“Ichinose, why is Hopper-1 under a box?” “He wouldn’t go back in his card, so I made a time out corner.”

“And just in time,” Minato noted as Houtaro dashed into the classroom mere seconds before the bell rang.

“...I can explain.” Houtaro sheepishly replied as his mother looked at the ruined state of the kitchen.

“ICHINOSE! GET YOUR CHEMY TO STOP FLYING AROUND MY HEAD!”

“I guess Chemies dislike bad weather too,” Houtaro murmured as Hopper-1 buried himself into the blanket.

“What do you think of my new outfit, Spanner?” The boy in response blushed brighter than Daioni.

“Houtaro, don’t drink that! It’s alcohol!” “Eh?! But I see Hopper-1 drink it all the time!”

“Hopper, if you can’t learn to stay quiet in the middle of the night, you’re staying on Chemy World instead of sleeping in bed with me!”

“...Does anyone feel tempted to make an excuse?” Sabimaru whispered into Rinne’s ear as Houtaro presented his latest cooking attempt.

Lachesis watched in awe of the fireworks, unaware of the boy who only had eyes on her.

“Never thought I'd see a choir of Chemies,” Renge muttered as she saw Houtaro conducting.

“Don’t. Ask.” Spanner commanded as he walked in with ribbons in his hair, thanks to losing a bet with his girlfriend.

“I know you don’t like this, but you need to stay hidden,” Houtaro scolded as the little grasshopper Chemy was shoved into the bag.

“I promise to make a world where Chemies and humans can live together!”
#18 - Dream
She rolled her eyes as she saw him napping in class, muttering in his sleep dreaming about Chemies.
#19 - Candle
“Okay, steady and… go!” With a flick of his ring, the spell lit the candle on fire.
#20 - Talent
“Rinne, you make alchemy look so easy. What’s your secret?” “It’s just natural to me… and I do more studying, which you clearly slack off in.”
#21 - Silence
The room remained quiet… until a loud explosion courtesy of the boys rang out.
#22 - Journey
Geryon finally fell, and he let out a resounding “Gotcha!”
#23 - Fire
“I’m so sorry about the experiment, it won’t happen again!” Houtaro bowed in shame as the others quickly grabbed the fire extinguisher.

“Isn’t this usually the other way around?” Renge asked as she saw Rinne pick up Houtaro in a bridal carry with ease.

Valvarad’s mask cracked, but he wouldn’t give up just yet.

“Hey, no alchemy allowed!” Houtaro protested as Rinne formed a giant snowball to hit him.

“…At this rate, Spanner, I’m gonna clean up after all your fights." “Shut up, Ichinose!”
#28 - Forgotten
“Why is your bag moving, Ichinose?” “...Oh no, I forgot to let Hopper out!”

“Kudo-san I know this may seem out of line but… would you go to prom with me?”

He blushed when he realized he was napping on Rinne’s shoulder the entire time.

He clutched the yellow flower in his hand, vowing to never fail his partner again.

“I’ll see you soon,” Rinne waved before heading to the plane for London.

Visits to Chemmy world were always nice… when they’re not trying to set him and Rinne up.

He never knew Rinne would look so pretty in a dress.

“Lachesis, please put me down-” “Well next time, rest instead of going to the lab sick!”

Everyone couldn’t help but laugh as they saw Houtaro chasing after Hopper-1 yet again.

“...Nijigon, you’re a bad liar. Now what really happened to the cake?”

“You’re gonna be stuck with me for a long time, Spanner.”
#39 - Overwhelmed
One hour later, the homework had completely beaten him, and he practically sobbed with relief when Rinne offered to help.

“Be quiet, everyone. Ichinose’s still exhausted from the exams and needs rest…”

Her lips touched Spanner’s, and she knew this was worth waiting for.

GolDash roared, and Houtaro quickly sped off after the monsters.

Spanner never thought love could be so amazing until Lachesis came into his life.

As he saw the dents on his locker door, Houtaro noted that Hopper-1 should remain on him at all times.

“Deep breaths, Houtaro. You can do this.” He told himself as he prepared to confess to the one person he cherished most.
