All The Letters I Addressed To You: III

Summary:

He told me that a soul can’t move from one place to another after dying.

And he said that he felt that you had died but weren’t dead.

And the Physician’s Cure that Piper had was fake.

So I simply refuse to believe that you’re dead.

But even if you’re alive,

then what?

You have Calypso with you.

Work Text:

Leo, where are you?

I have searched everywhere I think you could be.

Everyone is telling me to give up.

Give up searching for you.

Give up on “hope” that you’re alive.

But it’s not a hope.

It’s a fact.

But no one believes.

I have been on three quests to find you.

Two with Piper.

And the last one by myself.

Piper told me that she won’t come with me on the quests to find you anymore.

She believes that you’re dead.

Chiron was asking me in what state would I live in,

and all I wanted to say was the state where you are.

When I was going for my quest alone,

Chiron told me,

“This is the last quest, son.”

It’s not.

I won’t give up until I find you.

But the worst thing is that even Annabeth and Nico are telling me to move on.

Today, while I was at the archery range,

she started spewing crap about how it is mathematically almost impossible that you’re alive.

Then she started talking about some obscure myth about the Physician’s Cure.

I had heard about it when I was at Camp Jupiter when I was younger.

I am so pissed, she's treating this like a fucking history class.

And Nico straight up lied to me.

Just before my first quest, he told me that there is a possibility that you’re alive because he doesn’t feel you in the Underworld.

And yesterday he told me that he’s damn sure that you’re dead.

Liar.

And then even if you come back, would you be happy to see me,

or just mad that I ruined your fantasy of making everyone think you’re dead so you can leave everything behind

and live a peaceful life?

I remember that you told me once that you wanted to do this,

because you were done with everything and everyone.

I get it.

I do.

But I still can’t let you go.

Because I still—
