Chapter Text
April 6th.
I open my eyes. I realize that I nearly missed my stop on this rail transit line, so I get off of the monorail and head towards the dorm I'm staying at. While heading there, I notice that there are a lot of coffins around me while I walk, and that the atmosphere's changed as well. It's nothing I haven't seen before though. I see that there's another person a couple feet away in front of me, but pay no attention to him. Unfortunately, I accidentally bump into him. He's wearing the same model of headphones I have, a gray overcoat, and blue pants. He sees me and apologizes, but I then notice some form of familiarity with him, so I ask him his name. He says that his name is Makoto Yuki, which gives me the strangest sense of Déja Vu. I then ask him about what he's doing out in this hour, to which he responds with "I'm headed to a place called Iwatodai Dorm. Do you know where it is?" This hits me as an extraordinarily strange coincidence as I happen to be headed there too. I ask him if he wants to walk there with me as I'm headed there too, and he responds, saying that he doesn't care. Feeling curious, I ask him if his parents died in a car accident ten years ago, to which he says yes. I ask him if he had a twin sibling that went missing during that incident and he says yes to that as well. I tell him my name, and he says that we might be long lost twins. I get a strange flashback and realize that he's correct, so I tell him that. We hug each other and head to the dorm.
When I arrive at Iwatodai Dorm, I am greeted by a mysterious young boy. He says that I have to sign a contract, which I do. I ask Makoto if he saw that boy to and he looks at me confused. He then looks again and notices the boy, but the boy disappears right as he does. After that, a strange girl with pink clothes appears. She starts panicking and reaches for a gun. Then another girl who looks older than the pink girl and has red hair appears, and tells her to calm down. The red-haired girl introduces herself as Mitsuru Kirijo, with the pink-haired girl introducing herself afterwards. Me and Makoto learn that the pink-haired girl's name is Yukari Takeba. I ask Yukari about the gun, to which she panics again and says it's a hobby. (What kind of hobby requires you to use a gun, I wonder?) Yukari decides to escort me to my room, while Mitsuru escorts Makoto to his. I decide not to pry about the gun anymore, so I say goodnight and go to bed.
April 7th.
I wake up and head downstairs. Yukari offers to escort me and Makoto to school to which I allow her to. Makoto just nods, seemingly agreeing to it as well. Yukari talks about how the train we take to school is on the sea, while Makoto just stands there, listening to music on his headphones. I try to ask about the gun, but she shoots me down and tells me not to mention it at school. (This is a very strange hobby indeed) When we get to school, she tells Makoto that we go to the faculty office, so I decided to do look for it, while Makoto decides to just wander around the school instead. I reach the faculty office, but before I can go in I look for Makoto only to discover that he's been talking to a teal-haired girl who introduces herself as Fuuka Yamagishi. I say "Thanks for keeping him in one place", and go to the faculty office again. A woman named Ms Toriumi introduces herself, and tells us that I'm in Class 2-C, while Makoto is in Class 2-F. I mention to her that she should excuse Makoto for being late sometimes because despite knowing him for only a day now, he has a horrible sense of direction. I then escort Makoto to his class, and proceed to my class. My teacher introduces herself as Ms. Ounishi, and starts the first lesson of the semester. After school, I run into Fuuka again, so we decide to hang out. She suggests we go to Wilduck Burger. I agree to her suggestion, as I've only just transferred here. While walking there, we run into Makoto, who made a friend named Kenji. I learn that he's headed to Hagakure Ramen with Makoto, and me and Fuuka make our way to Wilduck Burger. While eating, I jokingly suggest that it's a date, which gets Fuuka flustered. After our "date", I head back to the dorm, and take a quick nap, not even changing out of my clothes before doing so.
April 7th, the Dark Hour.
I wake up due to a loud bang outside of my room, and then Yukari barges into my room looking really panicked. Like any normal person in this situation, I ask what's going on, but Yukari just tells me that we need to get to the roof of the dorm-and fast. I ask about Makoto's location, and she tells me that she's going to pick him up as well. When we get to his room, I breathe a sigh of relief as he's clothed. Yukari grabs Makoto's hand, and we run upstairs. When we get to the roof, Yukari sighs, but before we can catch our breath more, hands start appearing on the edge of the roof, and it reveals a large monster which looks like lots of hands combined into one being. Yukari reaches for her gun, but instead of pointing it at the strange monster, she points it to her head. She tries to shoot herself with it, but before she can pull the trigger the monster attacks her, swiping her away. Makoto, somehow unfazed by all of this grabs the gun and shoots himself with it. Instead of dying however, Makoto summons a large figure that appears ethereal and calm. It looks like a weird fantasy elf with a scythe. The figure tries to attack the monster, but the monster attacks Makoto and swipes him aside as well. I pick up the gun that fell out of Makoto's hand and pluck up the courage in order to shoot myself with it. I pull the trigger, and I mutter "Per..so…na…" and another figure appears, which looks like a more ethereal version of me. I suddenly feel an extremely intense pain, and out of that figure appears a scary-looking figure. It could only be described as looking like death itself. It kills the large monster, but a lot of smaller monsters appear. Luckily, Makoto finds another gun hidden underneath some boxes, and summons his figure, which probably destroys them all with it's scythe. Makoto then falls unconscious, and I then black out as well.
April 18th, After school around a week after the incident.
I wake up again, this time in a brightly lit hospital room. Yukari is next to me. She asks me if I'm ok, so I tell her that I am. I ask where Makoto is and she says that Makoto's in the room next to mine. She tells me that she can kind of relate to me. I ask her how, and she says that her dad also died ten years ago. (Why is everyone talking about my dead parents?) I tell her that I'm grateful for Makoto and she says that I'm lucky to have him. She then tells me that I should grab Makoto and go back to the dorm, as we've been discharged. She also says that everything will be explained once we get there. Once we get there, I meet a suspicious looking man. He introduces himself as Shuji Ikutsuki, and asks me if I would believe him if there were more than 24 hours in a day. (I'M SORRY, WHAT?!) Like any normal person, I say no, but Makoto says yeah (He must be crazy). He then explains to me that there is a 25th hour of the day, and it's called the Dark Hour. He asks me if I'd like to join a club called S.E.E.S, where they kill monsters call Shadows in a place called "Tartarus." (Fuck it, why not) I decide to join it and Makoto joins it as well. After having dinner at Hagakure with Makoto, I go to bed.
April 19th, Evening.
Tonight we are supposed to get a new member at S.E.E.S, I accidentally slept until 5:00 PM, and run into Makoto when heading downstairs to get a bite to eat. I ask Makoto if he made any new friends at school. (Like a good sister) He says that he made friends with a boy named Junpei Iori. Suddenly, the doorbell rings, and a teenage boy with dark grayish-black hair, gray-colored eyes and a goatee walks in with another teenage boy. Goatee boy is wearing a Gekkoukan school jacket and pants, but with a blue collared dress shirt, a navy blue baseball cap with a white Triquetra symbol on the front, and several accessories, consisting of a silver necklace, a chain attached to his pants and black dress shoes. He's also wearing a white belt with an intricate silver buckle and black patterns along the belt. The other teenage boy has short silver hair, gray eyes, and wears a small white bandage above his left eye. He's wearing a slightly modified version of the Gekkoukan High School school uniform, where he replaced it's standard jacket with a red sweater vest, opting to carry the jacket over his shoulder instead. Yukari sees me and says good evening, and I ask about Goatee and Silver-hair. She tells me that Silver-hair's name is Akihiko Sanada, and that Goatee's name is Junpei Iori. Mitsuru wakes up from what I assume is a nap, and tells us that Junpei's the new recruit. Junpei immediately tries to hit on me, but I shoot him down and say that I'm lesbian, to the shock of everyone else in the room (I've never had a crush on a guy before, so I assume that I'm lesbian). After that, Shuji decides that tonight is the night we head to Tartarus (Hell yeah!).
April 19th, Dark Hour
Before heading there, Shuji explains that Tartarus is a mysterious tower that appears during the Dark Hour which our school turns into. I decide to not think about it too much. When we get there, it's right before midnight. The school suddenly turns into a gargantuan tower just like he described, and we head in there. Inside, it looks very ethereal, and then a girl that I met in a dream named Elizabeth asks me to walk into a strange, blue door on the left. I enter in the door, and am greeted by the creepy man long-nosed man who appeared in my dream as well. He explains to me that the ability I wield is called a "Persona" and that I can possess multiple of those. He also introduces himself as Igor. Elizabeth then explains that the room I'm in is called "The Velvet Room", and leads me back to the real world. Junpei, Yukari, Makoto, and me decide to vote for a leader, and everyone decides to make Makoto the leader. I ask if I can lead sometimes as well and they say sure. Once in Tartarus, we beat up lots of shadows, and make it to floor 22 before we realize that we can't go any further. We decide to stop for the day because of that, and I go grab something to eat before heading to bed.
April 20th, After School
I wake up, and head to school. After school, I hang out with a guy named Hidetoshi Odagiri, and he asks me if I know anybody who's willing to join the student council, so I volunteer Makoto for it. I have dinner at Wakatsu Restaurant.
April 21st, After School
After school, I make friends with a girl named Rio Iwasaki, who I think is pretty funny. She asks me to join the tennis club, so I do that. After practice, I have dinner at the Beef Bowl Shop.
April 22nd - April 31st
My week was pretty uneventful after that day.
