"Babyyyy~" Sanji giggled out to a scowly Zoro.
The thing is, Sanji did an oopsie poopsie and Zoro's mad about it. So he's doing everything he can to cheer the swordsman.
"I'm sorryyyy..." The twonk whined as he hung on the other's arm like a parasite.
"Oh, how about this? Let's get ice cream, that'll cheer you up, right?"
Sanji was met with silence and furrowed eyebrows. But, he's not gonna let that stop him! The blonde-haired man immediately dragged Zoro to the nearest convenience store to get him ice cream.
"Here we are. Just pick out any flavor you want, moss-head!"
Sanji was again met with silence, along with a turned away face this time. But, he's not gonna let that stop him! He picked out three flavors: mint chocolate, mocha, and strawberry.
"Okay, I've got these three flavors for you to choose from. Which one would you like?"
For the third time now, Sanji was met with silence. Zoro even walked away to check out the liquor. But, he's not gonna let that stop him... right? Zoro thought Sanji would continue playing his game of telepathy, he thought the annoying man would keep pestering him with loving insults and names.
But the thing is... Sanji's not here anymore. His 'oopsie poopsie' was walking into a dark alley and getting in a fight with this Mihawk guy who was way better at the sword. If only Sanji wasn't a stupid dum-dum who decided to take a shortcut, he'd still be alive. If only Sanji wasn't short tempered, he'd still be alive. If only Sanji wasn't a prideful, selfish jerk, he'd still be alive.
Zoro took every bottle of liquor that he could carry in his arms to the cashier. A certain weight was on his back every time he took a step.
"That'll be 5000 yen, please."
Zoro walked home with clinking bottles in a plastic bag. He debated whether to start drinking then and there, but he knew he'd black out. And without that asshole to take care of him while he's drunk, he can't be day-drinking like there's no tomorrow. Which is ironic because with that pervert gone, he hoped, every night before he goes to bed, for him to not wake up tomorrow.
