Chapter Text
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, 1995,Dolores Umbridge Office.
Harry entered the office of the DADA Professor and she smiled at him.
“Take a seat Mr Potter.” Umbridge says.
Harry goes and takes a seat and he sees the black quill and a piece of parchment on the table.
Harry knows what his punishment is going to be as it's been the same for the last few weeks and Harry looks at the scar on his hand.
“You know what to do.” Umbridge says.
Harry takes the quill and he starts to write the first few words of his punishment and as soon as he starts writing he can feel his hand getting hot and the scar that he got from his previous detention opening up.
The more Harry writes the more he wants to scream out in agony and he looks at his hand and he sees drops of blood and he knows that the scar on his hand has opened up.
Harry keeps quiet and he continues to write and as he writes he starts to feel his eyes sting and he can feel tears coming to his eyes but he blinks them away as he won't allow Umbridge to see him so weak.
The more he writes the more blood falls to the ground and he knows that his hand is going to be red and in absolute agony.
Harry has just finished writing I Must Not Tell Lies when Umbridge comes over to him and she picks up his hand and it's worse than he thought it was but he sees Umbridge smile.
“You can leave for tonight Mr Potter as it's clear the message is starting to sink in but you will be coming back tomorrow as the message needs to sink in some more.” Umbridge says.
Harry picks his bag up and he leaves the office and he walks down the stairs and once he is far away he finds an alcove and he hides behind it and lets the tears fall.
The Bloody Baron is floating through the castle and he has a bored look on his face.
Harry is in the alcove and he looks at his hand. It's completely red and the cut is very deep.
Harry goes to touch the cut and he lets out a gasp of pain but he quickly hides it.
The Bloody Baron stops at the alcove and he knows he heard something.
“Whoever you are, I order you to show yourself immediately.” The Bloody Baron says.
Harry comes out of the alcove and he tries to hide his hand as best he can.
The Bloody Baron looks at Harry and something inside of him wants to help the boy.
“Everything ok Mr Potter?.” The Bloody Baron asks.
“Yes sir everything is fine.” Harry says and he walks to his common room.
The Bloody Baron watches as Harry leaves and he knows the boy is hiding something so he follows the boy.
While following Harry, The Bloody Baron notices some blood spots on the ground and he knows that they are coming from Potter.
The more The Bloody Baron follows Harry the more he sees that the boy is not going to his common room but he is going somewhere else and The Bloody Baron is confused.
“Where are you going?.” The Bloody Baron says to himself.
Harry doesn't notice anyone following him, all he cares about is getting somewhere safe.
After walking for at least 15 minutes Harry reaches his destination.
The Bloody Baron stops but he is a few feet away from Harry and he looks around and he sees that they are standing outside the entrance of the room of requirement.
The door to the room appears and Harry goes to open the door but the door opens up first and Dobby appears.
Dobby looks at Harry and he takes his good hand and leads him inside.
The door closes and The Bloody Baron goes to follow but he suddenly stops as he hears a voice speak to him.
“You are not yet trusted by the boy but you will be so keep an eye on him.” The voice says.
“Who is that? Who are you?.” The Bloody Baron asks.
“I am Hogwarts herself and I speak to you as you are going to be helping one of my descendants.” Hogwarts says.
The Bloody Baron has never heard Hogwarts herself speak and he was one of the very first students through her doors.
“What must I do?.” The Bloody Baron asks.
“That boy is very powerful and he is destined to change this school and make it great again.
You will watch him and earn his trust and once you have done that then the time will come to take him to the descendant of Ravenclaw and he will be able to help the boy and once they have found the other one who is descended from Slytherin then they will come together.” Hogwarts says.
The Bloody Baron knows that he must do as he is told and if Hogwarts herself has told him to watch Potter then he must be extremely powerful.
“He has not yet learned of the power he holds so you will need to guide him but if he can convince Alistair to go to Gryffindor instead of Slytherin then he has only shown a glimpse of his true power.” Hogwarts says.
The Bloody Baron is shocked at hearing that as he has never heard of a student managing to convince Alistair to sort them in another house.
“Can I not help him now as it's clear he needs it?.” The Bloody Baron asks.
“Unfortunately you can't as it's not time but I will let you know when.” Hogwarts says.
The Bloody Baron wants to go to Harry but Hogwarts sends some of her magic out and he knows not to go against her so he turns around and goes back to the dungeons.
In the room of requirement Dobby is taking care of Harry and he is currently tending to his hand.
Dobby doesn't like the look of Harry's hand and he starts to get tears in his eyes and one of the tears fall and they land on Harry's hand and he flinches.
Harry feels the tear land on his hand and he looks at Dobby.
“Don't cry Dobby, I'm ok honestly.” Harry says.
Dobby looks at Harry and he knows that his friend and he knows he is trying to dismiss what he is going through.
Dobby takes Harry's hand and he puts it in Murtlap Essence.
Harry feels the Murtlap Essence soothe the cut and he can feel himself getting tired.
After an hour Dobby takes Harry's hand the cut isn't that bad now so Dobby bandages Harry's hand and the boy falls asleep.
“Don't worry master Harry, I'll think of something to help you.” says quietly.
“Fear not Dobby, I already have someone helping your master.” Hogwarts says.
Dobby looks around and he has never heard the castle speak.
“Your master will be saved. I can promise you that but you must help along the way as he will need you.” Hogwarts says.
Dobby looks at Harry and he will do everything to help him.
Hogwarts knew that Harry would change the school for the better as the moment he stepped through her door she felt the power had but she also felt that it wasn't time to help him but she made sure that he was always protected whenever possible.
Hogwarts sends some of her magic over Harry and she then goes and keeps watch over a certain potions master.
