There’s vines everywhere, blood splattered on the walls and floors. Will wakes up with vines all over his body
His face was covered in blood.
He’s unable to move.
Will starts trying to move around to get out of the vines.
Once he breaks free, he runs not knowing where he’s going until he ends up tripping on a vine falling down into blood, that’s when he sees him.
Vecna standing 5ft away from him, Will tries to get up but the vines catch him.
Vecna pulls him closer to him….
Will wakes up screaming and crying. This is the 5th time this week he has woken up in tears, his boyfriend can’t seem to understand how bad and traumatizing his nightmares are.
“Will, holy shit. Are you okay, baby?”
“I had another nightmare, Carl, I'm so tired of these nightmares. This is the 5th time waking you up from my screams and cries. I'm sorry you have to deal with me.”
“Don’t be, I chose to be with you, so I want to deal with you, now tell me what was your nightmare even about?”
“The same nightmare as all ways, but these nightmares get scarier each night. The pills aren’t helping at all. If anything, it makes everything worse.”
“If you say so Will, I can take you to the therapist or something”
“No no, it’s fine, Carl. I’ll be okay” Will says while giving a fake smile
The truth is Will can’t tell Carlton everything, how he got kidnapped, the upside down, everything. Carlton can barely understand the current dreams Will is having, Carlton is a good boyfriend, he is so sweet and caring but he just doesn’t understand Will well. That sometimes makes Will upset and unlovable, he wants someone that can understand him more than he can understand himself. The only person that did understand him is Mike Wheeler, his best friend. Will and Mike haven’t talked in over a year which made Will think Mike didn’t wanna be his best friend anymore. Will gets up from the bed to go use the bathroom while Carlton makes breakfast before he goes to work. After Will uses the bathroom, he goes to the kitchen to find Carlton already sitting down waiting for Will so they can both eat.
“I made your favorite, Pancakes, eggs and sausage, I added salt and pepper to your eggs just how you like them.”
“Thanks Carl, I can’t believe you even remember that. Hey also, I may go to the store for dinner tonight. Maybe we can have a little movie night or something”
“I wish we could but I got a double shift today which would mean I have to sleep over at my parent’s place. Maybe we can have one tomorrow”
“I guess, I’ll just watch the movie by myself then"
After they’re both done eating, Carlton goes to the bathroom and starts getting ready. Will on the other head starts cleaning up the kitchen and the dishes.
“Ring…ring..ring”.
The phone rings. Will walks to the phone and answers it.
“Hello? Will Byers speaking.”
“Hey Will, Its Mike…”
