Thinking about Reader who has their guild mark in a similar place as Gray’s. Not exactly their chest but rather along their hipbone. Whenever they’re asked about it, they just play dumb. Saying “oh, I was a kid. Kinda just picked a spot. Didn’t really think about it.” But now, whenever they have to show the f/c guild mark, they have to push their pants and underwear out of the way.
They quickly grow tired of it. Instead, opting to wear garments that show off their hips. Whether it be cutouts or see through mesh material. Sometimes, low rise pants and a cropped shirt to further show off the midriff when they’re feeling lazy. And not wanting to be a fashion icon for once with it.
Eventually having their hips out is just second nature. Not even paying any mind to it until those in the guild get enticed to touch/grab them there. Suddenly reminded when an arm brushes past.
Or when a pair arms loops around their hips in a hug. Getting gently pulled out of the way when they’re about to run into an obstacle. For when they’re simply going the wrong way. Wishing to be closer to Reader as well as they redirect them.
Getting hoisted in the air to sit on someone’s shoulders. Thankful as they’re able to see above the crowd of people.
Really any excuse to touch their hips. And without fail, it causes a tingly sensation to erupt on Reader’s skin. Visible goosebumps. But it doesn’t stop them swaying their hips as they walk in a strut. Popping a hip out when they stand. Right where they want to be.
