Inside Maleficent’s Castle, the dark fairy has returned and this time, she wants to conquer Earth. However, Maleficent called In a meeting full Of other Disney villains that were thwarted by their mutual foes. One-by-one at the round table present were as follows including the dark fairy were second-in-command Ursula, Lady Tremaine and her daughter Drizella, Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Hades, Gaston and LeFou, Hans, Mother Gotthel, Scar and Zira, Gov. Ratcliffe, Queen Grimhilde, Prince John, Sheriff of Nottingham, Trigger and Nutsy, Mother Gothel, Doctor Facillier, Queen of Hearts and Clayton were all present for the meeting. However, new arrivals were catching their attention being a weird man in a judge outfit with his cape blowing in the wind with a creepy vulture hovering over him, the figure wore glasses with a stern expression and accompanying him were seven weasels being silly as usual. The dark fairy eyed them and spoke on behalf of the other villains.
“So you’ve come, Judge Doom? I take it that you received my message.”, the dark fairy said as Doom finishing up chastising one Of the weasels for goofing around.
“Yes, Your Highness. I know all too well and it has to do with a rabbit.”, Doom groused. Cruella on one hand grew giddy and Pointed a finger at Judge Doom.
“A rabbit you say? I bet it would fit perfectly for a fur hat. You should know I live for furs.”, Cruella boasted only for Scar and Zira to scoff and growl in annoyance. Ursula glares at the fur fanatic and puts her in check.
“Cruella, will you shut the hell up? We all know you worship furs which Is your undoing.”, the sea witch chided only for Cruella to glare back pointing a finger sneering.
“Says the One who got shish kebabbed by a fricking boat!”
“What did you say? Say that one more time, I didn’t quite catch that.”, Ursula sneered threateningly at the fur fanatic. Before Cruella can object, Tremaine sighed sitting the furhead down.
“Cruella, knock It Off. We got better things to discuss than you defending your guilty pleasures. Continue, Maleficent.”, the noblewoman said stopping the quarrel with Cruella huffing and smoking her cigarette right In Ursula’s face.
“Ignore her, Ursie dear. Anyway, I call this meeting to discuss a big threat to our goal of taking over the world. We all have a common obstacle that robbed us of our goals. Now Imagine that tenfold with powerful princesses but I can’t seem to shake who this rabbit is.”, Maleficent said playing an image on her magic mirror sporting heroines being a Cinderella, Pocahontas, Snow White, Ariel, Aurora, Belle,, Tiana, Mulan, Jessica Rabbit and Rapunzel and an anthropomorphic white rabbit with red tuft of hair, nose and overalls, blue eyes and yellow gloves. Drizella, lady Tremaine, Gov. Ratcliffe, Grimhilde, Gothel, Dr. Facillier, Gaston, Maleficent, Shan Yu and Judge Doom were angered seeing them at an academy of sorts. Judge Doom pointed at that rabbit specifically shouting in outrage.
“That good for nothing Roger! Roger Rabbit has ruined my life’s work! I lost everything thanks to him at a university I Once call home. My experiments and longing to display the arts were deemed too dangerous by the public. If he kept his mouth shut, I would’ve gotten what I wanted.”, Judge Doom griped with the weasel Greasy playing the violin.
“Oh you got it bad, huh? Guess what, buster. I was the fairest of them all willing to run the company of that brat’s father. Until I was screwed over.”, Grimhide growled.
“That good for nothing Cinderella and my brainwashed daughter Anastasia betrayed us for a better life aside from obtaining power and ruthlessness.”, Lady Tremaine ranted with Drizella seethed in anger staring at a smiling Cinderella and her friends.
“NO girl rejects Gaston! No one is determined like Gaston!”, Gaston boasted Only for Jafar to roll his eyes.
“No one’s annoying like Gaston. Do you mind?”
“Yeah. We have better cases than you being turned down by a hottie like Belle.”, Jafar and Iago respectively said only for LeFOu to defend Gaston.
“Hey, you show Gaston some respect!”, the stout kiss-up yelled only for Iago to smirk.
“Ah, shaddup! You kissass!”, the parrot yelled smacking LeFou upside the head only for Maleficent to throw bolts of energy at Iago, Gaston and LeFou in irritation.
“Will you idiots shut up?! One more out of you three and you will be punished. Is that clear?”, the mistress of evil spoke in a commanding manner making the troublemakers stop what they’re doing. To cut it short, Gothel was thwarted from her continued kidnapping and abuse, Ratcliffe griping about his failures of taking over the reservations of Native American neighborhoods, Facillier thwarted of his voodoo plans taking over New Orleans, Shan Yu and his syndicate of Hun warriors unable to take Over the neighborhood of Chinatown. Everyone had empathy for their fellow man or woman for what had done to them despite them quarreling amongst one another. Maleficent nodded and had an answer for everybody.
“You know what made it worse? Thay claimed that the so called Rangers saved them from their predicaments. Including Roger’s. Is that right, Doom?”, Maleficent asked with the judge nodding his head in agreement.
“Correct. That rabbit had quite a connection with the spider clad hare. Spider-Hare that is. That bucktoothed buffoon helped that kid expose me and planted the seeds of my downfall! And I bet, he had something to do with your gripes too.”, Doom said as the villains agreed that their foes knew and assisted the Rangers in some form of fashion into taking them down. All were angry and outraged but Ursula had a hunch and spoke to her best friend Maleficent with an idea.
“Mallie, dearie. I have an idea that would benefit all of us.”, Ursula said as the dark fairy had a warm smile towards the sea witch.
“Surprise me, Ursie.”, she said before the purple sea witch proposed an idea.
“We eachhandled our problems alone with our tormentors. Big mistake. So I figured that we form a legion.”, Ursula announced with Tremaine smirking.
“Like a conglomerate? I like the sound of that. Don’t you, ladies?”, Lady Tremaine gestured to Grimhilde, Drizella and Gothel who smiled evilly of the idea. Drizella smirked the most for she had the urge to take out Cinderella and Anastasia once and for all.
“Anymore takers? You can reject if you wish but you are on your own if you do.”, Maleficent noted but no one dared to refuse such an offer. Ursula and Maleficent smiled to each other and so di Judge Doom.
“Then It is decided. From this moment on, we are now christened as The Legion of Evil. It’s time we destroy our adversaries including those Ranger friends of theirs.”, Maleficent barked as all the villains cheered only for Trigger to accidentally fire an arrow hitting Drizella in the ass.
“Owww! Who did that?! That hurts!”, Drizella bellowed as Trigger chuckled nervously. The younger Tremaine glared growing to 10 ft tall making LeFOu, Gaston and some of the weasels grin Including Sleazy and Slimy. The trigger happy vulture gulped in fear spotting a Pissed off giant Drizella grabbing him putting him to her face.
“C’mon. Calm down. It was an accident. Someone get this woman under control!”, Trigger whined only for the weasels to laugh.
“Oh wow. What a tree, Ruff-Ruff! I’m willing to make her angry just to do it. Ha-ha. Ruff-Ruff!”, Sleazy remarked only to get bopped upside the head by the major domo of Prince John being Sir Hiss.
“Why you lecherous cretin.”, the snake said offended by Sleazy catcalling Drizella. The weasel didn’t care if he’d signed his own death warrant but fortunately, Lady Tremaine sighed and chastised her eldest daughter.
“Drizella Millicent Tremaine, put that simpleton down and sit this Instant!”, the matriarch demanded causing the angry giantess to groan.
“But, Mother! He shot an arrow In my butt! And you, stop ogling at me like that or you’re next!”, Drizella whined showing an arrow stuck on her butt before threatening Sleazy. Gothel went to the pissed off giantess and pulled the arrow out her butt and threw it to the side. Drizella relieved that the infernal projectile was gone thanked Rapunzel’s archenemy. The younger Tremaine shrank back down to her normal size and sat down beside her mother. Trigger gulped only for Sheriff, Prince John, Hiss and Nutsy to shrug and ordered him to turn on the safety of his crossbow.
“Anyway, our first order of business is to take over the academy those do gooders are attending. With them out Of the way, those Rangers won’t have any connections with their friends assisting them. I’ll start off something they’ll never forget.”, Maleficent said as Doctor Facillier chimed in.
“Hmmm. If I may, have any of you heard of The Dark Hour?”, the voodoo specialist asked with Hades, Jafar and Ursula nodding smirking.
“Of course. You’re not the only One here an expert in black magic and phenomenon of poor unfortunate souls.”, Ursula said chuckling. Maleficent and the Other villains were onboard of what Facillier had in mind. They all laughed as a diabolical plan is about to go afoot. Judge Doom who is now part of the Legion smirked to himself with his pet vulture Voltaire smiling evilly hoping to rid his nemesis Roger and help get the allies of the Rangers once and for all.
=====A Few Days Later======
It was nighttime in the city of Buena Vista with many citizens enjoying the nightlife. The full moon lit the sky in all its’ glory. Cars and neon lights made the city Lively where it truly came alive. Music also blared in a mixture of pop, rock, techno and rap. All and all, it was a simple night for everyone in this Californian city.
However,, there were four girls enjoying a stroll along with an anthropomorphic rabbit. All were college aged with the first girl being a redhead with long hair covering her left eye wearing a Purple dress and gloves showing some cleavage looking statuesque, the second girl had strawberry blonde hair in a bun wearing white and yellow attire of a dress looking vigilant like the first One. The third girl is of Native American descent with long flowing black hair, yellow buckskin summer dress with a thin necklace around her neck and the final girl is shorter than the other girls but had pale skin but not sickly, medium black hair with a blue headband, rosy cheeks and wearing a white and teal dress. The rabbit in question was a nerd into science wearing red overalls, yellow gloves, blue bowtie and had a bucktooth grin on his face. All were walking the night sky attending a university nearby but it was summer though. The fourth small girl turned to the strawberry blonde with a confused look on her face.
“Cindy, how come Belle isn’t out with us? I thought school won’t start until a couple months from now.”, the rosy cheek girl said to Cinderella who sighed to herself.
“You know how she gets, Snow. Bellw Is always studying her butt off even if school is out.”, Cinderella noted.
“Belle needs to get out more. There’s more to life than just books and academics.”, the redhead woman said shrugging. The rabbit between her and Snow were puzzled.
“Jessie, p-p-p-please. Belle is just not the nightsy type. But remind me what else are we doing besides enjoying the nightlife of wild animal passion.”, Roger wondered with Jessica and the girls were amused at his choice of words.
“A hero’s work is never done, Roger. But at least we’ll enjoy some excitement together.”, Jessica assured rubbing Roger tenderly. Cinderella looked vigilant but not stiff to not draw any attention explaining to the group.
“Just a Little while of patrolling and we should be heading back to base. Too bad Tiana, Jasmine and Mulan aren’t with us. They’re on another mission in Chinatown fighting off goons of Shan Yu again.”, Cinderella said as the taller revenette rolled her eyes.
“Shan Yu never gives up, does he? Oh well, at least this side of town Is safe. However, I have a bad feeling of what’s going to happen tonight. Animals were acting up especially Percy, Meeko and Flit.”, Pocahontas said worriedly having an intuition going off. Roger cosigned with her on the issue.
“Yeah. The full moon is suppose to stay for three days but it’s staying longer out than it should. My spidey senses were on the fritz.”, the rabbit shuddered. The girls had mixed feelings of what was happening. The group strolled along as regular civilians but they soon sensed danger as Snow sniffed the air and heard animals running crazy feeling vibrations, Roger’s spidey senses went off, Pocahontas sensed the wind direction of the chaos with people running towards them screaming, Jessica scowered with her scouter she pulled out her cleavage and Cinderella glowed her eyes an ocean blue using some sort of supervision. The blonde frowned gritting her teeth of what she saw. Snow turned to her with a concern in her voice.
“Cindy, something’s going On that way! I think it might be—”
“I figure much it’s her. Always leaving a trail of destruction in a trail of her wake! Rangers Assemble!”, Cinderella ordered with a determined face.
“Don’t have to tell me twice, Cindy! P-P-P-Please, allow me.”, Roger smirked before changing into his red spider attire with his cottontail sticking out of the tail hole of his costume, it also has white lenses for eyes with black plastic outlines of the cowl covering his entire head with the rabbit’s head and four spider legs on each side of it as the emblem on his chest. The costume instantly slipped on Roger thanks to a hidden costume ring beneath his gloves becoming the friendly neighborhood Spider-Hare.
The other girls had their Own costume rings as they instantly trandsform into their alter-egos without anybody else noticing. Cinderella’s attire has a mask on her face resembling a domino style with white lenses like a Green Lantern with a gold tiara on her head, a yellow and white pattern of her battle dress being yellowish-gold on the utility belt, opera gloves, glass slippers and white on the dress top and bottom with a nightingale insignia on her chest. The leader also wielded a gold wand as the heroine Captain Nightingale. Jessica’s outfit is like Samus’s Zero Suit from the Metroid series but purple. She also wields assortment of weapons being paralyzer guns, jet shoes and a laser whip. She also has Her hair done in a ponytail wearing her scouter donning the persona of Violet Fox. Pocahontas’s attire was buckskin leotard similar to Wonder Woman’s but she was barefoot with the black trimming on the costume. Her necklace charm was that of a spiral of the wind. Her mask was a dark green with her eyes glowing within it. A small demonstration of the wind being controlled upwards into a breeze waving her hair made her majestic and regal yet gentle like her element. She’s known as the Wind Waker. Finally, Snow’s attire is unique with red and blue dress with a blue corset and ruby red shoes. But what was unique was her cute yet sharp fangs like a cat and made a loud panther roar taking on Her persona as Miss Menagerie. She then flew her arms like an eagle up in the air to join the other girls who can fly. Roger however used his webs to swing from building to building following the group to the adversary causing mayhem.
“All right, everyone. Keep your senses open for her. She’s awfully close.”, Captain Nightingale ordered as the four girls were in a V-formation. VF flying in her jet boots nodded eyeing what was On her scouter.
“Don’t worry. My scouter says she’s close. Real close. In fact, her power level is going off right now!”, the redhead said scanning with her scouter on Her left eye. Menagerie gasped at the damage below with buildings jacked up, people limping and scrambling and manhole covers tossed everywhere.
“Oh my! This is horrible.”, Menagerie shuddered using her bird’s eye vision of an eagle to look below of all the damage of the sector of the city. Wind Waker looked around scouting for survivors and sensed some life forces.
“But at least there are survivors and no lost lives as of now. We better hurry and put a stop to it before there will be.”, Wind Waker noted after using her shaman abilities. Spider-Hare swung beside the girls with an assuring look.
“No worries, ladies. No one’s goose will be cooked tonight. Wait a minute, my spidey senses are telling me that she’s dead ahead! Look!”, he yelled causing the girls to look straight ahead. Nightingale glared with slits making the group fly faster in Pace. Spider-Hare swung faster to the nearest buildings in Hopes of zeroing in on the threat. Not only that, he and Snow used their senses to pick up on another criminal with the latter being able to smell it close.
“Roger, I smell another criminal. I’m afraid she’s not alone.”, Menagerie said in worry as the webhead rabbit nodded.
“I can pick it up too. There’s many of us and only both of them.”, Roger boasted only for Nightingale to shake her head.
“Careful, Roger. We need to be mindful and not get overzealous. It hinders the mission. But I wonder who might be aiding Her in the destruction?”, Nightingale warned with Jessica agreeing.
“She’s right, Honey Bunny. Who knows what Kind Of trouble we might get in to.”, Violet Fox said as the Rangers were closer to the battlefield.
“Hahahaha! Run, you little cowards! I always get what I want!”
A voice bellowed with people running for cover from two destructive villains. The first one who bellowed was a 10-ft tall giantess throwing cars at pedestrians. She had long black hair down to the upper middle of her back and is peach skinned. The lady had a bulbous nose and red lipstick wearing a magenta strapless dress with a thick muscular physique with large feet. She had her blue bow on top of her head with matching earrings. The giantess cackled evilly kicking armed guards in the face like a football across the zone. To make it simple, this woman unbeknownst to Cinderella is none other than Drizella undergoing her persona as Brutella.
Brutella gritted her teeth at tanks pointing their guns to shoot the metahuman. The officer with a stern voice makes a ditch effort to put a stop to the rampage. The giantess growled standing her ground with the second menace stopping what he’s doing on the ground in a toy soldier suit being a bat with a peg leg and a crippled wing piloting it. The officer then yelled out at his megaphone.
“You two are surrounded by the BVPD! You’re under arrest! Put your hands up or we’ll use force!”, he yelled inside the vehicle. Brutella and the bat fellow scoffed refusing to back down.
“You wretched fools! You dare to pointing a gun at me?! Have you gone crazy?!”, the giantess yelled while the bat in the mini mecha cackled.
“Ha-ha-ha! We like to see you try, coppers! Try fighting this!”, he cackled firing pellets at the police who had no Other choice but to defend themselves.
“Fire at will! Shoot to kill!”, the commanding Officer yelled as the subordinates fired bullets from their guns and tanks at the villains. The projectiles didn’t penetrate Brutella but it agitated her as she waved her arms in rage. The bat however dodged every bullet firing at the men before hitting them with knockout gas. To make matters worse, the ammo went out. It made the cops sweat in fear seeing Brutella charge and destroy the patrol cars in heavy rage. She then Picked up the quivering officer in her fist growling menacingly.
“I’ll ought to teach you some manners, cop! Pointing and firing guns at a lady’s not nice!”, Brutella roared leaving the man speechless. The Other men and women on the force didn’t know what to do.
“Damn, our weapons are useless! And the suspects got an officer in hostage!”, the leader said as the bat cackled at the giantess.
“Better apologize or big girl sends you bye-bye.”, the bat said firing and pelting other officers with exploding BBs. The two villains did more destruction until the brute giantess gets peppered in the jaw by an angry Captain Nightingale causing the officer to fall in the air only for the web from Spider-Hare to catch him. The bat wasn’t as lucky either for a gust of wind made his machine go haywire while a charging headbutt sent him flying to the floor. Both villains got up and glared at the five Rangers crossing their arms sternly. The headbutt belonged to none Other than Menagerie who morphed back from her rhino form. The cops retreated to fall back and let the heroes do their thing. Nightingale spoke first on behalf of the team.
“Brutella, you never learn. Do you?”, the strawberry blonde hissed pointing her wand at her stepsister. The Giantess scoffed and glared sneering.
“Hmph. Well if it isn’t that goody-goody birdbrain and those pesky Rangers! Always here to ruin my day!”, the giantess snapped.
“And they have that Spider-Twerp too!”, the bat added in causing Roger to frown.
“Long time, no see, Fidget! Up to your old tricks, eh?”, Spider-Hare quipped crossing his arms. Fidget cackled before Jessica added.
“Cut the act, Fidget and Brutella! You both got some nerve to destroy the city this late at night. How about we take you down to jail one-way.”, the redhead threatened holding on to her laser whip.
“You Rangers make me sick especially you, Nightingale! Nothing would satisfy me more than to put you under once and for all after I take out your friends first!”, Brutella barked only for the blonde to glare at the threat.
“No, you won’t! You won’t get away with this!”, Captain Nightingale hissed. Wind Waker generating the breeze around Her stepped forward unfazed by Brutella’s threatening demeanor.
“The choice is yours, Brutella. Either step down or fight.”, Wind Waker advised but Fidget smirked to Brutella who mutually smiled back before making a choice.
“Try us on for size, chumps!”, Fidget cackled firing his weapons of the toy mech pelting the Rangers. Spider-Hare readies his webs while Jessica teams up with him to fight the maniacal bat.
“So you choose violence, eh? Then allow me to have this dance!”, Spider-Hare said dashing and dodging bullets and missiles from the mech. Jessica used her agility and acrobatics to evade Fidget and Brutella’s attacks. Nightingale called out to the other two girls for a strategy.
“Ok, ladies! We need to tire out Brutella while Spider-Hare and Violet Fox take care of Fidget! It’ll be difficult for her to take the three of us out.”, the strawberry blonde ordered using her wand to shoot energy beams at her stepsister stinging her. Menagerie used the power of the gorilla to even Brutella’s strength. Wind Waker blew most of the projectiles from the giantess away in defensive manners with her wind tunnels.
“You three are annoying little flies! GRRR!”, Brutella snarled throwing her fists at Wind Waker who used evasive action dodging the punch. Nightingale used her time abilities using Slow in the similar vain as Viewtiful Joe’s as the background around her seems to slow down besides Her. Menagerie picked up a manhole cover and fired it towards Brutella’s legs which it did pepper her only to shake it off. The giantess sneered evilly at the animal empath.
“So that’s the way it is, hmm? Try dodging this!”, Brutella said after dodging vines from Wind Waker’s terrakinesis and Nightingale’s time abilities. The brute picked up a car launching at Menagerie who ran on all fours like a cat dodging the now exploding vehicle.
Spider-Hare swung over a lightpost dodging Fidget’s shots from the mecha distracting the bat. Jessica peppered the mecha’s cockpit with laser whip attacks annoying the bat. The webhead shot webs at the large toy soldier mech gumming up the barrel of the guns. Fidget growled trying to press the button only for the bullets to get stuck in the gummed up barrel.
“GRRR! That stupid rabbit! He gunked up my cannons! Well it’s close and personal now!”, the bat said making the mech charge at the two Rangers. Spider-Hare and Violet Fox watched the mech as the latter turned to her boyfriend.
“Honey Bunny, I might have an idea! Distract him with your web swings while I pepper him with more of my whips! He can’t shoot long range right now.”, the redhead said with Spider-Hare giving her the salute.
“You can count on me, Love Dove! Consider the mech disassembled!”, he said as both were initiating the Plan. Roger fired his webs over nearby posts dodging the mech’s punches. Jessica rolled into an actual ball dodging the next punch from the mech. She then used laser whips to do damage to the front of the mecha annoying Fidget further. Roger saw his opportunity and used his webs to wrap it around the panicking bat.
“Hey, hey! Whaddya think you’re doing, you stupid rabbit! Let me go!”, Fidget yelled trying to break free from the webbing. Spider-Hare smirked ready to swing him around.
“Why takin’ ya around the world in a few seconds! Around and around!”, Spider-Hare chuckled twirling Fidget in a circle until it was in a Tasmanian Devil-like tornado making Fidget scream for help. Spider-Hare had a devious smile and released the web throwing Fidget in the air.
“So long-a, Fidget!”, the rabbit said watching the mech fall down to the ground making the vehicle explode into smithereens. Roger and Jessica watched on as the bat sputtered and coughed battered from a humiliating defeat. Brutella watched the scene for a second and rolled her eyes.
“Stupid Fidget. Now I got to handle those pesky Rangers all by myself now.”, Brutella groused before fending off Nightingale’s Mach Speed ability dashing leaving a trail of rainbow copies of herself while dishing out fast flurries of punches to Brutella’s torso. Meanwhile, Roger and Jessica had to incapacitate Fidget first before joining up with the others.
“Honey Bunny, that was brilliant!”, Jessica said picking up the rabbit kissing him all over. Spider-Hare grinned goofily but he realized what needed to be done.
“Love Cups, aren’t we forgetting something?”, Roger asked as Fidget crawled away from the wreckage to try and get away. Jessica and the webhead hare smirked to each other before going after the bat. Once they got close, Jessica pulled out her paralyzer pistol cocking it at the fleeing bat.
“Where do you think you’re going?”, Jessica said cocking the weapon again with Fidget gulping in nervousness. Spider-Hare pointed his webs in a manner an officer does.
“Freeze, buster!”, Roger demanded causing Fidget to sneer.
“You two are a bunch Of chumps. But hey, when midnight comes is where all of you will be sorry.”, Fidget spat causing the two Rangers to glare.
“What do you mean about that? And what will happen at midnight?”, Jessica interrogated with Fidget cackling.
“That’s for me to know and you and the Other Girl Scouts to find Out. I ain’t talkin’.”, the bat said ending his convo. However, Jessica and Roger had to prevent him from escaping as Fidget was stunned with the paralyzer by the redhead for a momentary paralysis like a taser. Followed by Roger’s webs to tie him up for the cops to Pick him up once the battle is over.
“C’mon, Honey Bunny. Time to help the others.”, Jessica cooed with Spider-Hare swinging away from Fidget leaving the bat muffling over the web on his mouth.
“Hold still so I can smash you all!”, Brutella growled pounding the ground trying to smash Wind Waker after the bird shaped wind Projectile fired at the brute blinding her. Menagerie mimicked a sonic roar of a panther near Brutella’s face trying to weaken her balance. Nightingale shot blasts of energy from the wand stinging Brutella causing her to fall. However, the giantess’s anger fueled her desire to continue the battle.
“She’s as tougher than we thought. But we can be a Lot tougher.”, Nightingale quipped.
“At least Fidget’s unable to battle. Spidey and Violet are here to back us up.”, Wind Waker chimed In standing her ground. In fact, the mentioned fellow Rangers joined the group. This annoyed Brutella as she gritted her teeth.
“This has gone long enough!”, she bellowed as Nightingale crossed her arms.
“For once, I agree. Time to finish this! Let’s go, Rangers! For an all-out attack!”, Nightingale ordered as the Rangers got into their battle stances. Brutella smiled evilly cracking her knuckles.
“Fine but brace yourselves for I have no mercy for you! These streets will be your graves!”, Brutella roared before she charged at them. Spider-Hare swung his way in the air for an aerial assault while Menagerie ran on all fours swiping and biting Brutella’s ankles like a feral cat. Jessica flew in the air with her jet boots dodging the heavy swings from Brutella. The redhead used her laser whips hitting the brute across the face angering the giantess. Jessica charges her pistol firing beams blinding the raging brute. Wind Waker fired wind arrows she conjured at the giantess peppering her with force skidding her backwards. This made Roger hop onto Bruteella’s head irritating her.
“What the? Get off me, Spider-Fool!”, she bellowed before Roger did the unthinkable.
“Not before doing this!”, Roger said grabbing Brutella’s face kissing her in a cartoony fashion On the Lips pissing her off. This stunned the other Rangers but had to worry about taking Brutella down before she marks Roger’s grave. The webhead jumped off of Brutella as her fist collided onto herself. Roger had an idea to lure Brutella near a street lamp for Roger to swing on. She gave chase to him for what he did.
“You’re dead meat now, rabbit!”, Brutella yelled with fury. The girls weren’t far behind as they watch Roger swing his webs onto the lamp. Brutella smiled evilly ready to crush the bunny but grew annoyed when Jessica used her laser whips hitting and stunning the brute ferociously where Roger wanted her to be at. Once that happened, he swung near the giantess but pulled away when her fist collided with Her face multiple times.
“Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself!”, Spider-Hare taunted blowing raspberries while Brutella missed battering her face stunning her. Wind Waker focused on her energy with vines incapacitating Brutella’s legs freaking the giantess out. However, that punch from herself got Brutella in a daze. Nightingale smirked standing in front Of her stepsister charging her fist for a finisher. A flaming spark image of a nightingale appeared surrounding her fist. She then threw the punch with a yell.
“NIGHTINGALE PUNCH!”, she yelled with an explosion of Kinetic energy sending Brutella flying some yards away to the ground dazed and defeated. The five Rangers defeated Fidget and Brutella.
“Wow, we really did It! We saved the day or is It the night?”, Spider-Hare wondered but Nightingale motioned her comrades to follow her,.
“Not yet. There’s one thing we need to do first.”, Nightingale said dashing over to Brutella now in her normal height groggy and groaning in defeat. She then glared helplessly as five Rangers surrounded her with the cops in Hand finishing arresting Fidget.
“Okay, Brutella! The fight’s over. It’s the jail cell for you.”, Nightingale firmly stated crossing her arms.
“Don’t you ever stop being a glutton for punishment?”, Jessica added in before Brutella shot back with a remark.
“Until all of you are crushed down to your knees especially you, Nightingale! Besides, you got bigger problems to worry about than just little Old me.”, the giantess smirked.
“What do you mean about bigger problems exactly?”, Nightingale wondered tilting her head in confusion. Spider-Hare and Violet Fox may have a hunch of what Fidget said earlier.
“We heard it before because Fidget said the same thing about It happening midnight.”, Spider-Hare chimed In causing Brutella huffed.
“Stupid Fidget. No matter for you all better watch your backs. For this time, you all won’t be so lucky and that goes for your friends who believe in you.”, Brutella taunted forewarning the group of what’s to come. After the cops thanked the Rangers did they take Brutella and Fidget away. The five were wondering what they meant by it. Wind Waker had a bad feeling as did Menagerie.
“I’m afraid Brutella’s right. I don’t know what would happen at midnight but since the full moon’s been out for several nights is a bad sign.”, the ravenette said in worry.
“Even the animals are afraid more than just Brutella and Fidget causing destruction. Look.”, Snow said gesturing to the crows still going wild on the buildings and dogs on leashes were pulling and barking scared and cats yowling in fear. Before they knew it, the bell tolled midnight in an ominous tone.
“It’s midnight already! This is going to be bad.”, Snow White shuddered as her animal instincts went off. Roger chattered his teeth though he stood strong on high alert.
“P-P-Please. Don’t worry, girls We should be prepared for any wackos out here. Give them the old one-two buckle my shoe.”, Spider-Hare encouraged as his spidey senses are on high frequency.
“Spidey’s right, girls. We need to stand our ground and be on high alert. Brutella and Fidget are right about One thing, something’s about to happen real soon. Let’s survey the area in the air. We’ll cover more ground that way.”, Cinderella commanded with the group in V-Formation and Roger swinging onto buildings.
Once the final bell tolled, things start to happen instantaneously. The group heard people screaming in place, animals whining and feeling scared with Menagerie’s senses warning her to look down. Once she and Wind Waker spotted what has transpired, they gasped in horror.
“Oh no! Cindy, look down! This is terrible!”, Wind Waker stammered pointing at the scene before the group. Nightingale, Spider-Hare and Violet Fox were also shocked of what happened. Down below were rectangular black boxes with silver handles on the sides laying on the ground everywhere. On the horizon, the full moon turned into a creepy face of a realistic person akin to that from Courage The Cowardly Dog episode of the Harvest Moon.
“Jumpin’ Jeepers! That moon looks creepy! And those aren’t regular boxes down there!”, Spider-Hare shuddered. Violet Fox gasped seeing what the rabbit was talking about.
“Oh my God! They’re caskets! And they’re everywhere!”, the redhead said in deep shock and worry. What made the Rangers’ heart sink were the caskets were in different sizes from large to those capable of fitting a child in.
“This is awful. And they’re all in the streets with a strange symbol on the Lids.”, Nightingale shuddered with the group gulping in terror. However, a codec ringtone from Nightingale’s wristwatch went off as she answered it.
“Tigress, come In. What seems to be the problem?”, Nightingale said trying to keep a straight face as the leader.
“Cap, you won’t believe this! There’s coffins everywhere strewn into the streets of Chinatown!”, the Ranger said on the other side of the commlink.
“It’s the same thing here, too. Not only that, it’s a strange looking moon appearing at the stroke Of midnight.”, Nightingale noted. Wind Waker had a Puzzled yet relieved Look on her face after surveying real careful.
“That’s strange. There’s life forces within the caskets. And everyone’s still alive.”, the nature empath deduced. Nightingale, Menagerie and Roger were relieved of that but Wind Waker’s spiritual awareness and Violet Fox’s scouter went off first before Menagerie and Spidey’s did.
“Wait a minute, Cap! I’ll have to go! There’s creepy creatures stronger coming out Of the woodwork!”, Tigress (Jasmine) said urgently with Nightingale worried for her comrades.
“Tigress! What do you mean?!”
“No time! Red Dragon (Mulan) and Green Shifter (Tiana) need me right now. I suggest you guys do the same. Tigress out.”
Once the commlink ended, the group didn’t have time to ask the Leader for a flying shadow-like creature came at them to attack. However, Jessica used her laser whip fiercely attacking back destroying the creature.
“What the heck was that?! That thing look like Fidget!”, Spider-Hare blabbered only for Wind Waker to have a hunch.
“I’m afraid that’s not Fidget, Roger. That’s probably the creature Jasmine was talking about. Look!”, she said pointing to the ground where hordes of demonic shadow monsters emerged searching for prey. Nightingale frowned but knew something had to be done.
“I’m afraid we need rid the streets of those infernal things! Well, everyone. Let’s land and take care of these monsters!”, Cinderella ordered with the group agreeing landing on the ground.
Once they’re on solid ground did they waste no time to survey for the creatures jumped out of an alley to ambush in droves.
“You all know what to do.”, Nightingale said wielding her wand in battle. Roger saluted before using his webs and acrobatics to fight the monsters throwing one into the others like a bowling pin.
“Strike!”, Roger said but his senses went off when the next horde came at him with sharp fangs exposed.
“Yipe!”, he cried out swinging to the other side of the street launching electrical webbing shocking some of the baddies. Jessica used her agility and jumps while wielding the laser whips killing the shadow monsters. Another tried to get her but Roger grabbed It with his web slinger and tossed It into the blast from Nightingale’s wand. Menagerie called some crows over to attack the creatures before charging at them morphing Into an elephant knocking a Lot of creatures over. Wind Waker harnessed the air turning it into a giant disc and threw It into a horde of shadow monsters blowing them up.
“There’s so many of them! How the heck we’re gonna take them all out?”, Spider-Hare wondered shocking the monster with his electric webs and punched another in the face.
“I know, Honey Bunny. But we have to at least hold them off until there’s no more monsters in the streets.”, Jessica said flipping herself over the shadow creature that was about to bite her. The redhead grabbed the monster by the neck and fired her paralyzer through the beast’s body before she stabbed it with a dagger. The shadow monsters roared and screeched in anger seeing their own slaughtered by five Rangers. However, after a while did it seem to be too much.
Cinderella used her speed and time manipulation to make copies of herself to help in knocking out the monsters with fists and kicks. The strawberry blonde sensed one beast behind her and quickly slashed at it with the magic energy cutting the monster wide open exploding it. Nightingale had an idea where she flew up using aerial assaults with her wand blasting magic killing the shadow monster hordes. Wind Waker also in the air shot wind blasts sending the goons in a wind tunnel destroying them in the process.
“There’s so many of them. Their powers seems to be formidable.”, the nature empath observed the energy of the beasts who are resilient like cockroaches with some down meant more are on the way.
“That’s an understatement. You and I will take the fight in the air while the rest of our friends take the ground.”, Cinderella strategized to Pocahontas who agreed with the suggestion. They both fired at flying beasts with crows attacking the Other beasts thanks to Snow White. Speaking of her, she was surrounded by monsters with the Others worried.
“Snow!”, the group chorused seeing the monsters grab a hold of her ready to eat her. However, an arrow from out of nowhere pierced through the beast and killed It instantly exploding releasing Snow. Before the Rangers can advance, more arrows from bomb arrows, light arrows and fire arrows killed the hordes instantly. The shadow demons and the Rangers turned to see who it was.
“It looks like you’re I n a wee pickle. Allow me to help you lassies and laddie out.”, the voice of a Scottish woman said confidently standing by the Rangers. The figure wore dark blue archer’s outfit with green patterns that had a green outline Of a heart with a bear’s head in the center. She also had red hair and green eyes sporting a mask covering only her eyes.
“Merida, glad you came! I thought I was done for.”, Snow White said gratefully.
“No time for pleasantries, lassie. Time to lay waste to these scoundrels!”, Merida said aiming her bow at the onslaught of shadow hordes.
“The more, the merrier. All right, Bearheart. You cover Snow, Roger and Jessica while Pocahontas and I take the skies. Let’s roll!”, Cinderella said as the Rangers ran at the threat. Spider-Hare shot balls of web at the big shadow beast blinding and shocking it before Roger punched and kicked it square in the face. Another beast charged at him but was shot in the face by more webs. The rabbit jumped and stood behind it with a mallet.
“Hey, bucko! You want one lump or two?”, Roger said with a grin as the monster roared in his face.
“Jeepers, take a breath mint with those two lumps!”, the rabbit chimed before hammering it in the head with his cartoony physics of his large fist knocking It out.
Merida ran at the hordes firing bomb arrows exploding the beasts making them roar in pain. Jessica whipped the monsters with the laser weapon before kicking one dead in its’ face and slashed it to the ground with her dagger. Snow White tired of being prey to the beasts used her screeching scream of an owl piercing through the monsters stunning It before she punched a horde with the might Of a gorilla. Pocahontas and Cinderella continued on their aerial attacks blowing up hordes with magic and arrow wind constructs. The fight raged On for a good while until the bell tolled. Once it did, the monsters disappeared from view as did the caskets. With that, the battle was over with all six Rangers sighing In relief.
“Whew. Glad that was over. I thought for certain our goose was cooked.”, Roger said relieved.
“Honey Bunny, are you Okay?”, Jessica said worriedly rushing to the webheaded hare glomping him.
“Oh, Love Dove. I’m all in one Piece. But what gives? The clock still says 12:00am.”, Roger said confused gesturing towards the clock. The other girls were confused at this.
“Aye. What gives? How’s It still midnight?”, Merida puzzled wondered.
“It’s strange. It should’ve been 1:00 in the morning after the battle.”, Cinderella pondered.
“And the caskets disappeared too.”, Jessica added In. The whole group wondered what was going On but the codec went off with Cinderella answering.
“This is Nightingale. Iron Brain (Belle), what’s wrong? We managed to fight off these strange creatures after dealing with Brutella and Fidget. Not only that, caskets were strewn around the battlefield and a strange yet creepy moon appeared. Have you heard of it from the other girls?”, Cinderella asked as Belle answered that would shock the group to their core.
“That’s what I’m calling you for, Cindy. Remember the full moon still being Out past the typical three days and it’s just 10 days now? Well, the others including yourselves are witnessing a phenomenon within the supernatural realm.”, Belle said.
“Really? What could it be? It was an extra hour the way it seemed still being midnight.”, Cinderella said confused.
“Yeah. And to think we’d be using an extra hour for sleeping. Ah, so nice.”, Spider-Hare chirped.
“The whole team witnessed all the signs lately. In my research, I’m afraid we’re witnessing what’s known as The Dark Hour.”, Belle solemnly told the group who gasped at the revelation.
“D-D-Dark Hour? What’s that?”, Spider-Hare shuddered
“P-P-P-Please don’t tell me this isn’t what I think it is!”, the webhead sputtered while being comforted by Snow and Jessica.
“Yes, the Dark Hour. But I need all of you back at HQ. Cindy, get your team back to the base now. The Other girls are present. I’ll explain everything then. Iron Brain, Out.”, Belle said before ending transmission. The lead Ranger sighed and turned to the group.
“Guys, I’m afraid Belle wants us back at the base. She’ll explain to us what the Dark Hour is and why it is happening.”, Nightingale said with Wind Waker agreeing.
“She’s right, everyone. We may learn more about what we are facing because I sense danger up ahead and the monsters might return.”, Wind Waker sagely advised.
“What are we waitin’ for? Let’s head back right now. We don’t have a moment to lose!”, Merida interjected. The six Rangers were teleported out of the battle zone preparing of what’s ahead.
However, a figure being Diablo watched the whole thing transpire along with the two smiling vultures. They looked at each other in glee on a telephone wire sensing something sinister. It was another reason the animals were freaking out at the presence of the evil fowl. They flew away from the city and back to the castle to report to their fellow Legionnaires.
With Rangers now witnessing first hand of the Dark Hour, they head over to HQ to learn what the phenomenon means. With the world hanging in the balance, the Passion Rangers must put a stop to the source of this diabolical plot. What is this Dark Hour? Who is behind It?
