Chapter Text
"Just need to finish this paperwork before tomorrow..." Yuo said to himself as he poured himself a cup of coffee. He was in the kitchen at Goha corp late in the evening, well after most employees had already left. He had stayed back to finish up with some things, mainly because he just really wanted to make sure things are going perfectly. Taking his cup of coffee, he headed back to the elevator to head to the office.
"Staying late again, Yuo?" Mimi asked as he passed by her. "Yes, I have some work to finish. Why are you still here? Shouldn't you be at home right now?"
"I forgot something in my office. I'll be quick" she said before walking off. Yuo didn't pay much mind to that, instead heading back to his own office. Sitting down at the desk, he returned to typing up the documents. The room was silent, the only noise being the typing and the occasional moment of Yuo taking a sip of the coffee and putting the mug down.
All was silent and peaceful... until suddenly the computer shut off, along with all the loghts in the room. "A blackout? Really?" He sighed in annoyance. This was the third time this week. He had been litteraly writing a document so he could hire someone to fix the issue.
With not much to do, Yuo looked around the room. As this office was shared by all 6- or, eh, 5 of the siblings (RIP Yuka), each person had added their person touch or put in items that they used. Yuo personally had only put one of his puppets here, but the others had added more. The most annoying was Yuro who had put a racing flag in the corner behind a potted plant. Honestly with this much of a mess, Yuo wasn't surprised the others were constantly getting distracted. He looked outside at the brilliant sight of the city he ran. A perfect Utopia.
Or so he thought. Because as he did he heard movement behind him and turned to look back at the room. In the middle was now standing a masked person cloaked in black. Yuo jumped up from his seat almost immediately "How did you get here? Who are you?"
"Yuo, the top of Goha corp. You claim it was because of you that the city is like this"
"I'm aware. I can also see you're using a voice changer. What are you doing here?"
"Must be difficult working with only one eye" the cloaked person teased.
"A low blow, but it doesn't shake me" Yuo said, touching the eyepatch which covered the eye that he lost one year ago "I can still function perfectly"
"Then how about I take the other too!" The cloaked figure said as they drew a knife and rushed towards him. Thinking quickly, Yuo threw the cup of hot coffee in the direction of the killer and bolted. "Not this time" he said as he quickly ran towards the mess of items his siblings had left behind. "It has to be somewhere here..."
"That won't stop me" the killer rushed to him again, but Yuo quickly turned around, using the first thing he could to block the attack. "That was such a perfect picture of your dead sister... a shame she can't be here"
"At least she's still protecting me from the great whatever" Yuo said and ran again, trying to find the one item he needed... "You can't run forever!" The arracker said as they rushed toward him once more. "Got it!" He said just as the killer stabbed at him. Yuo felt a sharp oain in the arm he used to block the attack from his face aa he let out a pained shout. But before the killer could pull the knife back out, he ran to the window, thriwing it open.
"You're not gonna jump, are you? You'll die"
"Then bye, b*tch" he said as he jumped out. As he plummeted towards the ground, Yuo took the item he had grabbed and placed in on his chest before activating it. He stopped falling, instead floating up back to the top floor using Swirly's gavil charge. Swirly had left it there by accident a few days ago and forgot to take it, and Yuo remembered him mentioning that this morning.
"Lucky break, you fake" the attacker said. It was then that the power came back on and the doors opened "Yuo, I heard a scream- WHA?!" Mimi ran into the room, shocked about the sight in front of her. "I can't get you, but..." the attacker closed the window before rushing towards Mimi and stabbing her with a second knife the killer had on them. Yuo banged on the glass window, trying to break it or get it open, but he could only watch helplessly as the killer stabbed Mimi over and over again, until the woman went limp on the ground in a pool of blood. It was just then that Yuo was finally able to break the window and land inside, next to Mimi, momentarily forgetting about the danger. Luckily last second before the killer could murder him, he grabbed a random book off the ground and used it to block the attack. The killer pulled the knife out if the book and went for what Yuo thought was gonna be a stab, only for the killer to kick him instead, knocking the book out of his hands before coming down with a stab.
Yuo felt the blade driven into his shoulder, and let out another pained scream. The killer took a step back "Seeing you suffer brings me true joy" they said. Yuo collapsed on the floor from losing blood, while the killer laughed maniacally. It was then that Yuo pressed on his president badge and whispered "Intruder Protocol. President office".
An alarm blared out through the building as the killer stopped laughing "So that's how you'll play? Fine, you win this round, Yuo"
It was then, that everything went black for Yuo, and what was once a city filled with the light of hope, was about to be plunged into deep despair.
