Paintbrush pov
"No...no fan...he..hes..." Paintbrush found themselves thinking as they stared down the cliff before turning their head and seeing test tube about to jump down after him. " test tube no!" They yelled holding her back "I have the blue ray on! I-i need to go save him!!!" She sobbed as Paintbrush pulled her into their chest " suitcase, lifering and box are on their way to him as we speak and cabby is paging doctor fizz and salt..." Paintbrush assured her as they started leading her back to the settlement "i s-should have brought the blue ray..w-why didn't i bring it?!" She sobbed. "This isnt your fault..." Paintbrush told her as they reached center.
a crowd was already forming as doctor fizz and salt carried fan in on a streacher..he looked so frail..his paper burnt. Test tube let out a choked sob and Paintbrush pulled her back into their chest " don't look...don't look" they whispered to her. They could see bot shaking as cabby did a similar move to them , paintbrush couldn't imagine what their going through.
Test tube and bot went down to the lab as Paintbrush went to their room where lightbulb was waiting and they immediately engulfed her in a tight hug and sobbed letting out the emotions they kept in check to comfort test tube out. Lightbulb hugged back crying her own tears, sometimes people forgot but the four of them weren't just friends they became like family to each other and the idea of losing apart of that family scared all of them..
Lightbulb left a hour later after Paintbrush dozed off crying to check on fan with a group of the others and abit after that Paintbrush woke up to a message from oj asking them to make sure test tube rested, apparently alot of the others started swarming her for the limited blue ray energy. They started down to the lab and saw test tube sitting at her desk " you should be laying down..". "i-im fine..I h-have to be..I n-need to stay s-s-stron-" she sobbed on the last word and paintbrush helped her to the couch she kept in the lab, paintbrush just let her sob "im not going anywhere test..you don't have to go through this alone..I'll be here as long as you need....I've got you"
