Work Text:

Turning off the light Draco climbed into bed wrapping his arms around his husband, Harry Potter. He gently kissed his lips causing him to smile. “Night dragon, love you”, Harry whispered.
“Love you too,” Draco replied before drifting off. Harry smiled and kissed his husband's lips one more time, before falling asleep as well.

Draco immediately shot out of bed when he heard Harry’s bloodcurdling scream. Looking over to his lover, he saw him thrashing on the bed screaming as he was in the depths of a nightmare. “Shh, Harry it’s okay, come on wake up Harry,” Draco said calmly as he gently shook Harry to wake him up.
Harry sat up, eyes frantically searching for his attackers as he started to breathe heavily, the panic attack taking over. “Hey, hey, look at me Harry, look at me.” Harry turns toward Draco as he starts hyperventilating. “Breathe with me baby, in and out,” Draco gently whispered as he rubbed circles on Harry’s back.
Harry’s breathing started to slowly even out. He leaned against Draco as sobs racked his body. “Shh, it’s alright love,” Draco whispered as he moved so he and Harry were sitting against the headboard. “They were all dead, and I, I, I could do nothing, "Harry sobbed. “Its not your fault, Harry. Draco replied before pulling Harry against his chest. Harry eventually drifted off to sleep. Draco smiled and kissed his forehead before falling asleep as well.
