Giyu went back to his estate after his mission with Tanjiro Kamado. Oh, and it was a long one alright. During their mission together, Giyu had nearly almost got himself killed. Luckily, Tanjiro saved him in time and helped Giyu a lot with this mission. He was happy to have a companion like the Kamado kid.
Giyu was all in his thoughts, when he heard a knock at the door. “Come in.” He said. The door opened and Sanemi was there. “Shinazugawa? Why are you here?” Giyu asked. “Master asked me to come find you. I don't know why he chose me though.” Sanemi responded. Giyu nodded. Then, silence. Awkward silence.
“Uhm, I suppose I should leave.” Sanemi said. Giyu became upset with that. “Goodbye Tomioka.” Sanemi turned to the door but, Giyu stopped him with his voice. “Shinazugaw, wait a minute.” Giyu stood up and walked to Sanemi. He pulled out something from his Haori. It was Ohagi.
“I thought I should give you this before you go.” He handed Sanemi the ohagi. Blushing, Sanemi took the ohagi out Giyu's hand. “Thank you, I suppose.” Then Giyu did something unexpected. He smiled. Giyu fucking Tomioka smiled in front of Sanemi Shinazugawa. Sanemi practically passed out right then and there, but he didn't. He just nodded slowly and closed the door. “God, I'm such an idiot for him.” Sanemi looked to the ohagi in his hand, smiled, and walked to his estate.
