‘Danny has been acting a bit off lately. He’s been acting more on instinct than usual. I think I know what's wrong now. I should go ask Ember to help shouldn’t I? Yeah she would definitely help.’
So she goes across the hall to Danny’s room and knocks on the door
“Danny I’m going to Ember’s for a bit!” she heard Danny rush towards the door, he swung it open and said “ wait Elli I didn’t know you were going anywhere, did you eat yet?”
Elli pauses for a second cause she didn’t want to lie and automatically say yes “No I thought maybe I could eat with her” he sighs and says "No I get it here take these crackers since you want to eat with her just have a little on the way so your stomach doesn’t hurt, okay.” Her stomach as if on cue grumbles, so she takes it “thanks I didn’t even realize I was hungry” with a laugh but…
'Danny looks sad. He says he used to not eat a lot because he didn’t want to eat at home other than cereal.'
It looks like Danny noticed she was lost in thought and ruffles her hair and starts scenting her “hey I just got done making it look good”

Danny snorts ”Yeah, okay see you when you get back” kisses her forehead, pushes her out the doorway and closes the door.She walks in the direction the portal is.
‘I should probably eat some'
she took a bit of the cracker “wow how could a cracker taste so good “ no wonder this is his favorite kind.
'I go up the stairs and see the faint glow of the portal. I smile. I can't wait to meet Ember and tell her the slightly good news.'
