“It came out in the night. “
Rumors have been spreading around town.
“ It started attacking everything it saw… man… women… children. Trashing buildings when it got inside….“
About how a monster attacked in the night…
“ I heard screams and crying… and when I came out to see what was going on…and I… I saw… it… THAT THING. “
Builderman looked up at the shopkeeper's eyes, seeing how their face was filled with nothing but fear and terror, “ Did you see what it looked like? “ he said in a calm voice.
The shopkeeper nodded, “ It had… pitch black fur… it looked like it came from the shadows itself… and its eyes… it glowed bright yellow… it was something like an animal… a feline… it was terrifying to see… nothing like I have seen before… “
Builderman nodded, “ Any other details you noticed? “
The shopkeeper shook their head, “ No… I was too panicked to take a closer look. I ran back inside before it could see me… I’m sorry if I wasn’t as much help to you, sir. “
Builderman stepped away from the shopkeeper, “ No, it’s alright. You gave me what I needed. I’ll be heading now, making sure that I’ll kill that thing. “
The shopkeeper waved goodbye to Builderman, wishing them luck in their journey.
Builderman walked into the town, feeling the cold air breeze through him, winter hit the town as snow cover everything in its sight. Blood can be smelled in the air, it covered half the town, the walkways, the walls, the shops…. It was terrifying to see what one monster could do alone.
Builderman twitched, feeling fear run down his body. He has seen many monster attacks before but the fear has never inside of him, perhaps it was knowing that you’re just mere prey to other species on the earth.
He stepped in the forest leaving the town, have heard that the monster was last seen running into the forest later in the night. The snow crunched below his shoes as he walked further and further into the forest.
Builderman slowly pulled out his rifle from his bag. His movement slowed, his eyes looking for any signs of the monster.

Builderman stopped in his tracks. Seeing a trail of blood that covered the snow. Bingo.
As follow the trial, seeing the small drops of blood slowly get bigger and bigger over time as he continues following it.
Builderman stopped for a moment thinking how It was weird that there wasn’t any footprints on the snow, perhaps it was some sort of trap? What if, they’re Its luring in their next prey by using their last meal blood.. Builderman shook their head, it can’t be… “ There’s no way.. “
Builderman continued his search, looking at the tall dark trees that surrounded him. But something caught his eye, there was someone laying down in the distance, where the blood trial ends. The person was covered with pitch black, something that came out from the shadows, but their head had golden fur instead, even though people never matched the golden fur, it must be the monster…. Builderman rushed over to the monster.
Builderman see how the monster covered with deep scars, that was spilling out blood onto the ground, it was painful to see.
The Monster turned his head to look at Builderman. He let out a painful groan, feeling his body shivered with agony, he couldn’t but hope that he was going to receive help.
Builderman slowly lifted up their sniper, aiming it at the monster head, ready to shoot.
The monster let out a growl, he tried to swipe Builderman with his claws but it was useless. The monster looked down at the ground, seeing all the blood, he knew it was the end for him. The monster looked up at Builderman, before laying his head back down to the ground.
Builderman watched the monster, seeing how the Monster has already accepted his fate without a fight. This should be easy… but something wasn’t allowing Builderman to shoot, Builderman palms started to sweat, his body shook in fear, he couldn’t get himself to shoot him… he can’t do it. Builderman saw the pain in the monster eyes, seeing how the monster was willing to give his life, he saw his sorrow in his eyes…
He dropped the sniper. Builderman ripped off a part of his clothes, he started to wrap it around the Monster wounds. He ripped off more of his clothes to make sure the bleeding would stop.
The monster eyes watched Builderman, seeing his wounds getting taken care of one by one. He wanted to ask the robloxian why, why do something like for him, but he didn’t want to frighten him more. The monster reached their paw to Builderman, letting them take their hand as a silent thank you.
Builderman saw the monster soft smile in its face, he slowly got up, letting go of the monster hand. “ I’m going to come back for you, I promise. “
The monster nodded, believing Builderman's word.
Builderman turned away from the monster, as he started to hurry back to town before night fall…
