For me, my interpretation is that this is about my bigender identity. My original self is the femininity and the new self is the masculinity; you are free to interpret this poem however you like.

This is based on what I saw at night: two shadows, and then I realised I saw my bigender identity.

Under the glimmer of the stars of the night sky I walked as usual

For I looked down and saw two shadows

Which certainly was out of place

And when I looked at two,

I knew what I saw

The original self

And the one that's been discovered

And they are rather different

But they coincide and amidst everything in life

And I have found a new me
