Chapter Text
Kalos Region
“After them!”
“Don't let them escape!”
Shouting from behind, a bunch of humans and their Pokémon are chasing down a fox and a green spiny mammalian Pokémon.
With both Pokémon running through the trees and jumping through different rubbles and twigs, they know they're not the only Pokémon around.
“Crobat! Aerial Ace!” A blonde woman in a red dress shouts.
“Espeon! Use Psybeam!” A golden haired woman in a red suit orders.
“Ariados! Use String Shot!” A silver haired woman in a red suit calls.
Ariados spits out a web string that unfortunately misses as it hits a tree, only for Espeon to leap and howl as it shoots a blue laser with magenta rings around it.
As a Psybeam misses, a fox and a spiny nut jumps off a tree, only for a fox to shoot embers at those that's chasing the duo.
Before they escape, Crobat misses as the duo duck, witnessing a diagonal cut on a tree by Crobat's wing which makes it look like a samurai’s cut.
Fortunately, Crobat was whipped as the duo nodded and continued running, avoiding the strings and beams, only for them to slide as they exclaimed by a blazing fire right in front of them.
“They stopped! Houndoom! Use Flamethrower again!” A man in a red suit orders.
As Houndoom fires a burst of flame out of its mouth, both the fox and the spiny nut are taking a different direction, only to stop in front of a dark blue haired man in a long red coat as he's standing with Carracosta.
“I'm afraid you're not going anywhere. Once our boss sees this, you'll be allowed to become a part of this beautiful world.” The blue haired man in a long red coat said while revealing 2 stones which caused the fox and the spiny nut to take a few steps back in fear.
“Pin…” The spiny nut doesn't want that.
“Grr…” The fox growls with hostility, readying his flames to shoot at those that have been chasing them down.
Unfortunately for the duo, they're surrounded by the people in red as well as their Pokémon, making the duo prepare to defend themselves.
Luckily, water splashes on Houndoom's face, causing the group to gasp as they witness a shadow leaping and throw waves of water at other Pokémon.
“What the!? Another Pokémon attacking us!?”
“Half of you! Get that Pokémon! The rest of us will… Huh!? Where'd they go!?” The blonde woman in a dress exclaimed.
“They went that way!” A grunt in red points at the duo of Pokémon running again.
“Everyone, split up and make sure they're captured!” The blue haired man orders as Carracosta growls as he sucks the water.
As Carracosta blasts water like a hose, the fox and the spiny nut gasps, only for the water to splash at them as they yell.
As they reach the light, they're at a cliff where they can finally escape.
“Aerodactyl! Use Hyper Beam!” The silver haired woman in a red suit orders as she sends out Aerodactyl.
As Aerodactyl shows up out of the forest, it's charging a red light in its mouth, only to fire a large red beam, causing the fox to jump in front of the spiny nut and fire an ember.
Until an explosion is loud and large enough to cause a strong wind, making all the bird Pokémon fly as the source is covered in smoke.
Coughing, a group of people in red are seeing nothing as the Pokémon duo vanishes.
“No way!” The man in red gasps out of shock.
“Damn it! We lost them!” The woman in red snaps as she slams her fists on the ground.
“Pierce, we're sorry.” The blonde woman apologises.
“Don't be. They're still close, so follow the river from below.” The blue haired man in a long red coat, Pierce, signals the people in red to follow the stream that shows both Pokémon moving.
“Sir!” The people in red nod and then run alongside with their Pokémon.
As the group leaves, Pierce turns on a speaker.
“Boss, the Pokémon from the professor's lab are on the run. They were identified as Fennekin and Chespin. Froakie is already taken by a trainer until another one shows up.” Pierce confirms the status of 3 Pokémon.
“I see. And if they escape, then let them. It'll lead us to our goal.” A man's voice calls behind the speaker.
“Sir.” Pierce nods and signals Carracosta to dive down towards the river and swim towards Fennekin and Chespin.
Below as the river stream moves, Chespin is lifting a battered Fennekin, even though he’s also roughed up as well.
“Pin! Chespin!” Chespin shouts as he swims towards a tree.
“Found them!” A woman’s voice shouts, alerting Chespin to keep swimming.
“Malamar! Use Psycho Cut!” Another woman shouts as she commands her Malamar.
Malamar leaps from the ground and swings its tentacles by making a wave cut that's charging towards Chespin and Fennekin.
Instead of grabbing the tree branch, Chespin immediately pushes himself and Fennekin down under the river, causing the tree branch to cut.
As Malamar misses, a shadowy figure charges, catching Chespin and Fennekin by clenching his flippers separately as Chespin yells and flails his legs while Fennekin is unable to move his body.
“Ches! Chespin! Chespin!” Chespin is trying to free himself, knowing it's impossible to deal with Pokémon far stronger than the duo combined.
As Carracosta chuckles, he approaches the people in red as they open the cages for both Pokémon.
“Prepare the Chesnaughtite and Delphoxite. Once they evolve, their Mega Evolution will prove to them how powerful and beautiful they are.” The golden haired woman in a red suit chuckles as she's waiting for the opportunity.
“Sister, what's going on with Carracosta’s fin?” A silver haired woman points up, only for the golden haired woman to exclaim.
Carracosta is struggling to keep a straight face as he's feeling something scorching on his fin.
Afterwards an explosion causes Carracosta to yell as he drops Chespin, making Fenneking catch Chespin and dodge from all the Pokémon moves the people ordered.
As Fennekin and Chespin are cornered, the duo are looking at a waterfall cliff, making them nod and look at a horde of people in red and their Pokémon.
Then…
Fennekin barks a signal, only to push Chespin and jump as Chespin screams.
As they're gone, a horde is silent, watching their targets disappear on them.
“They're gone…” A man said calmly.
“Yeah.” The other man agreed.
Houndoom barks as it also agrees.
Afterwards…
“Why!?” A woman wails as she kneels and raises her arms.
“Why must we fail!?” A man asks while posing along with the fellow people in red.
“What the hell are you clowns doing? This isn't some fashion performance nor a circus.” The blonde woman groans as she along with the golden haired woman and the silver haired woman sigh with embarrassment.
“But ma'am! Our targets have escaped!”
“No kidding, captain obvious! Now how're we supposed to find them!?”
“It's okay, Domino. We got our location.” Pierce shows up as he and the people in red are watching sunrise, revealing behind the trees is a certain town.
A town that is where Fennekin and Chespin are heading to.
“Aquacorde Town?” The silver haired woman gasps.
“Not just that, Vaniville Town. So this is where they're going.” The blonde woman, Domino, is seeing why Fennekin and Chespin are hiding, meaning they're in need of a trainer to protect them.
It turns out that their next objective is to reach to both Aquacorde Town and Vaniville Town as a way to capture both Fennekin and Chespin.
At the bottom, they made it.
Hiding behind the trees, Chespin is lying Fennekin on the ground, only to witness Fennekin himself all battered, bruised and burnt, even Chespin suffers a few as he holds his arm.
“Pin…” Chespin grunts, realising that Fennekin is struggling to breathe.
Then it hit him, remembering back at the lab as one of the professor's assistants done some emergency procedures to a trainer, making him put his paws on Fennekin's chest.
“Chespin! Chespin!” Chespin shouts as he starts to push down Fennekin's chest as he syncs his words. “Ches! Pin! Ches! Pin! Ches! Pin!”
While he keeps going, he notices the grass becoming greener as well as the flowers bloom around him and Fennekin.
To his surprise, he sees a large blue stag that flashes rainbow horns, as it approaches Chespin and Fennekin.
What's more surprising is a bunch of wild Pokémon surrounding this said stag as it bends its neck down as it sees Fennekin dying.
“Ches! Chespin Chespin!” Chespin tries to tell the stag that his friend is dying and is begging to save his life.
After Chespin's plea, the stag raises its hoof and then pushes it down on Fennekin's torso, causing Fennekin to spew water out of his mouth and then cough as he finally breathes again.
Then he rests, making Chespin feel joy.
“Chespin! Ches, Chespin!” Chespin thanks the stag of life, making the stag of life bow and then turn its head towards the location where Chespin should go along with his friend.
Chespin understands as he nods, knowing that he must head to Vaniville Town, making him pick up Fennekin and give him a piggyback ride while avoid poking his quills.
“Chespin!” Chespin waves as the large stag of life Pokémon nods and then turns away, leaving the forest as it vanishes, even the rainbow glow fades away.
Finally, Chespin walks forward after feeling light, meaning there's a chance to reach to a safe haven.
In yesterday's scenario, a girl returns home with the shopping bags as she kneels down and stroke Rhyhorn's head, knowing Rhyhorn enjoy the honey blonde girl's company.
On the other scenario, the boy is leaving the lab as he and his new Pokémon Froakie are starting their adventure together.
Yet another scenario, a girl is heading towards a house where Rhyhorn is at, making Rhyhorn call with a smile as the girl greets back.
Finally, at the airport near Lumiose City, a boy and his Pikachu are excited that they've arrive to Kalos Region.
This is the beginning of the story of eternal life and wilting destruction.
