going to the bathroom.” Yuuji glares one last time at Nobara then he starts walking towards the men’s restroom.
Nobara sighs hard. “Fushiguro. What’s wrong?”
Megumi looks at her but doesn’t say anything, until she huffs. “Nothing.” his eyebrows are furrowed which means he’s clearly thinking hard about something.
Nobara sighs, then relaxes into the booth. Although she sees he’s very clearly in a mood, Nobara still pushes. “Ohh..? it’s about Itadori isn’t it..?” Nobara says holding back laughing, knowing full well it is but not sure why he’s upset over him.
Megumi’s head shoots up and his face is red but less noticeable compared to Yuuji’s. “Uh. What no.” voice a little nervous but something Nobara doesn’t catch.
“Fushiguro. I’m not stupid. I see the way you stare at him when you think no one’s watching.” Nobara says, more sternly this time. Megumi knows he can’t bring up how he thinks Yuuji is in love with Nobara so stays quiet until Yuuji comes out.
Yuuji walks back but feels like the tension is still there but he thinks that everything will get better when they go to play at the arcade. They got their food and ate but at times there was an awkward silence and all you could hear was the music in the background of the restaurant.
They start walking to the arcade with Nobara leading the way practically skipping with Yuuji and Megumi walking behind her together. Yuuji keeps stealing glances at Megumi trying to read his expression but Yuuji already knows it’s hard too when he isn’t talking. Megumi notices but doesn’t make it known, Megumi wants to say something to ask about him and Nobara.
“Itadori. I have a question.” Megumi asks, still eyes facing forward but he can see that Yuuji is shocked.
“Yeah! What’s Up!?!” A little louder than he wanted but he was just excited that Megumi was finally talking to him and staying more quiet than usual. But right before Megumi was going to ask Yuuji a question.
“Fushiguro, Itadori!! Hurry up!!” Nobara yells, and they start jogging towards her. They reach her and then the three of them walk into the arcade. It's kind of dark but the lights everywhere make it seem like it isn’t dark at all.
“Woahh” Megumi and Nobara say in unison. “Cool, right? I looked at a bunch of pictures on Google to see what it's like!” Itadori says, his eyes are sparkling and he has the biggest grin on his face. Megumi of course notices the sparkle in his eyes and smirks to himself.
“Guys, let’s go upstairs! I heard that’s where the competitive games are” Yuuji says, smirking at both Megumi and Nobara.
They make their way upstairs and everything is so cool they see shooting games (fighting zombie types of course), basketball, and baseball along with other games to compete with.
“Let’s do this one!!” Nobara says, both Megumi and Yuuji follow her, it's called Air Hockey. Megumi kind of has a bad feeling knowing that Nobara is always so good at games like these even if she has never played them before, but Yuuji does not know that so much.
“I’ll win, Kugisaki!! Fushiguro, are you not playing??”
“Nah, but I’ll watch. Counting on you to win Itadori” Megumi says, with a smirk on his face. Yuuji caught a little off guard, his ears started to turn red.
“Are you two done flirting? I need to beat Itadori, so shut up Fushiguro.” Nobara says, with a smile on her face.
Yuuji and Nobara play 8 rounds and Yuuji loses every. single. one but he wants to keep going to try and win for Megumi but even Megumi wants to go play something else.
“Awww man, I lost. Sorry Fushiguro.” Itadori says pouting looking at the ground with his hands in his pockets.
Megumi chuckles, “It’s okay, Itadori. We all lose sometimes, and you played well.” Megumi says, patting him on his shoulder. Yuuji smiles widely. Nobara looks at both of them and rolls her eyes at them in annoyance.
“Can you two not flirt for once, it’s annoying to watch” Nobara says, but subtly admiring the two of them.
“Maki is probably blowing up your phone as you’re currently hating on us” Megumi says, and with Yuuji laughing way too loud that Nobara hits him in the side.
“OWW, Kugisaki, do you hate me!?” Yuuji says pouting, Megumi is chuckling but not too much, obviously, and Nobara looks even more angry so they stop right there.
“Ooh let’s do this one” Yuuji says, pointing to a punching bag game. Megumi and Nobara look at each other knowing they were going to lose no matter how many rounds they go because Yuuji is much more muscular than the both of them and it doesn’t just count for him “eating Ryomen Sukuna’s finger” he’s just stronger in general.
Megumi goes first and gets a score of 20987, Nobara gets 20988 and Yuuji; of course, gets 28999. Yuuji drops Megumi and Nobara jaws, they knew he was stronger but that’s still shocking to them. Nobara brags in Megumi’s face about her getting 1 point higher than Megumi, he isn’t bothered by it he just rolls his eyes with Yuuji laughing on the side of Nobara. They make their way to a zombie game, apparently they have to shoot the zombies to survive. Yuuji opens the curtain to the game and realizes that only two people can fit because the bench is only made for two.
“Guys the bench is only made for two.” Yuuji says poking outside the curtain.
“Good, I don’t want to play anyway.” Nobara says, then pushes Megumi to go inside with Yuuji before Megumi can protest. Nobara gives him a subtle wink. Inside the zombie game, Yuuji is pretty close to Megumi considering that Yuuji is buff but not taller than Megumi.
“Which game mode do you want to play?” Megumi asks, looking at Yuuji. Yuuji doesn’t even realize that he’s been staring at Megumi and that they’re on the game screen.
“Huh? Let's go to medium, Level 1.” Yuuji says, snapping his attention from Megumi to the game.
“Alright try not to die, Itadori.” Megumi says, winking at Yuuji.
“Yeah right, you try to survive, Megumi.” Yuuji says. Megumi turns his head towards Yuuji, not paying attention to the game at all.
“Fushi, we’re going to die. Pay attention!!” Yuuji says. Megumi is still staring at Yuuji, blushing all over his face. He jolts his attention to the zombie game on the screen, Yuuji is close to dying.
‘Fuhsi.. Megumi?’ Megumi is replaying what Yuuji called him in his head over and over again rather than really paying attention to what is happening in the game or what Yuuji is saying.
Yuuji knows that Megumi is off about something but it doesn’t even click to Yuuji that is just called Megumi “Fushi and Megumi’ until after they are done playing. The game ends and they kill all the zombies but Yuuji gets the most kills. When they both exit the curtains it finally hits Yuuji, what he called Megumi.
‘OH GOD! WHAT WAS I THINKING. I mean I have been meaning to call him Megumi for a while but FUSHI?! I’m a complete idi0t but as long as I didn’t call him Megs..’ Yuuji thinks while coming out of the booth.
“Hey morons!! Who got the most kills?” Nobara calls out near the claw machines, holding boba in her hand.
“Yuuji did.” Megumi calling from behind Yuuji. Nobara looks confused looking between the two of them and Yuuji is absolutely flustered.
Nobara looks at both of them confused. "No mind, If we are going to start calling each other by our first names let me in too!" Megumi, knowing he’s the best at the claw machines, suggests going to play.
“Whatever. Let’s go to the claw machines.” They make their way to the claw machines. Yuuji starts complaining that he wants Pikachu who’s all the way in the back and like 3x his size.
Megumi pats Yuuji's head. “Alright, alright! Shut up Yuuji. I’ll get Pikachu for you.” Yuuji blushes way too much and Nobara of course snickering on the side. Megumi wins Pikachu and Spiderman for Yuuji, multiple plushies of Hello Kitty that are minis for Nobara and Nobara tells Megumi to get himself a batman plushie the same size as Yuuji’s, and for Nobara a Hello Kitty one.
They spent at least an hour at the claw machine because Nobara wanted more plushies than the amount she was already holding, but she wants to make one more stop before they go back to the dorms.
“Guys I wanna go to one last place before we go back to the dorms, follow me.” Nobara demands, Yuuji and Megumi follow but before they look at each other with a confused look.
“Ta-da!! We are in front of the..”
“Photo booth.” Megumi and Yuuji speak in unison.
Megumi reads the screen in front of the photo booth. “So, it says we need to choose a border and the title for the pictures.”
“Let’s go with the hearts and the title ‘Best Friends!!’” Yuuji says, with the widest grin on his face. Nobara and Megumi look at each other.
“Yuuji please, that’s super cheesy. I’ll just choose.” Nobara says scoffing; she chooses stars and the title ‘Cute Trio’. She realizes that every option is cheesy.
Nobara pats Yuuji on the back and shoves both Megumi and Yuuji into the booth. “Okay let’s go inside, hurry, hurry. Chop chop!”
“Okay guys make cute faces! Especially you Megs” Yuuji says, looking at Megumi with a huge grin. Then the countdown starts, they take the first picture; Yuuji holding up a peace sign smiling, Nobara a peace sign with her tongue out and Megumi just looking at Yuuji with a slight smile on his face.
Megumi realizes that he’s just been staring at Yuuji for the first half out of the 4 pictures so for the second collage he looks at the camera. Megumi does a peace sign with a small smile but doesn't go all out like Yuuji and Nobara thought they were doing. They get out of the photo booth and collect the pictures. The first collage of photos are so embarrassing; Megumi just staring at Yuuji with a small smile you can only catch if you look close enough.
“Bro Megumi, can you not look at Yuuji for at least 5 seconds or even a minute.” Nobara says, laughing harder than the statement actually is.
“Kugisaki. Please shut up.” Megumi says, clearly a little pink. Yuuji chuckled but his eyes were fixated on the picture; that he snatched from Nobara beforehand.
“Alright, alright! Chill Megumi, it's all good. Do you guys wanna go back to dorms now orr..??” Nobara says, hitting Megumi’s back and glaring at Yuuji.
“Okayy let’s go, Nobara you’re tired aren’t ya!!”
“First, get off me Yuuji, your arm it’s literally so heavy and second, yes I’m tired you guys wear me out.” Nobara adds, pushing Yuuji’s arm off, along with side-eyeing Megumi.
“We? We wear you out?” Megumi asks, wondering but not really because knowing Nobara she will say something unhinged and mean it.
They all start walking out the arcade. The air is colder than when they first got there, Megumi checks his phone and sees that the time is 10:30 pm which is telling that they’ve been at the arcade at least 4 hours.
“We’ve been here a long time.” Megumi says, looking at Yuuji whose nose was red from the cold.
“But we all had fun!! Right, guys?” Yuuji says, grinning looking at both of them but his gaze lasts longer on Megumi and Megumi nods.
“Yeah we did, but I just felt like a third-wheel. You guys were flirting the whole time.” Nobara says, laughing and walking a little ahead of them.
Yuuji and Megumi are left a little confused, they both believe that the “crushing” is unrequited.
Yuuji just laughs it off thinking Nobara is speaking nonsense even though he blushes at everything she says when she brings up Megumi or them together. Megumi doesn’t say anything but believes that Nobara doesn’t say anything but the truth.
“Just ignore Nobara, she just says anything in her mind.” Megumi says, waving it off. Megumi turns to look at Yuuji but he’s already looking which makes Megumi’s eyes widen with a blush lightly at the tips of his ears.
“Megumi. Do you think Nobara says anything just because or do you believe what she says is true..?” Yuuji asks, looking at Megumi. Megumi notices that they are walking closer together and their shoulders are now brushing but he moves past it.
“Sometimes, because she says things that turn out to be true in the end.” Megumi says, a little confused because of the sudden urge of the question.
Yuuji makes a kind of humming sound, his gaze not on Megumi anymore but on the path in front of them.
“Uhhh, can you guys hurry up? I wanna get back to the dorms.” Nobara yells from the stairs of the station.
Megumi and Yuuji start jogging towards her even though they weren’t that far from where she was but before that Megumi steals one last glance at Yuuji trying to read his face, but it’s like he’s reading himself.
They get on the train but this train takes a whole 2 hours to get back to Jujutsu Tech, which is better than hopping from train to train. As always they choose the seats near the back that don't have a lot of passengers around, as always the same spots.
“Wheww, I am tired. Megumi fix yourself so I can lay on your shoulder.” Nobara says, sighing and hitting Megumi’s shoulder.
Megumi adjusts himself.
“Calm down.” Yuuji looks at both of them smiling.
“Goodnight, Nobara!!” Yuuji says, laughing and a little loud but not too loud.
“Jeez, shut up Yuuji. You’re so loud.”
”Also, you guys like each other, a lot.” Nobara adds before fully closing her eyes and going to sleep.
Megumi looks at Nobara like he’s been betrayed. Megumi is blushing at the back of his neck, which he hopes Yuuji can’t see.
“HUH?!” Yuuji blurts out, which looks like he wasn’t prepared to say that based on his reaction. Yuuji's face is much worse than Megumi’s at the moment.
Yuuji adds on.
“She’s joking!!”
Megumi doesn’t look at Yuuji, as he’s still frozen from what Nobara said before going to sleep to escape the confessions even though she made it that way.
“She’s not wrong,” Megumi says quietly but just enough that Yuuji could hear him.
Yuuji looks a little confused and flushed. “What?”
Megumi exhales, slowly but steadily.
“I mean, she’s not wrong.” He finally turns his full attention to Yuuji, eyes sparkling and serious. “I do like you.”
Yuuji’s heart drops to his stomach. “Oh.”
Megumi keeps talking, voice low so Nobara won’t hear. “I really tried not to because you even said your type was Jennifer Lawrence and a tall woman or something. But Yuuji you’re so warm not just in the heat sense (in terms Yuuji understands, sadly.) and your energy always lights up a room and instantly makes anyone feel better, especially me.”
Yuuji stares at him for a while admiring him, then breaks into the warmest smile. “I feel the same about you.. WELL not your type or Jennifer Lawrence but even if you don’t smile much your presence alone makes me happy.”
Megumi’s eyes widened only a little. “Seriously?”
Yuuji rubs the back of his neck, putting his gaze anywhere other than Megumi. “Yeah!! Megumi even if you don’t think so.. I notice when you’re in a bad mood, not feeling well, hungry or even tired. I always notice how much you care for others even if your face doesn’t show it.. Yeah I’ve liked you a long time.”
Megumi looks away, embarrassed. “I guess Nobara was right.”
Yuuji adds on. “Yeahh, like you said, everything she says is true.”
Megumi chuckles a little bit. “Did you know she was gonna say that?”
Yuuji shakes his head enthusiastically. “Honestly, no.”
Nobara mumbles in her sleep. “I’m just too smart for you both.”
They both freeze and look in her direction.
Then Megumi sighs loudly, and Yuuji starts laughing.
Nobara sits up and releases her head from Megumi’s shoulder. “You may be laughing or enjoying the moment now.. But you just wait until we get back to Jujutsu Tech.”
Megumi and Yuuji both look at each other confused then back to Nobara.
“Because, Gojo-sensi will love to hear about this.”
“Nobara Kugisaki, why are you telling him, you know how he would act.”
Nobara teases and pokes him. “That’s the point, Megumi Fushiguro!”
Yuuji starts laughing. Megumi turns and looks at Yuuji, admiring him, looking at his smile and the way his eyes smile with his whole face.
Nobara looks over at Megumi. “Okay Megumi, we get it. You’re in love with Yuuji. Take a break from staring at him, jeez.”
“..Even if I am, why does it matter to you?” Megumi says, slightly embarrassed that he said that but doesn’t care because it’s the truth. He is in love with Yuuji and has been since they first met but would Megumi say the timeline outloud? No.
Yuuji is blushing, looking at Megumi with his eyes sparkling.
“If I have to watch and listen to another second of this, I fear I’m going to die.” Then all of a sudden the train stops, and they’ve arrived at Jujutsu Tech. “THANK YOU UNIVERSE!!” Nobara says, jumping up and putting her jacket back on as she took it off to cover her legs.
Nobara starts walking to get off the train. Megumi and Yuuji are walking a little behind her.
“Sooo..” Yuuji says, looking at Megumi and not paying attention in front of him. “What now..? Do we date?” Yuuji scratches the back of his neck unsure of how relationships work, Megumi being the first boy he’s ever liked.
“Only if you want to.” Megumi says, looking at Yuuji but then quickly looking away when he realizes Yuuji was already looking.
Yuuji jumps into his next step. “I DO!!” Yuuji smiles again. “Okay.. that was a little loud..”
Megumi looks at Yuuji and smiles. “It’s okay.”
“MEGUMI, I HOPE YOU KNOW I’M TELLING GOJO-SENSEI!!” Nobara yells, from the top of the stairs at the dorms.
“Nobara Kugisaki, don’t you dare!” Megumi says, pulling his attention from Yuuji to look at Nobara, but she’s already running inside the building.
Megumi and Yuuji start running to catch Nobara before she starts running her mouth to Gojo who will surely make a big deal out of it (like he does for everything and anything).
By the time Yuuji and Megumi catch up Nobara is already rambling to Gojo about the whole day and the confession the the train. Megumi's face is already warming up with blush and he can feel that his face is warm, which doesn't help considering that he's also out of breath, Yuuji is looking around embarrassed, Goko keeps looking at them shocked then back to Nobara to finish getting the rest of the story.
"No way Megoomi, said that!?" Gojo says, looking at Megumi with wide eyes.
Megumi whispers to Yuuji, "Why is he like this and I wish Nobara didn't tell him. He will bother us with this for the rest of our lives."
"But you have to admit it's kind of funny knowing he's so dramatic." Yuuji says back chuckling a little.
"Oh my gosh! Nobara looks like they're whispering to each other!!" Gojo says, walking closer to them and giggling like a child knowing he is a grown man.
"Okay Gojo you can stop whatever this is. You're so childish."
"ME?! CHILDISH?!"
Yuuji and Nobara start laughing and Yuuji laughs a little too much that he starts tearing up. Nobara sighs and starts walking towards Yuuji and Megumi pushing past Gojo.
"They might like each other but they would never kiss!" Nobara says, laughing with a hand on her hip.
Yuuji and Megumi look at each other and there's a faint blush on Megumi's face but Yuuji's whole face and ears are red.
"Okay." Megumi walks closer to Yuuji, Megumi whispers, "Just trust me alright."
Megumi leans forward, grabs Yuuji's sleeve of his jacket and pulls him closer.
Megumi kisses him.
It's not fully perfect or a desperate kiss. It's a little hesitant but it still makes Yuuji smile with Megumi still latched onto his lips. Megumi lingers just long enough to make his point against Nobara.
When he pulls back, Yuuji is frozen in place.
Nobara's jaw drops.
Gojo makes a sound, which is somewhere between a cheer and a gasp.
"You were saying exactly??" Megumi mutters, tips of his ears a little red but no one could notice but Yuuji and eyes narrowed.
Yuuji processes what just happened. His face goes bright red, his hand hovering at his sides. "Uh? Megumi..?!"
Megumi clears his throat, clearly embarrassed now that the adrenaline rush is gone. "You said you trusted me," he says quietly not meeting Yuuji's eyes. "She was wrong about us, clearly."
Yuuji stares at him for a while, then laughs a little soft and breathless.
"Well," he says, stepping closer to Megumi this time. "she's definitely wrong."
Yuuji leans in and kisses him back clumsier but full of a smile that Megumi can feel.
Nobara groans. "I hate being right and wrong at the same damn time."
Megumi rests his forehead against Yuuji's. "Still think we shouldn't kiss?"
Yuuji smiles. "Not anymore.."
Nobara sighs and starts walking towards her dorm. "Just confessed and already acting like a married couple."
Gojo laughs and starts walking away. "Reminds me of my teen years."
Yuuji and Megumi look at each other.
"So wanna watch a movie?!"
"Yuuji it is," Megumi checks his phone. "12:40 in the morning. We can tomorrow, I hope."
"Okay!!" Yuuji grabs Megumi's hand and skipping to his dorm. "Come on Megumi, skip with me!!"
"No."
"Awe. You hate me."
"Fine."
Megumi drops Yuuji off at his dorm. "BYE MEGUMI!"
"Night Yuuji."
