Work Text:
Lou had decided to quit nicotine again, and it was a lot harder this time around.
Withdrawals were hitting her hard, coming to a head when she found herself hunched over a gas station toilet, puking up what little she'd eaten that day.
Jackie stayed close to her in that small bathroom, holding back her hair and rubbing her stomach with a firm yet gentle touch.
"I'm sorry" Lou said in between retching gasps. Jackie swore she was crying.
"None of that, baby" the bodybuilder replied gently. "I've got you. In sickness and in health, yeah?"
"You tryin' to marry me, Jack?" Lou teased before lurching forward and puking again. Jackie chuckled sympathetically and kissed the other woman's cheek, not minding the clamminess.
"Survive your withdrawals first, then we can talk about marriage"
