Wise was never fully direct with having feelings for others, whether they were a guy or a girl he couldn't or never thought he had a chance, especially with living as a proxy. Though when he saw Manato, he fell for him, not instantly because if it was instant his sister would never let him live it down. After being saved by Manato countless times, and him protecting Eous, he started to like him more and more.
Wise phone buzzed, he picked it up from his nightstand and looked at a message from Manato, he sprung up and immediately read what it said.
"Hey Wise, Yuzuha messaged me this morning talking about this horror movie that came out, I was wondering if you wanted to join?"
"I mean, I would love too, but I don't want to ruin your time with the girls, you guys have fun though." Wise put his phone down and sighed, of course he wanted to go but he didn't want to ruin Manato times hanging with the girls.
Another Message popped up and rise reacted quickly to pick it up "Girls? No No, they asked Belle to do something with them today, I was thinking maybe just us two? It can be a date."
Wise spent a while staring at his phone, a date? Did he miss type that? I mean it can be a friend date not a romantic one...right? His mind was filled with many thoughts in his head, did he really mean it?
Manato sent one last message after a couple minutes of Wise to respond "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come out as weird, we don't have to go and I can hang with the girls."
"NO." He looked at his phone face red and replied. "I mean we can do, sorry I was a bit caught off guard, of course I wanna go, with you especially."
Wise put his phone down and walked away from it, knocking on his sisters door and rushing inside freaking out.
"He asked me out Belle, what do I do?" Belle looked like she was about to laugh and tease him but kept her cool.
"Calm down Wise, I mean maybe he meant it in romantic way, or a friend way either or he asked you to hang out, this is your shot to do something with him." She looked at him as he began to sit down.
"You're right, you're right...Alright, can you at least help me look good for him?" He sighed
"Of course big bro, I am always here for you."
As they both prepared for the date she continually texts the girls and update them on everything they're doing.

"So will you guys help me or not? I was very brave for even managing to text him that, I'm freaking out over here!?" he looks at the girls who are excited for him, because he sometimes wouldn't stop talking about Wise.
"You're fine you big dummy, plus it was MY idea that I told you to send all that to him, so you should be thanking ME." Yuzuha looks in Manato's closet to find any nice clothes he can wear to the date.
"Y-you're being to hard on him Yuzuha, but I agree with her, I-I mean she was going to drag ME to the scary movie, I'm so glad she convinced you to take Wise" Alice starts to comb his tail making sure its straight and not a single hair looks unsymmetrical.
"Also, Wise gets scared super easily so, he will be all up on you when it happens, if any jump scares happen" Lucia chimed in, drawing an ethereal she saw in the hallow earlier.
Yidhari agreed, and she fixes Manatos hair using all her tentacles to carry something.
"Thanks girls, I mean I am a little worried I might say or do something dumb, I don't want the wrong impression even if we known each other for months. Plus... what if he doesn't even like me." His eyes go down and looks down at the floor feeling disappointed as he got thrown some clothes at his face.
"Manato be quiet, you known the proxy for a while now nothing will change that, now get changed you're leaving in a few hours."

As time passed Wise and Belle headed over to Yuzuhas, at the same time Manato and the girls left the shop, leaving both boys standing there and they left without saying a word.
"M-Manato! Hey." Wise extends out his hand he blushes not knowing why he extended out his hand but he did it out of habit.
"Wise!" he sniffs the air and looks at the shorter guy. "You smell the same, soft and gentle." his tail wags and they start heading over to the Wise car.
The car ride was awkward, both men couldn't say anything say some coughs and a bit of small talk that failed to actually be small talk. He was fiddling with his fingers wondering if he's doing something wrong, but then the car came to a stop, they arrived at their destination, Wise headed out first and open the door for Manato.
"Come on Manato, let's not be late"
As they walked and talked about what they've been up too, still super shy and awkward, they went inside the theater. Wise ordered a XL soda to share, and popcorn, as for Manato getting a candy for wise. His favorite.
The movie went on, both sharing the drink and eating popcorn, every scary scene and jump scares, Wise would hold Manatos hand, as Manato didn't mind and held it longer than should have, made sure he was safe. Manato would put his tail on wise so he can hold it while he was scared, as it made him Manato feel happy, he was no longer paying attention to the movie, only to Wise.
The movie ended and Wise walked out holding Manatos hand, and threw the trash away.
"Did that scare you proxy?" Manato keeps holding his hand as they head to the peer.
"Wh-what? No no no, I was, well just didn't want to deal with the jump scares." Wise fixes his posture and doesn't realize he still holding Manatos hand.
As they arrive at the peer both the men look up at the stars.
"Well even if it did, I would never judge you. You're still brave in other factors." Manatos tail wages as he smiles and looks up.
"M-Manato, thanks. I mean you are brave yourself, you saved me and eous many times. Thank you for that, I never really go to repay you, you know?" Wise looks at Manatos hand holding his and his wagging tail, and comes up with an idea on to repay him.
"Don't mention it, plus it's not all the time that happens, you stay saf-." as he feels a kiss on his cheek and looks over at Wise who is hiding his face away and looking in the other direction.
"Wi- Wise" He grabs his face and pulls him closer to his.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me, I just thought maybe, I'm sorry" He looks down and feels a peck on his head as Manato holds him close, tail waging super fast.
"Shhhh, Wise, we known each other for a while, and I think you're the coolest person in my life right now, would you like to be my boyfriend."
Time stopped and Wise just stared at Manato, looking at him and the stars. "Of course I would." they hug it out and Manato go so excited kissing all over Wise face, and apologizing.
Ring Ring Ring Ring
Belle is calling and wise picks it up, having Manatos head on his shoulder.
"So big bro how did it go?" She smiles and realizes Manato is on his shoulder but waits for him to say something.
"We're dating. Officially" As he heard the other line go into cheering and Yuzuha asking everyone for twenty bucks after loosing the bet. Wise hangs up the phone and looks at Manatos puppy eyes and kisses him.
"You're my proxy now" Manato holds him tight and Wise smiles.
"Yes, all yours."
