Hyun slowly opened the door to his cozy and warm apartment. Multiple pairs of shoes laid at the hyeon-gwan area of the front of the apartment, reminding him of his lovely wife he shared this space with. He had his messenger bag hanging from his shoulders and a long coat on due to it freezing outside. A windbreaker jacket was on over his coat that had a hood for his head. He slipped the hood back now that he was inside his warm apartment and began to take his shoes off.
“Honey, I’m home!” Hyun called out to his partner. He closed the door with a click and made sure to lock it behind him.
“Honey!” The voice of his partner called out from another area of their house. Hyun couldn’t help but smile at the sound of his lover’s voice. It was his favorite part of the day.
Hyun took his shoes off and began to take off his messenger bag. Rui suddenly slid into the hallway and ran over to Hyun just as he pulled the strap over his head. Rui hugged Hyun lovingly, not giving him a chance to put his bag down.
“Hi honey~” Rui spoke in a loving tone. Her hug was soft and warm around Hyun. Hyun then dropped his bag onto the floor to hug his gorgeous wife back. Her hair was black and down to her shoulders in a wolfcut. She wore an apron over her lounge clothes that had a heart on the front. It was pink, her favorite color. Hyun's sense of smell then kicked in as he could smell the delicious scent of food that was being made.
“Smells good… what are you making?” Hyun questioned softly. He gently rubbed the side of his head against Rui’s as a loving gesture. She did the same back while smiling.
“It’s your favorite: dried pollack“ Rui spoke with a proud smile. Hyun gasped. He was not expecting to eat his favorite food tonight.
“Oh, Rui..” Hyun pulled his head back to lovingly look into Rui’s eyes. “I can’t wait to eat it~” Hyun spoke happily with a soft smile. His entire face showed that he was touched that his wife decided to cook his favorite food today. “You’re the sweetest..” Hyun cooed just before placing a kiss on Rui’s lips. She happily closed her eyes as she kissed him back.
“How could I not? It’s been a while since you’ve had it and I know you’ve been working hard. You deserve it.” Rui spoke sincerely. She looked into Hyun’s eyes with pure love and adoration. She always has, ever since they met. The sparkle in her eyes only showed when she interacted with her lover. Hyun adored it.
Hyun then remembered he still had his windbreaker and coat on as the temperature in the house was now getting to him. He began to take his windbreaker off, not once breaking eye contact with Rui.
"My sweet wife... how could fate be so kind to me?" Hyun spoke tenderly as he hung the windbreaker on the coat rack. Rui could feel her cheeks flush at the wonderful compliment she was being given by her husband. She bit her lip then reached over to help Hyun take off his coat.
The oven timer then beeped, reminding Rui of the dinner she was making. Her eyes widened slightly. "Oh, right. Go sit at the table when you're ready, honey." Rui told Hyun before trotting over to the kitchen. Hyun mentally cooed at the sight of Rui running off.
Once Hyun put all his things away, he walked over to the table where Rui already had the meal prepared on a plate. Hyun smiled at the sight and sat down at the table. He could see Rui frantically moving around in the kitchen as she put away spare dishes and gathered utensils for them to have. She took her apron off to hang on the wall then walked over to Hyun with a big grin on her face.
"Here, honey." Rui handed Hyun the chopsticks she had in her hands. Hyun took them from her and remembered now that he still had his tie on. He began to tug on it to loosen it. Rui reached over to untie his tie herself. “Want me to feed you?” She questioned with a big grin on her face. She had a feeling Hyun would protest, but asked regardless. Rui then successfully took Hyun’s tie off and held it in her hand.
“You don’t have to, sweetheart.” Hyun reassured as he shook his head. Rui then leaned over to kiss Hyun on his cheek. Hyun cooed at the loving gesture. “Ah, honey~.” Hyun whined in a playful manner.
“I’ll feed you if you so desire. Even if it’s just for a couple of bites.” Rui said softly to Hyun. They stared into each other’s eyes for a moment before Hyun’s lips met Rui’s in a passionate kiss. Rui happily kissed back.
“Alright, just a few bites.” Hyun agreed once he pulled away from the kiss. Rui chuckled happily then surprised Hyun by sitting on his lap. Hyun didn’t mind this at all and wrapped his arm around Rui’s waist.
Rui took back the chopsticks and gently grabbed a small portion of food with the chopsticks. She held it in front of Hyun’s mouth, to which he happily opened his mouth for. Rui slowly pulled the chopsticks back as Hyun closed his mouth over it. She became fixated on the way Hyun’s mouth wrapped around it. He always has such gorgeous lips…
Rui quickly came back to reality after noticing Hyun had swallowed the food she had just fed him. She then gave him another mouthful of food. It wasn’t until the fourth time she fed him that Hyun broke the silence.
“Don’t you need to eat too, honey?” He asked softly after swallowing. Rui’s eyes widened in realization. She did forget that she had to eat too.. Hyun was her priority as soon as he came through the door. All her other needs and wants were forgotten upon seeing her husband.
“Oops.” She said with an innocent smile as she placed Hyun’s chopsticks on the side of his plate for him. “I’ll go get my own food.” She said as she reluctantly got up from Hyun’s lap. Hyun gently squeezed Rui’s hip as she got up as a loving gesture. She continued to smile, knowing that Hyun still appreciated the actions she took for him although it was unnecessary.
Rui got her own plate of food and sat beside Hyun as they finished their dinner. She had hung Hyun's tie around her neck as she ate. Once finished, Rui turned to Hyun.
“Honey… can we take a bath together tonight?” She inquired. She batted her eyelashes purposely to entice him to say yes. Hyun couldn’t resist her pleading even if he wanted to. He could feel his heart skip a beat.
“Of course. I’ll get the water ready for us.” Hyun declared as he tucked a strand of hair behind Rui’s ear. She smiled happily and quickly got up to gather the dishes.
“Yay!~ I’ll put the dishes away then come join you~” She cooed happily. Hyun chuckled softly as he found it adorable how excited Rui was.
“Sounds great, honey.” Hyun responded as he stood up. Oh how he loved his wife so dearly. No matter how often they had seen each other in such vulnerable states, each time was like the first. Not once did their love ever falter.
Rui was Hyun's 1&Only.
