Work Text:
It started with a can of tuna fish. No one knew where it came from, or why it was there, but Wolf Chan stared it down where it sat on the shelf.
“Kari!” He shouted, his thick accent echoing down the dorm hallway.
Bbokari’s yellow head poked around the corner, her face painted with confusion as she rubbed sleep from her eyes. “What?”
“Is this your fish?”
Kari shuffled closer, squinting at the can on the shelf before shaking her head. “I don’t eat fish, Wolfie. It’s not yours?”
Wolf Chan shook his head, a frown twisting his features. “No, it’s not mine either.” The pair stared into the cabinet, beyond confused, until Wolf Chan shrugged and grinned. “Well, whoever it belonged to, it’s ours now!”
They went on with their lives, not thinking of the tuna again.
Not until two weeks later, when Bbokari opened the cabinet to find…
A SECOND CAN OF TUNA!!
She tilted her head to the side as she stared at the second can. It was identical to the one it stood on, except the best by date was just a couple weeks later.
"Wolfie?" she asked, grabbing the can and examining it. It was just a can of tuna.
"Hm?" Wolf Chan asked as he walked into the kitchen. His eyes went wide when he saw that there was a second can of tuna.
"Did you buy more?" Bbokari asked, holding the can up to him.
Wolf Chan shook his head, taking the can out of Bbokari's hand so he could investigate it himself. Much like the first can, there was nothing out of the ordinary with it.
It was just a can of tuna. Their managers always made sure to have them whenever they were on tour or doing a schedule, as Lee Bit liked to eat it with rice.
"Maybe it's left over from the schedule we had a few days ago?" he asked, placing the can back into the cupboard.
However, the next day, Bbokari went to look in the cabinet again out of curiosity and found hundreds of cans of tuna nearly overflowing!
She shrieked. "WOLFIEEEEE!!!!"
Wolf Chan ran to see what the emergency was. "What? What happened? Are you okay?"
Bbokari pointed to the mountain of tuna cans in horror.
"Holy shit!" Wolf Chan exclaimed.
One had been a fluke, two had been odd, but this many??? Wolf Chan needed to get to the bottom of this. He pulled out his phone and called Leebit, the most likely culprit of a prank of this scale.
The phone rang once, twice, before the duo realized they could hear the answering ring. It was coming from inside the tuna mountain!
Bbokari and Wolf Chan quickly dug through the cans to find a sleeping Leebit nestled among the tuna.
"Leebit? Oi, Leebit, wake up!"
Leebit blinked awake and yawned.
"Oh sorry. I bought too much tuna."
