HOLYY SHHIIT

Work Text:

Defeated by the young girl, the man knows that a heart stained with regret can still carry kindness, even among festering wounds that never truly heal. They are both trying to heal. The man knows healing is not easy, especially when the wounds are emotional ones like theirs.

The ocean-eyed girl has now become the warm sun standing between the man’s heart and the darkness of the world, the very center of his life. The man never thought he would be blessed with the presence of ocean eyes in his life. God knows, he had acted like a bastard from the very beginning.

And when the man looks at his treasure, his most precious thing, and says “I love you,” the girl is left confused. Ah, the man should say it more often, so the sun will not give him that startled look again.

Even though a full minute passed in silence, there was no smile. A loud silence, a silence filled with sound, even though in reality there was only the soft whisper of the wind carrying dancing leaves. There was no one else. As if the two of them were the only ones living in this world, as if they owned all the time fate had given to the earth. For a moment, it felt as though time had stopped. In truth, it felt like it was eagerly waiting for what would come next.

“When have I ever lied about loving you, my Heart?” he said, pulling that sweet body close to his chest. He felt the vital organ beating, pushing its crimson flow onward. Everything was done easily, without regret, in every private rush of blood through his body. Had the man not forced his own heart to stop, he would probably never have seen the Sun wake up with a tired morning smile and messy hair.

The man’s sleeping flower is no longer dark, because his Sun gently wipes away the darkness there. The man does not know why only the young girl can do this, but this is not the first time he has felt his love reflected in her eyes.

“I love you, my Sun. Even if fate wishes for us not to be together in this life, then I will wait until the world allows us to be. Even if a thousand years must pass, with life and death intertwined, I will still wait. If fate says no to us, then I will fight it until fate gives up.”
And if you still do not believe that my love exists and is real, worshipping you every day will never be a problem.
