Unspoken, Unbroken

Summary:

Dick Grayson and Wally West have always been inseparable — the detective-minded acrobat and the speedster with a heart too big for his own good. Best friends, lifelong partners, and the duo everyone assumes is secretly dating. Everyone except them.

They never talk about the lingering touches or the feelings buried under years of jokes and missions.

Then the Light kidnaps them.

When the Team finds them, it isn’t a rescue — it’s a horror. Dick and Wally are trapped in an unexplainable machine, and floating between them is a baby.

A baby who looks like both of them.

Someone tried to create a child from them, and that child is alive.

As the Team races to uncover the Light’s plan, Dick and Wally must finally face the feelings they’ve avoided — while protecting a baby who shouldn’t exist but already means everything.

Secrets unravel. Bonds deepen. And two best friends must decide what they are before the Light returns for what they created.

Chapter 1: Book Cover Description

Chapter Text

Dick Grayson and Wally West have always been the kind of best friends who orbit each other like gravity — close enough to touch, too afraid to admit why they never do. Everyone around them sees what they refuse to name: the soft looks, the unspoken loyalty, the way their worlds tilt toward each other without effort.

But during a mission gone wrong, everything changes.

When the Light abducts them, the Team expects a rescue. What they find instead is a nightmare: Dick and Wally strapped into a machine neither magic nor science can fully explain... and suspended between them, a baby.

A baby who looks unmistakably like both of them.

The Light had a plan — one that used their speedster and their detective in ways no one could have imagined. Now the Team must unravel the purpose behind the experiment, protect the child, and confront the terrifying possibility that the Light isn't finished.

As Dick and Wally struggle to recover, they're forced to face the feelings they've buried for years — and the unexpected bond forming with the child created from them. Secrets rise. Lines blur. And two best friends must decide what they mean to each other before the Light returns for what they started.

Family isn't always chosen. Sometimes it's created in the most impossible ways.
