Another long week at OA and Hal is tired as fuck now,just wants to go home and lay in hsi shabby apartment bed okay maybe not that shabby ,but no he has to sit here and listen to THE batman go on about how they could have gotten the work done fast if this if that---
His sitting next to a jittery flash , on his left is green arrow acting like he cares what batman is saying ,superman across them is as polite and attentuve as always and wonder woman is not there she had been busy with matters at Amazon ,black Canary is not there as well cause this meeting was nto so important but batman just had to bother Hal to come right now ,ugh even the white lights hit hals eyes all wrong like sharp knives his head is aching the pain reaching his eyes which feel heavy with exhaustion , this week was particularly exerting as guy gardener messed up a truce that OA was supposed to supervise a intergalactic issue arose and now the people of planet B-13 are mad at the 'green glowing people's and refusing further aid ..
He has test flights at tomorrow 8 something am carol was saying they are important and---," lantern ."
A stern voice rings out in the conference room of the watch tower,slumping flash immediately straightens and Oliver elbows Hal hard
"Ow--huh?"Hal raises his eyes and meets batman disapproving glance with a confused of his own " oh,yeahh?",he sound sheepish even to himself
" Were you paying attention , lantern? " Batman says voice stern and Hal straightens internally cursing himself for feeling self conscious
"..no.."
" How irresponsible do you have to act ,lantern",it was a statement ,his calling Hal irresponsible the guy who literally is in the space corps like come on , Hal feels annoyed at best now
" Dude , don't " flash says lightly he knows Hal is about to argue (it's a well known fact green lantern and batman don't get along )
" Irresponsible?..how am I anything like that? " Hal says voice annoyed
" You mean like the fact that for the past fifteen minutes you have not been paying attention to any of the disbrief"
Batam is standing at the front end of the white marble table , his arms now crossed against his chest looking like the stern piece of shit he is the monitors behind him an array of blue mirrors showing camera recording of their fight and listings and other stuff --hal can't even focus on his head is killing him and abdominal area throbbing as well
"Oh I have been paying attention fine ,alright maybe if you had not made me come to this unimportant meeting your little talk show would not have been disturbed bats,I mean why do wonder woman and black Canary get to not come?"
Batman's expression is as neutral as ever it annoys Hal he wants to rip that mask off and see what's behind those eyes and stern voice probabaly a diplomatic self sufficient asshole if you ask him
"They have reason to be away , lantern " batman says ,as if talking to a toddler tahst how Hal feels tahst hwi he makes Hal feel unappreciated and small at time she hates that
"Right of course and as if I have been free,you know what your such a--! " Hal stood up and then a wave of dizziness hits him as he rapidly blinks ,flash is up in a second beside Hal
" L ? You good?" Flashes hand hovers near hals shoulder to steady him if he falls ,green arrows stares at them then back at batman
"Um.batman I think green lantern should leave you guys cma argue some other day "
" I am--fine" Hal grits his teeth as another wave of pain hits his body and he grips the table
"Come on"
Flash says pulling Hal out of the room who glares at batman , and actually ..batman seems oddly weird as if ..nevermind that's just batman being himself ,standing there looking at them .asshole.
Barry and Hal leave the watchtower ....

Back at hals place now , Barry opens hals apartment door
"You should have gone to the Medbay"Barry says as he helps Hal in by grasping his arm and shuts the apartment door leaving them in the sitting room now
"No I don't want to be in the same room as that asshole Barry"..Hal says grunting as he sat on the couch , panting softly
"Are you sure your ok?" Barry moves to sit next to Hal
"It's just my body telling me I have less gender privileges bars" Hal smirks at his own words and glances at Barry but is met with a worried look
"Dude seriously I am fine" Hal bulls his shoulder with Barry's ,"liar"..
Hal snicker "sometimes I think you should have been my mom,god I hate that guy "
"Bats?" Barry asks frowning
"Obviously he gets on my most heated nerves..get it heated like cause omegas go into heats and I am one.." they stare at each other for a few seconds before both burst into chuckles
"Your not funny"Barry supplies shoulders still shaking from laughing ,then his phone rings

"Yeah..you sure you will be--"Barry is cut off by Hal "I will not die ,trust me even if I do like the thrill ..go to your girl before she thinks we have something goin on"
