Willow squinted, adjusting her eyes to the beam of light peeking from behind the curtains. A digital alarm clock blared loudly beside her, the beeping a constant buzz inside her mind, even after she fumbled to turn it off without moving from her position on the surprisingly comfortable mattress. She draped an arm across her eyes, protecting her gaze from the bright light invading the room, whilst her other hand tangled in the hair of the figure rested against her chest. Her fingers ran through the strands.
"Good mornin', sleepyhead." Willow murmured, moving her hand to rub up and down Player's back. Stirring, Player nuzzled her face further into Willow's chest. "You're cute."
"Shut up..." Player grumbled, earning a soft chuckle from the wolf beneath her. The hand gliding along her back moved to pat at it instead.
"Come on, we gotta get up."
"Whyyy...?"
"Our turn for the supply run, darlin'."
"Pony and Zizzy can do it..." Willow let out a sigh, patting Player's back once more.
"Up."
Continuing to refuse to move, Player clung to the material of Willow's clothes firmly. "I knew I tired you out last night, but I didn't realise I tired you out this much." she says, a small hint of amusement in her tone. Player moved her head, looking up at Willow, her expression the exact opposite of impressed. "You weren't complainin' though, were you, baby?"
"I am not above throwing you into a hoard of infected."
"Ouch, your words wound me." Willow smiled sarcastically, enjoying the look of annoyance that spread across Player's face.
"You're a pain in the arse."
"Mmm." Willow hummed. "You love me."
"I hate you." Player corrected. Willow hooked one of her finger's under her chin, lifting it up ever so slightly.
"I hate you too. Now get up."
"Only if I can wear your jacket because I'm cold."
"You can wear it whenever you want, sweetheart."
