Chapter Text
It has been a month since Fount has been locked away.
Bringer Of Happiness stood in the middle of her garden, watching as Fount slept peacefully in the middle of the flower bed. Her gaze softened as she looked at the sleeping Fount. She slowly walked over to him, reaching out to brush a stray strand of hair away from his face. He was just so *perfect* in her eyes that she was determined to keep him hers and hers alone.
She had isolated him deep inside her garden of flowers, ensuring that no one could reach him. After all, he was far too precious to let something happen to him.
She slowly caressed the side of his face with one of her hands, tracing his cheek.
She longed for him, wanted to touch him, hold him..
Her feelings for Fount had grown into quite the obsession. She knew that she was being possessive and obsessive but she couldn't help it. Not when he was all she had left. He was *hers* and no one else's.
She couldn’t help but frown as she watched his sleep form. She wonder for a moment: “how did it come to this?”
Oh yes. She knew why.
~~~~~~~~
She lured him to her garden, an invitation to visit her after so long of being apart, claiming that she simply wanted to comfort him over their fellow virtues descent into madness. The truth was however, that she herself had also been corrupted.
Firstly, she had to come up with a plan. One to ensure he couldn’t escape her grasp if things became complicated. She had to make sure he couldn’t abandon her. She couldn’t bare the thought of losing her sweet, beautiful, Fount to the corruption of the outside world.
She saw how this mysterious corruption infected their fellow virtues, the devastating loss of their sanity, and the overwhelming fear of that same fate coming to the only cookie she had left in this world.
She knew that she had to act fast. She had no clue how much longer she had before she lost her beloved forever. Every moment felt like the ticking of a timer, a agonizingly slow countdown.
She floats over to a secluded area in her garden, a small nest full of jams and jelly that she kept hidden from her dear followers. The vines, which helped keep the nest hidden in plain sight, happily parted for her. Gently, she pulled out a small jar of jam.
While her garden was full of jam in rivers and lakes, in fountains and waterfalls, the jams which were in these jars were..special to say the least. They were all kinds of colors; yellow, green, orange, and blue.
The blue one was what she needed. She lets out a small sigh of relief at the sight. There was still enough left for her plan.
She beckoned the vines to retreat back around the nest, once again secluding it from view.
Now for the next step.
She flies around her garden, preparing for her beloved’s arrival. She made sure to make tea, just how he liked it, and had her sugar angels prepare food for the two of them to eat.
She knew Fount loved sitting with the bunnies and sheep in her domain, so she made sure they were out and about.
All that was left to do was use her *special* jam for a wonderful gift to her dear Fount.
With practiced ease, Bringer Of Happiness plucked a shiny red apple from one of her favorite trees. She smiles to herself, proud of the one she had picked.
She pulls out the bottle of jam from her smooth pink curls, popping off the cork. A sweet scent wafting through the air. She lets out a gleeful hum as she tilts the bottle downward, allowing the blue jam to slowly fall onto the red apple, coating it in the sickly sweet scent.
Bringer Of Happiness smiles with tears in her eyes as a low chuckle comes from her mouth. The chuckles seem to slowly erupt into a cackling laughter.
As she finally loses her last bit of sanity.
