Weekly dinner had become a constant; at first, it had just been Mel going, then one night Santos had joined her. The next week after that, Whitaker was coming along too. Then Samira, and Dr. Robby. Dana hadn't wanted to at first, but they'd finally worn her down and she had taken over coordinating things (in true Dana fashion). Garcia had come a couple times. They had been trying to get Dr. Abbot to come, but so far, they hadn't had any luck.
Tonight though, Dana had switched the location last minute and refused to tell them why, just saying they would find out. They all showed up at the new meeting place and found Dr. Abbot waiting for them. "Dana tells me I've been missing out," he said. "Figured I'd give it a shot."
At the end of the night, they agreed to do it in the same place the next week as long as Dr. Abbot agreed to come again. The ER could be crushing sometimes, and it was nice to hang out with your coworkers in a non-work setting.
