"He's Gorgeous"

Summary:

He really was the luckiest man ever, huh?

He was seriously in love with this man.

He couldn't help but feel immense love whenever he looked at him.

Notes:

This was not beta read, pardon any mistakes. This was also rushed.
Also, there's a fanloid by the name of "Kamui Gakuko" whom I HC as Gakupo's younger sister.

Work Text:

The two idols were sitting on the couch watching a TV show late at night, or early in the morning depending on how you decide to look at it.

Gakupo's sister had gone to bed a while ago and neither of them were scheduled to have any concerts for the next few weeks, so they decided to have some fun today. They were doing the same activity that Gakuko had always referred to as “the world's stupidest activity”, which was binging terrible, low budget TV shows and movies while criticizing how bad they were.
From the acting to the soundtrack to the plotline, these shows and movies were awful and inconsistent. They watched them only to complain about how trashy they were.
They were watching and discussing the movie before Kaito realized that Gakupo had been silent for far too long. When he turned to look at him, he realized that the taller man was practically half asleep.

“Gakupo?” called out the older man. Though the only response he got was incomprehensible mumbling which sounded almost like saying “I'm still up”.

Yup, the younger man was too far gone to register anything anymore.

Kaito turned off the show before turning on a calm and gentle children's movie. He knew that Gakupo needed some sort of noise to sleep to but he would also be upset if Kaito had continued watching whatever 2000’s low-budget show they were watching without him.
So a low-stimulation children's movie it is.

The blue haired man moved from his cross-legged position into extending both his legs onto the couch. Then he pulled Gakupo from his arm and rested his head on his chest so that he was practically laying on top of him.
The taller man soon drifted off into sleep as his lover was caressing his head.

Kaito's eyes parted from the TV and instead landed on his now sleeping lover.

“He's gorgeous,” he thought to himself.

It was true, Gakupo was voted as one of, if not, the prettiest male Vocaloid idols.

He was, by all standards, absolutely gorgeous.

Kaito stared at the man sleeping on him for what was longer than considered appropriate, but he couldn't help it.
Soft, purple strands of silk matched with ice blue eyes and long lashes. Not to mention, tanned skin which shouldn't go well with such bright colors but it somehow worked out.
His confidence in whatever outfit he had on did wonders at highlighting his already-attractive features too. He could put on basically anything and his confidence elevated the outfit.

Kaito didn't know how he was able to get someone so picture perfect. It's like Gakupo was specifically tailored to be the most perfect person ever.
He was pretty, he had a good voice, and he was smart too.
All of that, and he was currently sleeping on Kaito's chest as Kaito played with his hair.

He really was the luckiest man ever, huh?

He was seriously in love with this man.

He couldn't help but feel immense love whenever he looked at him.

The feeling he got whenever he was with Gakupo matched the feeling of walking home after a long trip. It was unexplainable, but it was something like that.

They've been together for four years by now and Kaito was planning to propose sooner rather than later. He had their entire wedding planned out in his head and had been looking for a good tailor who'd take a difficult commission. He was going insane just thinking about what Gakupo would look like in a white dress or suit, whichever one he preferred. He thought he'd look absolutely gorgeous in white with a rose bouquet in his hands.
He had already bought the ring, he was just waiting to discreetly ask Gakupo if he'd prefer a dress or suit and he was looking for a tailor.

He was gonna marry this man no matter what.
He knew their relationship would have the best ending possible.

He knew it from when they first got together— not only was Gakupo the perfect person for Kaito, Kaito was the perfect man for Gakupo as well.

Gakupo always reminded Kaito how everybody leaves him once they saw the side of him that woke up screaming in the middle of the night, the side of him that started sobbing and breaking stuff for no reason, the side of him that calls frantically in an inconsolable state,
Kaito didn't leave Gakupo for any of those reasons, and he would never. He would do anything for his comfort and happiness, no matter what it may be.

He wasn't a kid with a crush, he was a man in love.
